>
7:1Now it came to passe when the wall was built, and I had set vp the doores; and the porters, and the singers, and the Leuites were appointed,
7:2That I gaue my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge ouer Ierusalem (for hee was a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many.)
7:3And I said vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the Sunne bee hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doores, and barre them. And appoint watches of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his wateh, and euery one to bee ouer against his house.
7:4Now the city was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.
7:5And my God put into mine heart, to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, & the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogie. And I found a register of the genealogie of them which came vp at the first, and found written therein;
7:6These are the children of the prouince, that went vp out of the captiuitie, of those that had beene caried away whom Nebuchadnezzar the King of Babylon had caried away, and came againe to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie:
7:7Who came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nahum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel, was this:
7:8The children of Parosh, two thousand, an hundred, seuentie and two.
7:9The children of Shephatiah, three hundred, seuentie and two.
7:10The children of Arah, sixe hundred, fiftie and two.
7:11The children of Pahath-Moab, of the children of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, and eight hundred, and eighteene.
7:12The children of Elam, a thousand, two hundred, fiftie and foure.
7:13The children of Zattu, eight hundred fourtie and fiue.
7:14The children of Zaccai, seuen hundred and threescore.
7:15The children of Binnui, sixe hundred, fourty and eight.
7:16The children of Bebai, sixe hundred, twentie and eight.
7:17The children of Azgad, two thousand, three hundred, twentie and two.
7:18The children of Adonikam, sixe hundred, threescore and seuen.
7:19The children of Biguai, two thousand, threescore and seuen.
7:20The children of Adin, sixe hundred, fiftie and fiue.
7:21The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninetie and eight.
7:22The children of Hashum, three hundred, twentie and eight.
7:23The children of Bezai, three hundred twentie and foure.
7:24The children of Hariph, an hundred and twelue.
7:25The children of Gibeon, ninetie and fiue.
7:26The men of Bethlehem, and Netophah, an hundred, fourescore and eight.
7:27The men of Anathoth, an hundred, twentie and eight.

7:29The men of Kiriath-iearim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seuen hundred fourtie and three.
7:30The men of Ramah and Geba, sixe hundred, twentie and one.
7:31The men of Michmash, an hundred and twenty and two.
7:32The men of Bethel and Ai, an hundred, twentie and three.
7:33The men of the other Nebo, fiftie and two.
7:34The children of the other Elam, a thousand, two hundred, fiftie & foure.

7:37The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seuen hundred, twentie and one.
7:38The children of Senaa, three thousand, nine hundred, and thirty.
7:39The Priests. The children of Iedaia, of the house of Ieshua, nine hundred, seuentie and three.
7:40The children of Immer, a thousand, fifty and two.
7:41The children of Pashur, a thousand, two hundred, fourtie and seuen.
7:42The children of Harim, a thousand, and seuenteene.
7:43The Leuites. The children of Ieshua, of Kadmiel, and of the children of Hodeuah, seuentie and foure.
7:44The singers. The children of Asaph, an hundred, fourtie and eight.
7:45The porters. The children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, an hundred, thirtie and eight.
7:46The Nethinims. The children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabaoth,
7:47The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
7:48The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,
7:49The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
7:50The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
7:51The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,
7:52The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
7:53The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
7:54The children of Baslith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
7:55The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamiah,
7:56The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
7:57The children of Solomons seruants: The children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
7:58The children of Iaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
7:59The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth Zebaim, the children of Amon,
7:60All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomons seruants, were three hundred ninetie and two.
7:61And these were they which went vp also from Tel-Melah, Tel-Haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shewe their fathers house, nor their seede, whether they were of Israel.
7:62The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, sixe hundred fourtie and two.
7:63And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which tooke one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.
7:64These sought their register, among those that were reckoned by genealogie, but it was not found: therfore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
7:65And the Tirshatha said vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy things, till there stood vp a priest with Urim and Thummim.
7:66The whole congregation together, was fourtie and two thousand, three hundred and threescore:
7:67Beside their man seruants, and their maid seruants, of whome there were seuen thousand, three hundred, thirtie and seuen: and they had two hundred fourtie and fiue singing men and singing women.
7:68Their horses, seuen hundred, thirtie and sixe: their mules, two hundred fourtie and fiue:
7:69Their camels, foure hundred thirtie and fiue: sixe thousand, seuen hundred and twentie asses.
7:70And some of the chiefe of the fathers, gaue vnto the worke: The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of gold, fiftie basons, fiue hundred and thirtie priests garments.
7:71And some of the chiefe of the fathers gaue to the treasure of the worke twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousand and two hundred pound of siluer.
7:72And that which the rest of the people gaue, was twentie thousand drammes of gold, and two thousand pound of siluer, and threescore and seuen priests garments.
7:73So the priests, and the Leuites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities: And when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

