ברח דודי ודמה לך לצבי או לעפר האילים על הרי בשׂמים׃

Huye, amado mío; Y sé semejante al gamo, ó al cervatillo, Sobre las montañas de los aromas.

Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.

Hurry, my Beloved, and be like a gazelle, or a young deer, the stag, on the mountains of spices.

Flee, my beloved, and be it likened to thee to the roe or to the fawn of the hinds upon the mountains of spices.

Or to a young one of the harts on mountains of spices!
