2 Thessalonians - Chapter: 3

3:1Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
3:2And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3:3But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
3:4And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
3:5And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
3:6Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
3:7For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
3:8Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
3:9Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
3:10For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
3:11For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
3:12Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
3:13But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
3:14And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
3:15Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
3:16Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
3:17The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
3:18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
The second epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.

3:1Furthermore, brethren, pray for vs, that the worde of the Lord may haue free passage and be glorified, euen as it is with you,
3:2And that we may be deliuered from vnreasonable and euill men: for all men haue not fayth.
3:3But the Lord is faithfull, which wil stablish you, and keepe you from euill.
3:4And we are perswaded of you through the Lord, that ye both doe, and will doe the things which we warne you of.
3:5And the Lord guide your hearts to the loue of God, and the waiting for of Christ.
3:6We warne you, brethren, in the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye withdrawe your selues from euery brother that walketh inordinately, and not after the instruction, which hee receiued of vs.
3:7For ye your selues know, how ye ought to follow vs: for we behaued not our selues inordinately among you,
3:8Neither tooke we bread of any man for nought: but we wrought with labour and trauaile night and day, because we would not be chargeable to any of you.
3:9Not because we haue not authoritie, but that we might make our selues an ensample vnto you to follow vs.
3:10For euen when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any, which would not worke, that he should not eate.
3:11For we heare, that there are some which walke among you inordinately, and worke not at all, but are busie bodies.
3:12Therefore them that are such, we warne and exhort by our Lord Iesus Christ, that they worke with quietnes, and eate their owne bread.
3:13And ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
3:14If any man obey not this our saying in this letter, note him, and haue no company with him, that he may be ashamed:
3:15Yet count him not as an enemie, but admonish him as a brother.

3:10For when we were with you this we warned you of yt yf ther were eny which wolde not worke that ye same shuld not eate.
3:11We have hearde saye no doute that ther are some which walke amonge you inordinatly and worke not at all but are besy bodies.
3:12Them that are soche we commaunde and exhorte by oure lorde Iesu Christ that they worke with quyetnes and eate their awne breed.
