12:1These are the preastes and Leuites that wente vp with Zorobabel the sonne of Salathiel & with Iesua: Sararia, Ieremi, & Esdras,
12:2Amaria, Maluch, Hatus,
12:3Sechania, Rehum, Merimoth,
12:4Iddo, Genthoi, Abia,
12:5Miamin, Maaria, Belga,
12:6Semaia, Ioiarib, Iadaia,
12:7Salu, Amok, Helkia, and Iadaia. These were the heades among the preastes, and theyr brethren, in the dayes of Iesua.
12:8The Leuytes were these: Iesua, Bennui, Cadmil, Sarabia, Iuda and Mathania which was ouer the offyce of thankesgeuynge, he and hys brethren:
12:9Bacbukia and Himni and theyr brethren, were aboute them in the watches.
12:10Iesua begat Ioakim. Ioakim also begat Eliasib, & Eliasib begat Ioiada.
12:11Ioiada begat Ionathan, and Ionathan begat Iadua.
12:12In the dayes of Ioakim were these the chefe fathers amonge the prestes: vnder Sararia, Maraia: vnder Ieremy, Hanania:
12:13vnder Esdras, Mesulam: vnder Amaria, Iehoanan:
12:14vnder Milico, Ionathan: vnder Sebania, Ioseph:
12:15vnder Harim Adna: vnder Maraioth, Helca:
12:16vnder Iddo, Zachary: vnder Genthon, Mesullam:
12:17vnder Abia, Zichri: vnder Miniamin and Moadia, Piltai:
12:18vnder Belga, Samua: vnder Senieia, Iehonathan:
12:19vnder Ioiarib, Mathenai, vnder Iadaia, Usi:
12:20vnder Selai, Kelai: vnder Amok, Eber:
12:21vnder Helchia, Hasabia: vnder Iadaia, Nathanael.
12:22And in the tyme of Eliasib: Ioiada, Iohanan & Iadua, were the chefe fathers amonge the Leuites and the preastes, written vnder the raygne of Darius the Persian.
12:23The chyldren of Leui, the principall fathers were written in the Chronicles, vntill the tyme of Ionathan the sonne of Eliasib.
12:24And these were the chefe among the Leuites, Hasabia, Serebia and Iesua the sonne of Cadmiel, and theyr brethren in their presence, to geue prayse & thankes, accordynge as Dauid the man of God had ordeyned it, one watch ouer agaynst another.
12:25Mathania, Balbukia, Obadia, Mesullam, Talmon and Abub were porters in the watch at the thresholdes of the gates.
12:26These were in the dayes of Ioiakim the sonne of Iesua the sonne of Iosedec, and in the dayes of Nehemia the captayne, and of the preaste Esdras the scrybe.
12:27And in the dedycacyon of the wall at Ierusalem, they sought the Leuites out of all theyr places, that they myghte be brought to Ierusalem, to kepe the dedicacion & gladnesse, wyth thankesgeuynges, and singinge wyth Cymbales, Psalteries, and harpes.
12:28And the chyldren of the syngers geathered them selues together from euery syde out of the playne countre aboute Ierusalem, and from the vyllages of Netho phathi,
12:29from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countrees of Geba and Asmaueth: for the syngers had buylded them vyllages rounde aboute Ierusalem.
12:30And the preastes and Leuites were purifyed, and clensed the people, and the gates and the wall.
12:31And I brought the princes of Iuda vp vpon the wall, and appoynted two greate queers of men to geue thankes, whych wente on the ryghte hande of the wall towarde the Donggate,
12:32and after them wente Hosaia, and halfe of the prynces of Iuda,
12:33and Asaria, Esdras, and Mesullam,
12:34Iuda, BenIamin, Semia and Ieremy:
12:35and certayne of the preastes chyldren wyth trompettes, namely Zachary the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Semeia, the sonne of Mathania, the sonne of Michaia, the sonne of Zacur, the sonne of Asaph,
12:36and hys brethren Semeia, Alarael, Melalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathanael & Iuda and Hanani, wyth the musicall instrumentes of Dauid the man of God. And Esdras the Scrybe went before them,
12:37and besyde the wellgate, they wente vp ouer agaynst them vpon the steppes of the cytye of Dauid at the goynge vp of the wall beyonde the house of Dauid, vnto the Watergate Eastwarde.
12:38The other queer of them that gaue thankes, went ouer agaynst them, and I after them, and the halfe parte of the people vpon the wall, beyonde the fornacegate, vntyll the brode wall,
12:39and beyonde the porte of Ephraim, & beyonde the Oldgate, beyonde the fyshgate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Mea, vntyll the Shepegate. And they stode styll in the presongate,
12:40and so stode the two queers (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers wyth me,
12:41and the Preastes, namely Eliakim, Maasia, Miniamin, Michaia, Elioenai, Zachary and Hanania, wyth trompettes,
12:42and Maasia, Semeiah, Eleasar, Ursi, Iehohanan, Melchiah, Elam and Ser. And the syngers sange loude, hauynge Iestahiah for theyr ouerseer.
