27:1	Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
27:2	Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:3	Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
27:4	And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
27:5	The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:6	This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
27:7	The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:8	The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:9	The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:10	The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:11	The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:12	The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:13	The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:14	The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:15	The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
27:16	Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
27:17	Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
27:18	Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
27:19	Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
27:20	Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
27:21	Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
27:22	Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
27:23	But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
27:24	Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
27:25	And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
27:26	And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27:27	And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
27:28	And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baalhanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
27:29	And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
27:30	Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
27:31	And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.
27:32	Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:
27:33	And Ahithophel was the king's counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:
27:34	And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king's army was Joab.


27:1	ובני ישׂראל למספרם ראשׁי האבות ושׂרי האלפים והמאות ושׁטריהם המשׁרתים את המלך לכל דבר המחלקות הבאה והיצאת חדשׁ בחדשׁ לכל חדשׁי השׁנה המחלקת האחת עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:2	על המחלקת הראשׁונה לחדשׁ הראשׁון ישׁבעם בן זבדיאל ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:3	מן בני פרץ הראשׁ לכל שׂרי הצבאות לחדשׁ הראשׁון׃
27:4	ועל מחלקת החדשׁ השׁני דודי האחוחי ומחלקתו ומקלות הנגיד ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:5	שׂר הצבא השׁלישׁי לחדשׁ השׁלישׁי בניהו בן יהוידע הכהן ראשׁ ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:6	הוא בניהו גבור השׁלשׁים ועל השׁלשׁים ומחלקתו עמיזבד בנו׃
27:7	הרביעי לחדשׁ הרביעי עשׂה אל אחי יואב וזבדיה בנו אחריו ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:8	החמישׁי לחדשׁ החמישׁי השׂר שׁמהות היזרח ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:9	השׁשׁי לחדשׁ השׁשׁי עירא בן עקשׁ התקועי ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:10	השׁביעי לחדשׁ השׁביעי חלץ הפלוני מן בני אפרים ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:11	השׁמיני לחדשׁ השׁמיני סבכי החשׁתי לזרחי ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:12	התשׁיעי לחדשׁ התשׁיעי אביעזר הענתתי לבנימיני ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:13	העשׂירי לחדשׁ העשׂירי מהרי הנטופתי לזרחי ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:14	עשׁתי עשׂר לעשׁתי עשׂר החדשׁ בניה הפרעתוני מן בני אפרים ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:15	השׁנים עשׂר לשׁנים עשׂר החדשׁ חלדי הנטופתי לעתניאל ועל מחלקתו עשׂרים וארבעה אלף׃
27:16	ועל שׁבטי ישׂראל לראובני נגיד אליעזר בן זכרי לשׁמעוני שׁפטיהו בן מעכה׃
27:17	ללוי חשׁביה בן קמואל לאהרן צדוק׃
27:18	ליהודה אליהו מאחי דויד לישׂשכר עמרי בן מיכאל׃
27:19	לזבולן ישׁמעיהו בן עבדיהו לנפתלי ירימות בן עזריאל׃
27:20	לבני אפרים הושׁע בן עזזיהו לחצי שׁבט מנשׁה יואל בן פדיהו׃
27:21	לחצי המנשׁה גלעדה ידו בן זכריהו לבנימן יעשׂיאל בן אבנר׃
27:22	לדן עזראל בן ירחם אלה שׂרי שׁבטי ישׂראל׃
27:23	ולא נשׂא דויד מספרם למבן עשׂרים שׁנה ולמטה כי אמר יהוה להרבות את ישׂראל ככוכבי השׁמים׃
27:24	יואב בן צרויה החל למנות ולא כלה ויהי בזאת קצף על ישׂראל ולא עלה המספר במספר דברי הימים למלך דויד׃
27:25	ועל אצרות המלך עזמות בן עדיאל ועל האצרות בשׂדה בערים ובכפרים ובמגדלות יהונתן בן עזיהו׃
27:26	ועל עשׂי מלאכת השׂדה לעבדת האדמה עזרי בן כלוב׃
27:27	ועל הכרמים שׁמעי הרמתי ועל שׁבכרמים לאצרות היין זבדי השׁפמי׃
27:28	ועל הזיתים והשׁקמים אשׁר בשׁפלה בעל חנן הגדרי ועל אצרות השׁמן יועשׁ׃
27:29	ועל הבקר הרעים בשׁרון שׁטרי השׁרוני ועל הבקר בעמקים שׁפט בן עדלי׃
27:30	ועל הגמלים אוביל הישׁמעלי ועל האתנות יחדיהו המרנתי׃
27:31	ועל הצאן יזיז ההגרי כל אלה שׂרי הרכושׁ אשׁר למלך דויד׃
27:32	ויהונתן דוד דויד יועץ אישׁ מבין וסופר הוא ויחיאל בן חכמוני עם בני המלך׃
27:33	ואחיתפל יועץ למלך וחושׁי הארכי רע המלך׃
27:34	ואחרי אחיתפל יהוידע בן בניהו ואביתר ושׂר צבא למלך יואב׃