 

7:1Nowe when the wall was builded, and I had set vp the doores, and the porters, and the singers and the Leuites were appointed,
7:2Then I commanded my brother Hanani and Hananiah the prince of the palace in Ierusalem (for he was doubtlesse a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many)
7:3And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
7:4Nowe the citie was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not buylded.
7:5And my God put into mine heart, and I gathered the princes, and the rulers, and the people, to count their genealogies: and I found a booke of the genealogie of them, which came vp at the first, and found written therein,
7:6These are the sonnes of the prouince that came vp from the captiuitie that was caried away (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caryed away) and they returned to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie.
7:7They which came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nehum, Baanah. This is the nomber of the men of the people of Israel.
7:8The sonnes of Parosh, two thousande an hundreth seuentie and two.
7:9The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth seuentie and two.
7:10The sonnes of Arah, sixe hundreth fiftie and two.
7:11The sonnes of Pahath Moab of ye sonnes of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and eighteene.

7:32The men of Beth-el and Ai, an hundreth and three and twentie.

7:55The sonnes of Barkos, the sonnes of Sissera, the sonnes of Tamah,
7:56The sonnes of Neziah, the sonnes of Hatipha,
7:57The sonnes of Salomons seruantes, the sonnes of Sotai, the sonnes of Sophereth, ye sonnes of Perida,
7:58The sonnes of Iaala, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
7:59The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth of Zebaim, the sonnes of Amon.
7:60All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruantes were three hundreth, ninetie and two.

7:66All the Congregation together was two and fourtie thousand, three hundreth and threescore,
7:67Besides their seruantes and their maydes, which were seuen thousand, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and they had two hundreth and fiue and fourtie singing men and singing women.
7:68Their horses were seuen hundreth and sixe and thirtie, and their mules two hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
7:69The camels foure hundreth and fiue and thirtie, and sixe thousande, seuen hundreth and twentie asses.
7:70And certaine of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the worke. The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of golde, fiftie basins, fiue hundreth and thirtie Priests garments.
7:71And some of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousand drams of golde, and two thousande and two hundreth pieces of siluer.
7:72And the rest of the people gaue twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousande pieces of siluer, and three score and seuen Priestes garments.
7:73And the Priestes, and Leuites, and the porters and the singers and the rest of the people and the Nethinims, and all Israel dwelt in their cities: and when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

 

7:1Now when the wall was buylded, I hanged on the dores also, and the porters, syngers & leuites were appoynted.
7:2And I commaunded my brother Hanani, and Hanania the ruler of the castel at Ierusalem: for he was a faithfull man, and feared God more then dyd many other,
7:3and I sayde vnto them let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntyll the sonne be whote. And whyle they were standinge in the watch, they shutt the dores and barred them. And we appoynted certayne cytesins of Ierusalem, appoynted to be watchmen, euery one to kepe hys watch, and euery one to be ouer against his house.
7:4As for the cite, it was large of rowme, and great, but the people were fewe therin, and the houses were not buylded.
7:5And my God gaue me in my hert, that I gathered togeather the principall men, & the officiers, and the people, to nombre them, and I founde a register of the nombre of them which came vp before out of the captiuyte:
7:6& founde wryten therin: these are the sonnes of the land that wente vp from the captiuyte of the caryinge awaye (whom Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon had brought awaye) & came agayne to Ierusalem & Iuda, euery one vnto his cytie.
7:7They which came wt Zorobabel are these: Iesua, Nehemia, Asariah, Raamia, Nahamani, Mardochee, Belsam, Mesperath, Beguai, Nahum and Baanah. This is the nombre of the men of the people of Israel.
7:8The chyldren of Pharos were two thousand, an hundred & two & seuentye:
7:9the chyldren of Saphatiah, thre hundred and two & seuentye:
7:10the children of Arah, syxe hundred and two and fyftye:
7:11the chyldren of the captayne of Moab amonge the chyldren of Iesua & Ioab, two thousande, eyght hundred, and eyghtene:
7:12the chyldren of Elam, a thousande, two hundred and foure and fyftye:
7:13the chyldren of Zathua, eyght hundred and fyue & fortye,
7:14the chyldren of Zachai seuen hundred and threskore:
7:15the chyldren of Banui: sixe hundred & eyght & fortie:
7:16the chyldren of Bebai, syxe hundred & eyght & twentye:

