Romans - Chapter: 10

10:1Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
10:2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
10:3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
10:4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
10:5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
10:6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
10:7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
10:8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10:10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
10:11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
10:12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
10:13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
10:14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
10:15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
10:16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
10:17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
10:18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
10:19But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
10:20But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
10:21But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

10:1Brethren, mine hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saued.
10:2For I beare them record, that they haue the zeale of God, but not according to knowledge.
10:3For they, being ignorant of the righteousnes of God, and going about to stablish their owne righteousnes, haue not submitted themselues to the righteousnes of God.
10:4For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousnes vnto euery one that beleeueth.
10:5For Moses thus describeth the righteousnes which is of the Lawe, That the man which doeth these things, shall liue thereby.
10:6But the righteousnes which is of faith, speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heauen? (that is to bring Christ from aboue)
10:7Or, Who shall descend into the deepe? (that is to bring Christ againe from the dead)
10:8But what sayth it? The worde is neere thee, euen in thy mouth, and in thine heart. This is the worde of faith which we preach.
10:9For if thou shalt confesse with thy mouth the Lord Iesus, and shalt beleeue in thine heart, that God raised him vp from the dead, thou shalt be saued:
10:10For with the heart man beleeueth vnto righteousnes, and with the mouth man confesseth to saluation.
10:11For the Scripture saith, Whosoeuer beleeueth in him, shall not be ashamed.
10:12For there is no difference betweene the Iewe and the Grecian: for he that is Lord ouer all, is rich vnto all, that call on him.
10:13For whosoeuer shall call vpon the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued.
10:14But how shall they call on him, in whome they haue not beleeued? and how shall they beleeue in him, of whom they haue not heard? and howe shall they heare without a preacher?
10:15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, Howe beautifull are the feete of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
10:16But they haue not all obeyed ye Gospel: for Esaias saith, Lord, who hath beleeued our report?
10:17Then faith is by hearing, and hearing by the worde of God.
10:18But I demaund, Haue they not heard? No doubt their sound went out through all the earth, and their wordes into the endes of the worlde.
10:19But I demaund, Did not Israel knowe God? First Moses sayth, I will prouoke you to enuie by a nation that is not my nation, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
10:20And Esaias is bolde, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not, and haue bene made manifest to them that asked not after me.
10:21And vnto Israel hee sayth, All the day long haue I stretched foorth mine hand vnto a disobedient, and gainesaying people.

10:1Brethren my hertes desyre and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.
10:2For I beare them recorde that they have a fervet mynde to God warde but not accordinge to knowledge.
10:3For they are ignoraut of the rightewesnes which is alowed before God and goo about to stablisshe their awne rightewesnes and therfore are not obedient vnto the rightewesnes which is of valew before God.
10:4For Christ is the ende of the lawe to iustifie all that beleve.
10:5Moses describeth the rightewesnes which cometh of ye lawe howe that the man which doth the thinges of the lawe shall lyve therin.
10:6But ye rightewesnes which cometh of fayth speaketh on this wyse. Saye not in thyne hert who shall ascende into heven? (that is nothinge els then to fetch Christ doune)
10:7Other who shall descende into the depe? (that is nothinge els but to fetch vp Christ from deeth)
10:8But what sayth the scripture? The worde is nye the even in thy mouth and in thyn herte. This worde is the worde of fayth which we preache.
10:9For yf thou shalt knowledge wt thy mouth that Iesus is the lorde and shalt beleve with thyn hert that God raysed him up from deeth thou shalt be safe.
10:10For the belefe of the hert iustifieth: and to knowledge with the mouth maketh a man safe.
10:11For the scripture sayth: whosoever beleveth on him shall not be ashamed.
10:12Ther is no difference bitwene the Iewe and the gentyll. For one is Lorde of all which is ryche vnto all that call on him.
10:13For whosoever shall call on the name of the lorde shalbe safe.
10:14But how shall they call on him on who they beleved not? how shall they beleve on him of whom they have not herde? how shall they heare with out a preacher?
10:15And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written: how beautifull are the fete of them which bringe glad tydynges of peace and bringe glad tydynges of good thinges.
10:16But they have not all obeyed to ye gospell. For Esaias sayth: Lorde who shall beleve oure sayinges?
10:17So then fayth cometh by hearynge and hearynge cometh by the worde of God.
10:18But I axe: have they not herde? No dout their sounde went out into all londes: and their wordes in to the endes of the worlde.
10:19But I demaunde whether Israel dyd knowe or not? Fyrst Moses sayth: I will provoke you for to envy by the that are no people and by a folisshe nacion I will anger you.
10:20Esaias after that is bolde and sayth. I am founde of the that sought me not and have appered to them that axed not after me.
10:21And agaynst Israel he sayth: All daye longe have I stretched forth my hondes vnto a people yt beleveth not but speaketh agaynst me.
