Numbers - Chapter: 34


34:1	And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
34:2	Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
34:3	Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
34:4	And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
34:5	And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
34:6	And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
34:7	And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
34:8	From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
34:9	And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.
34:10	And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:
34:11	And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
34:12	And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
34:13	And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
34:14	For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
34:15	The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
34:16	And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
34:17	These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
34:18	And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
34:19	And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
34:20	And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
34:21	Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
34:22	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
34:23	The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
34:24	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
34:25	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
34:26	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
34:27	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
34:28	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
34:29	These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.


34:1	וידבר יהוה אל משׁה לאמר׃
34:2	צו את בני ישׂראל ואמרת אלהם כי אתם באים אל הארץ כנען זאת הארץ אשׁר תפל לכם בנחלה ארץ כנען לגבלתיה׃
34:3	והיה לכם פאת נגב ממדבר צן על ידי אדום והיה לכם גבול נגב מקצה ים המלח קדמה׃
34:4	ונסב לכם הגבול מנגב למעלה עקרבים ועבר צנה והיה תוצאתיו מנגב לקדשׁ ברנע ויצא חצר אדר ועבר עצמנה׃
34:5	ונסב הגבול מעצמון נחלה מצרים והיו תוצאתיו הימה׃
34:6	וגבול ים והיה לכם הים הגדול וגבול זה יהיה לכם גבול ים׃
34:7	וזה יהיה לכם גבול צפון מן הים הגדל תתאו לכם הר ההר׃
34:8	מהר ההר תתאו לבא חמת והיו תוצאת הגבל צדדה׃
34:9	ויצא הגבל זפרנה והיו תוצאתיו חצר עינן זה יהיה לכם גבול צפון׃
34:10	והתאויתם לכם לגבול קדמה מחצר עינן שׁפמה׃
34:11	וירד הגבל משׁפם הרבלה מקדם לעין וירד הגבל ומחה על כתף ים כנרת קדמה׃
34:12	וירד הגבול הירדנה והיו תוצאתיו ים המלח זאת תהיה לכם הארץ לגבלתיה סביב׃
34:13	ויצו משׁה את בני ישׂראל לאמר זאת הארץ אשׁר תתנחלו אתה בגורל אשׁר צוה יהוה לתת לתשׁעת המטות וחצי המטה׃
34:14	כי לקחו מטה בני הראובני לבית אבתם ומטה בני הגדי לבית אבתם וחצי מטה מנשׁה לקחו נחלתם׃
34:15	שׁני המטות וחצי המטה לקחו נחלתם מעבר לירדן ירחו קדמה מזרחה׃
34:16	וידבר יהוה אל משׁה לאמר׃
34:17	אלה שׁמות האנשׁים אשׁר ינחלו לכם את הארץ אלעזר הכהן ויהושׁע בן נון׃
34:18	ונשׂיא אחד נשׂיא אחד ממטה תקחו לנחל את הארץ׃
34:19	ואלה שׁמות האנשׁים למטה יהודה כלב בן יפנה׃
34:20	ולמטה בני שׁמעון שׁמואל בן עמיהוד׃
34:21	למטה בנימן אלידד בן כסלון׃
34:22	ולמטה בני דן נשׂיא בקי בן יגלי׃
34:23	לבני יוסף למטה בני מנשׁה נשׂיא חניאל בן אפד׃
34:24	ולמטה בני אפרים נשׂיא קמואל בן שׁפטן׃
34:25	ולמטה בני זבולן נשׂיא אליצפן בן פרנך׃
34:26	ולמטה בני ישׂשכר נשׂיא פלטיאל בן עזן׃
34:27	ולמטה בני אשׁר נשׂיא אחיהוד בן שׁלמי׃
34:28	ולמטה בני נפתלי נשׂיא פדהאל בן עמיהוד׃
34:29	אלה אשׁר צוה יהוה לנחל את בני ישׂראל בארץ כנען׃


34:1	And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
34:2	`Command the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are coming in unto the land of Canaan -- this `is' the land which falleth to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders --
34:3	then hath the south quarter been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, yea, the south border hath been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea, eastward;
34:4	and the border hath turned round to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and hath passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it hath gone out at Hazar-Addar, and hath passed on to Azmon;
34:5	and the border hath turned round from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.
34:6	`As to the west border, even the great sea hath been to you a border; this is to you the west border.
34:7	`And this is to you the north border: from the great sea ye mark out for yourselves mount Hor;
34:8	from mount Hor ye mark out to go in to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;
34:9	and the border hath gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is to you the north border.
34:10	`And ye have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;
34:11	and the border hath gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border hath gone down, and hath smitten against the shoulder of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
34:12	and the border hath gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is for you the land by its borders round about.'
34:13	And Moses commandeth the sons of Israel, saying, `This `is' the land which ye inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;
34:14	for the tribe of the sons of Reuben have received, by the house of their fathers; and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers; and the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;
34:15	the two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, `near' Jericho, eastward, at the `sun'-rising.'
34:16	And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
34:17	`These `are' the names of the men who give to you the inheritance of the land: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun,
34:18	and one prince -- one prince -- for a tribe ye do take to give the land by inheritance.
34:19	`And these `are' the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
34:20	and of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;
34:21	of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;
34:22	and of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki son of Jogli;
34:23	of the sons of Joseph, of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel son of Ephod;
34:24	and of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel son of Shiphtan;
34:25	and of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan son of Parnach;
34:26	and of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel son of Azzan;
34:27	and of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud son of Shelomi;
34:28	and of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel son of Ammihud.'
34:29	These `are' those whom Jehovah hath commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.
