2 Chronicles - Chapter: 19

>
19:1And Iehoshaphat the king of Iudah returned to his house in peace to Ierusalem.
19:2And Iehu the sonne of Hanani the seer, went out to meete him, and sayd to king Iehoshaphat, Shouldest thou helpe the vngodly, and loue them that hate the Lord ? Therefore is wrath vpon thee from before the Lord.
19:3Neuerthelesse, there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groues out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seeke God.
19:4And Iehoshaphat dwelt at Ierusalem: and hee went out againe through the people, from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them backe vnto the Lord God of their fathers.
19:5And he set Iudges in the land, throughout all the fenced cities of Iudah, city by city,
19:6And said to the Iudges, Take heed what ye doe: for yee iudge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the iudgement.
19:7Wherefore now, let the feare of the Lord be vpon you, take heed and doe it: for there is no iniquitie with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
19:8Moreouer in Ierusalem did Iehoshaphat set of the Leuites, and of the Priests, and of the chiefe of the fathers of Israel, for the iudgement of the Lord, and for controuersies, when they returned to Ierusalem.
19:9And hee charged them, saying, Thus shall yee doe in the feare of the Lord faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
19:10And what cause soeuer shal come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, betweene blood and blood, betweene Law and Commandement, Statutes and Iudgements, yee shall euen warne them that they trespasse not against the Lord, and so wrath come vpon you, and vpon your brethren: this doe, & ye shall not trespasse.
19:11And behold, Amariah the chiefe Priest is ouer you in all matters of the Lord, and Zebadiah the sonne of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Iudah, for all the Kings matters: Also the Leuites shall be officers before you. Deale couragiously, and the Lord shalbe with the good.

19:2And Iehu the sonne of Hanani the sear went out to meete him, and sayd to king Iehosaphat: Wouldest thou helpe the vngodly, and loue them that hate the Lorde? Therfore is wrath come downe vpon thee from before the Lorde
19:3Neuerthelesse, there are some good actes founde in thee, in that thou hast hewen downe the groues out of the lande, and hast prepared thyne heart to seke God
19:4And Iehosaphat dwelt at Hierusalem, and turned and went out to the people from Beerseba to mount Ephraim, and brought them againe vnto the Lorde God of their fathers
19:5And he set iudges in the lande throughout all the strong cities of Iuda, citie by citie
19:6And sayde to the iudges, Take heede what ye do: for ye execute not the iudgementes of man, but of God, whiche is with you in the iudgement
19:7Wherfore now let the feare of the Lord be vpon you, and take heede, & be doyng the thing that pleaseth hym for there is no vnrighteousnes with the Lorde our God, that he shoulde haue any respect of persons, or take rewardes
19:8Moreouer, in Hierusalem did Iehosaphat set of the Leuites, & of the priestes, and of the auncient fathers, ouer Israel in the iudgement and cause of the Lord: And they returned againe to Hierusale
19:9And he charged them, saying, Thus shal ye do in the feare of the Lord faythfully, and with a pure heart
19:10What cause soeuer come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, betweene blood and blood, betweene lawe and commaundemet, betweene statutes and ordinaunces: ye shall warne them that they trespasse not against ye Lorde, and so wrath come vpon you and your brethren: Thus do, & ye shal not offende
19:11And beholde, Amaria the hie priest is among you in all matters of the Lorde, and Zebadia the sonne of Ismael, a ruler of the house of Iuda for all the kinges matters: There be officers of the Leuites also before you, Take courage to you therfore, and be doyng manfully and the Lorde shalbe with such as be good

 

19:1And Iehoshaphat the King of Iudah returned safe to his house in Ierusalem.
19:2And Iehu the sonne of Hanani the Seer went out to meete him, and said to King Iehoshaphat, Wouldest thou helpe the wicked, and loue them that hate the Lord? therefore for this thing the wrath of the Lord is vpon thee.
19:3Neuertheles good things are found in thee, because thou hast taken away ye groues out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seeke God.
19:4So Iehoshaphat dwelt at Ierusalem, and returned and went through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them againe vnto the Lord God of their fathers.
19:5And hee set iudges in the lande throughout all the strong cities of Iudah, citie by citie,
19:6And said to the iudges, Take heede what ye doe: for yee execute not the iudgements of man, but of the Lord, and he will be with you in the cause and iudgement.
19:7Wherefore nowe let the feare of the Lord be vpon you: take heede, and do it: for there is no iniquitie with the Lord our God, neither respect of persons, nor receiuing of reward.
19:8Moreouer in Ierusalem did Iehoshaphat set of the Leuites, and of the Priests and of the chiefe of the families of Israel, for the iudgement and cause of the Lord: and they returned to Ierusale.
19:9And he charged them, saying, Thus shall yee doe in the feare of the Lord faithfully and with a perfite heart.
19:10And in euery cause that shall come to you of your brethren that dwel in their cities, betweene blood and blood, betweene law and precept, statutes and iudgements, ye shall iudge them, and admonish them that they trespasse not against the Lord, that wrath come not vpon you and vpon your brethren. This shall ye do and trespasse not.
19:11And behold, Amariah the Priest shalbe the chiefe ouer you in all matters of the Lord, and Zebadiah ye sonne of Ishmael, a ruler of the house of Iudah, shalbe for al the Kings affaires, and the Leuites shalbe officers before you. Bee of courage, and doe it, and the Lord shalbe with the good.
