Hebrews - Chapter: 1

1:1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
1:2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
1:3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
1:4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
1:5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
1:6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
1:7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
1:8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
1:9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
1:10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
1:11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
1:12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
1:13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
1:14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

1:1At sundry times and in diuers maners God spake in the olde time to our fathers by the Prophetes: in these last dayes hee hath spoken vnto vs by his Sonne,
1:2Whom he hath made heire of al things, by whome also he made the worldes,
1:3Who being the brightnes of the glory, and the ingraued forme of his person, and bearing vp all things by his mightie worde, hath by himselfe purged our sinnes, and sitteth at the right hand of the Maiestie in the highest places,
1:4And is made so much more excellent then the Angels, in as much as hee hath obteined a more excellent Name then they.
1:5For vnto which of the Angels saide he at any time, Thou art my Sonne, this day begate I thee? and againe, I will be his Father, and he shalbe my Sonne?
1:6And againe, when he bringeth in his first begotten Sonne into the worlde, hee saith, And let all the Angels of God worship him.
1:7And of the Angels he saith, He maketh the spirites his messengers, and his ministers a flame of fire.
1:8But vnto the Sonne he saith, O God, thy throne is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnes.
1:9Thou hast loued righteousnes and hated iniquitie. Wherefore God, eue thy God, hath anointed thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.
1:10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast established the earth, and the heauens are the workes of thine handes.
1:11They shall perish, but thou doest remaine: and they all shall waxe olde as doeth a garment.
1:12And as a vesture shalt thou folde them vp, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not faile.
1:13Vnto which also of the Angels saide he at any time, Sit at my right hand, til I make thine enemies thy footestoole?
1:14Are they not al ministring spirits, sent forth to minister, for their sakes which shalbe heires of saluation?

1:1God in tyme past diversly and many wayes spake vnto the fathers by Prophetes:
1:2but in these last dayes he hath spoken vnto vs by his sonne whom he hath made heyre of all thinges: by who also he made the worlde.
1:3Which sonne beynge the brightnes of his glory and very ymage of his substance bearinge vp all thinges with the worde of his power hath in his awne person pourged oure synnes and is sitten on the right honde of the maiestie an hye
1:4and is more excellent then the angels in as moche as he hath by inheritaunce obteyned an excellenter name then have they.
1:5For vnto which of the angels sayde he ateny tyme: Thou arte my sonne this daye be gate I the? And agayne: I will be his father and he shalbe my sonne.
1:6And agayne whe he bringeth in the fyrst begotten sonne in to the worlde he sayth: And all the angels of God shall worshippe him.
1:7And of the angels he sayth: He maketh his angels spretes and his ministres flammes of fyre.
1:8But vnto the sonne he sayth: God thy seate shalbe forever and ever. The cepter of thy kyngdome is a right cepter.
1:9Thou hast loved rightewesnes and hated iniquyte. Wherfore God which is thy God hath anoynted the with ye oyle of gladnes above thy felowes.
1:10And thou Lorde in the begynninge hast layde the foundacion of the erth. And the heves are the workes of thy hondes.
1:11They shall perisshe but thou shalt endure. They all shall wexe olde as doth a garment:
1:12and as a vesture shalt thou chaunge them and they shalbe chaunged. But thou arte all wayes and thy yeres shall not fayle.
1:13Vnto which of the angels sayde he at eny tyme? Sit on my ryght honde tyll I make thyne enemyes thy fote stole.
1:14Are they not all mynistrynge spretes sent to minister for their sakes which shalbe heyres of salvacion?