7:43The Leuytes. The chyldren of Iesua of Cadmiel and of the chyldren of Hoduah, foure & seuentye.

7:50the chyldren of Reaia, the chyldren of Rezin, the chyldren of Necoda,
7:51the chyldren of Gasam, the chyldren of Usa the chyldren of Phaseah,
7:52the children of Besai, the chyldren of Meunim, the chyldren of Nephussim,
7:53the chyldren of Bachur, the chyldren of Hacupha, the chyldren of Harhur,
7:54the chyldren of Bazlith, the chyldren of Mehida, the chyldren of Harsa,
7:55the chyldren of Barcos, the chyldren of Sissera, the chyldren of Thamah,
7:56the chyldren of Neziah, the chyldren of Hatipha.
7:57The chyldren of Salomons seruauntes: the chyldren of Sotai, the chyldren of Sophereth, the chyldren of Pherida,
7:58the chyldren of Iaala, the chyldren of Darcon, the chyldren of Giddel,
7:59the chyldren of Saphatiah, the chyldren of Hatil, the chyldren of Pochereth of Zabaini, the chyldren of Amon.
7:60All these Nethinims and the children of Salomons seruauntes, were thre hundred & nynetie and two.
7:61And these wente vp also of Thel Mela, Thel Harsa, Cherub, Adon and Immer: but they coulde not shewe theyr fathers house nor theyr sede, and that they were of Israel.
7:62The chyldren of Dalaiah, the chyldren of Tobia and the chyldren of Necoda, syxe hundred and two and fortye.
7:63And of the preastes, the chyldren of Habaiah: the chyldren of Hacos, the chyldren of Bersilai, whych toke one of the daughters of Bersilai the Gileadite to wyfe, and was named after their name.
7:64These soughte theyr writyng in the register of theyr generacion, but they were not founde, therfore they were put from the presthode.
7:65And Hathirsata sayd vnto them, that they shulde not eate of the moost holy, tyll there came vp a Preaste whych shulde were Urim and Thumin.
7:66And so the whole congregacyon together was two & fortye thousande, thre hundred, & thre skore:
7:67besyde their seruauntes and maydens, of whom there were seuen thousande, thre hundred and seuen and thirtye. And they had two hundred and seuen and fortye syngynge men and wemen.
7:68Their horses, seuen hundred and syxe & thirtye, & their Mules: two hundred & fyue & fortye.
7:69The camels, foure hundred & fyue & thirtye: syxe thousande, seuen hundred and twentye Asses.
7:70And certayne of the auncyent fathers gaue vnto the worcke. Hathirsatha gaue to the treasure a thousand peces of gold, fyftie basens, fyue hundred & thirtye prestes garmentes.
7:71And some of the chefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousande peces of gold & two thousande & two hundred pounde of syluer.
7:72And the other people gaue twentye thousande peces of golde, and two thousande pounde of syluer and thre skore and seuen preastes garmentes.
7:73And the preastes & Leuites, the Porters, and the syngers, & the other of the people, and the Nethinims, & all Israel, dwelt in their cyties. And the seuenth moneth came, and the chyldren of Israel were in theyr cyties.
