1 Corinthians - Chapter: 2

>
2:1And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.
2:2Because, I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
2:3And I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
2:4And my speech and my preaching was not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
2:5that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
2:6However, we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who come to nothing.
2:7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
2:8which none of the rulers of this age knew; because, had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
2:9But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
2:10But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. Because, the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
2:11Because, what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
2:12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us from God.
2:13These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
2:14But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, because they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
2:15But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one.
2:16Because, "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

2:1And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellencie of woordes, or of wisedome, shewing vnto you the testimonie of God.
2:2For I esteemed not to knowe any thing among you, saue Iesus Christ, and him crucified.
2:3And I was among you in weakenesse, and in feare, and in much trembling.
2:4Neither stoode my woorde, and my preaching in the entising speach of mans wisdom, but in plaine euidence of the Spirite and of power,
2:5That your faith should not be in the wisdome of men, but in the power of God.
2:6And we speake wisedome among them that are perfect: not the wisedome of this world, neither of the princes of this world, which come to nought.
2:7But we speake the wisedome of God in a mysterie, euen the hid wisedom, which God had determined before the world, vnto our glory.
2:8Which none of the princes of this world hath knowen: for had they knowen it, they would not haue crucified the Lord of glory.
2:9But as it is written, The thinges which eye hath not seene, neither eare hath heard, neither came into mans heart, are, which God hath prepared for them that loue him.
2:10But God hath reueiled them vnto vs by his Spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deepe things of God.
2:11For what man knoweth the things of a man, saue the spirite of a man, which is in him? euen so the things of God knoweth no man, but the spirit of God.
2:12Nowe we haue receiued not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit, which is of God, that we might knowe the thinges that are giuen to vs of God.
2:13Which things also we speake, not in the woordes which mans wisedome teacheth, but which the holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spirituall things with spirituall things.
2:14But the naturall man perceiueth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishnesse vnto him: neither can hee knowe them, because they are spiritually discerned.
2:15But hee that is spirituall, discerneth all things: yet he himselfe is iudged of no man.
2:16For who hath knowen the minde of the Lord, that hee might instruct him? But we haue the minde of Christ.

2:1And I brethren when I came to you came not in gloriousnes of wordes or of wysdome shewynge vnto you the testimony of God.
2:2Nether shewed I my selfe that I knewe eny thinge amonge you save Iesus Christ eve the same that was crucified.
2:3And I was amoge you in weaknes and in feare and in moche treblinge.
2:4And my wordes and my preachinge were not with entysynge wordes of manes wysdome: but in shewinge of ye sprete and of power
2:5that youre fayth shuld not stonde in ye wysdome of me but in yt power of God.
2:6That we speake of is wysdome amonge them that are perfecte: not the wysdome of this worlde nether of the rulars of this worlde (which go to nought)
2:7but we speake ye wysdome of God which is in secrete and lieth hyd which God ordeyned before the worlde vnto oure glory:
2:8which wysdome none of ye rulars of the worlde knewe. For had they knowe it they wolde not have crucified the Lorde of glory.
2:9But as it is written: The eye hath not sene and the eare hath not hearde nether have entred into the herte of man ye thinges which God hath prepared for them that love him.
2:10But God hath opened them vnto vs by his sprete. For ye sprete searcheth all thinges ye the bottome of Goddes secretes.
2:11For what man knoweth the thinges of a ma: save ye sprete of a man which is with in him? Even so ye thinges of God knoweth no man but ye sprete of god.
2:12And we have not receaved the sprete of ye worlde: but the sprete which cometh of god for to knowe the thinges that are geve to vs of god
2:13which thinges also we speake not in the conynge wordes of manes wysdome but with the conynge wordes of the holy goost makynge spretuall coparesons of spretuall thinges.
2:14For ye naturall man perceaveth not the thinges of the sprete of god. For they are but folysshnes vnto him. Nether can he perceave them because he is spretually examined.
2:15But he that is spretuall discusseth all thinges: yet he him selfe is iudged of no ma.
2:16For who knoweth the mynde of the Lorde other who shall informe him? But we vnderstonde the mynde of Christ.