27:1	And the sons of Israel, after their number, heads of the fathers, and princes of the thousands and of the hundreds, and their officers, those serving the king in any matter of the courses, that are coming in and going out month by month, throughout all months of the year -- `are' in each course twenty and four thousand.
27:2	Over the first course, for the first month, `is' Jashobeam son of Zabdiel, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand;
27:3	of the sons of Perez `is' the head of all princes of the hosts for the first month.
27:4	And over the course of the second month `is' Dodai the Ahohite, and his course, and Mikloth `is' the president, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:5	Head of the third host, for the third month, `is' Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the head priest, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:6	This Benaiah `is' a mighty one of the thirty, and over the thirty, and `in' his course `is' Ammizabad his son.
27:7	The fourth, for the fourth month, `is' Asahel brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:8	The fifth, for the fifth month, `is' the prince Shamhuth the Izrahite, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:9	The sixth, for the sixth month, `is' Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:10	The seventh, for the seventh month, `is' Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:11	The eighth, for the eighth month, `is' Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhite, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.

27:14	Eleventh, for the eleventh month, `is' Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:15	The twelfth, for the twelfth month, `is' Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, and on his course `are' twenty and four thousand.
27:16	And over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenite, a leader `is' Eliezer son of Zichri; of the Simeonite, Shephatiah son of Maachah;

27:23	And David hath not taken up their number from a son of twenty years and under, for Jehovah said to multiply Israel as the stars of the heavens.
27:24	Joab son of Zeruiah hath begun to number -- and hath not finished -- and there is for this wrath against Israel, and the number hath not gone up in the account of the Chronicles of king David.
27:25	And over the treasures of the king `is' Azmaveth son of Adiel; and over the treasures in the field, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers, `is' Jehonathan son of Uzziah;
27:26	and over workmen of the field for the service of the ground `is' Ezri son of Chelub;
27:27	and over the vineyards `is' Shimei the Ramathite; and over what `is' in the vineyards for the treasures of wine `is' Zabdi the Shiphmite;
27:28	and over the olives, and the sycamores, that `are' in the low country, `is' Baal-Hanan the Gederite; and over the treasures of oil `is' Joash;
27:29	and over the herds that are feeding in Sharon `is' Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds in the valleys `is' Shaphat son of Adlai;
27:30	and over the camels `is' Obil the Ishmeelite; and over the asses `is' Jehdeiah the Meronothite;
27:31	and over the flock `is' Jaziz the Hagerite; all these `are' heads of the substance that king David hath.
27:32	And Jonathan, uncle of David, `is' counsellor, a man of understanding, he is also a scribe; and Jehiel son of Hachmoni `is' with the sons of the king;
27:33	and Ahithophel `is' counsellor to the king; and Hushai the Archite `is' the friend of the king;
27:34	and after Ahithophel `is' Jehoiada son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the head of the host of the king `is' Joab.