12:43And the same daye, they offred greate sacrifyces and reioysed: for God had geuen them greate gladnesse, so that both the wyues and chyldren were ioyfull, and the myrth of Ierusalem was herde farre of.
12:44At the same tyme were there men appoynted ouer the treasure houses (wherin were the Heue offerynges, the fyrstlynges & the tythes) that they shulde geather them out of the feldes aboute the cytyes, to destribute them vnto the preastes & Leuites according to the lawe: for Iuda was glad of the preastes, & Leuites, that they stode & wayted
12:45vpon the office of their God, which is a pure office. And the singers & porters stode after the commaundment of Dauid & of Salomon his sonne:
12:46for in the tyme of Dauid & Asaph, were the chefe syngers founded, & the songes of prayse & thankesgeuyng vnto God.
12:47In the tyme of Zorobabel & Nehemia, dyd all they of Israel, geue porcions vnto the syngers and porters, euery daye hys porcion, and they gaue tythes vnto the Leuites: and the Leuites gaue tythes agayne, vnto the children of Aaron.

12:6Adaie, Sellum, Amoe, Elceia, and Jadie;
12:7these weren the princes of prestis `and her britheren, in the daies of Josue.
12:8Certis dekenes; Jesua, Bennuy, Cedynyel, Serabie, Juda, Mathanye, `weren ouer the ympnes, `thei and her britheren;
12:9and Bezechie, and Ezanny, and the britheren of hem, ech man in his office.
12:10Sotheli Josue gendride Joachym, and Joachym gendride Eliasib, and Eliasib gendride Joiada,
12:11and Joiada gendride Jonathan, and Jonathan gendride Jeddaia.
12:12Forsothe in the daies of Joachym weren prestis, and princis of meynees of prestis, Saraie, Amarie, Jeremye, Ananye, Esdre,
12:13Mosollam, Amarie, Johannam,
12:14Mylico, Jonathan, Sebenye,
12:15Joseph, Aram, Edua,
12:16Maraioth, Elchie, Addaie, Zacharie, Genthon,
12:17Mosollam, Abie, Zecherie, Myamyn, and Moadie,
12:18Phelti, Belge, Sannya, Semeie,
12:19Jonathan, Joarib, Mathanye, Jodaie, Azi,
12:20Sellaye, Mochebor, Helchie,
12:21Asebie, Idaie, Nathanael.
12:22Dekenes in the daies of Eliasib, and of Joiada, and of Jonam, and of Jedda, weren writun princes of meynees, `and prestis in the rewme of Darius of Persis.
12:23The sones of Leuy, princes of meynees, weren writun in the book of wordis of daies, and `til to the daies of Jonathan, sone of Eliasib.
12:24`And the princes of dekenes weren Asebie, Serebie, and Jesue, the sone of Cedynyel; and the britheren of hem bi her whiles, that thei schulden herie and knowleche bi the comaundement of kyng Dauid, the man of God, and thei schulden kepe euenli bi ordre.
12:25Mathanye, and Bethbecie, and Obedie, Mosollam, Thelmon, Accub, weren keperis of the yatis, and of the porchis bifor the yatis.
12:26These weren in the daies of Joachym, sone of Josue, sone of Josedech, and in the daies of Neemye, duyk, and of Esdras, the prest and writere.
12:27Forsothe in the halewyng of the wal of Jerusalem thei souyten dekenes of alle her places, to bryng hem in to Jerusalem, and to make the halewyng in gladnesse, in the doyng of thankyngis, and in song, and in cymbalis, and in sautrees, and in harpis.
12:28Sotheli the sones of syngeris weren gaderid bothe fro the feeldi places aboute Jerusalem, and fro the townes of Nethophati,
12:29and fro the hows of Galgal, and fro the cuntreis of Gebez, and of Amanech; for syngeris hadden bildid townes to hem silf in the cumpas of Jerusalem.
12:30And prestis and dekenes weren clensid, and thei clensiden the puple, and the yatis, and the wal.
12:31Forsothe Y made the princes of Juda to stie on the wal, and Y ordeynede twei greete queris of men heriynge; and thei yeden to the riyt side on the wal, to the yate of the dunghil.
12:32And Osaie yede aftir hem, and the half part of prynces of Juda,
12:33and Azarie, Esdras, and Mosollam, Juda, and Beniamyn, and Semeye, and Jeremye `yeden aftir hem.
12:34And of the sones of prestis syngynge in trumpis; Zacharie, the sone of Jonathan, the sone of Semeie, the sone of Mathanye, the sone of Machaie, the sone of Zeccur, the sone of Asaph.
12:35And hise britheren; Semeie, and Azarel, Malalai, Galalai, Maai, Nathanael, and Juda, and Amany, in the instrumentis of song of Dauid, the man of God; and Esdras, the wrytere, bifor hem, in the yate of the welle.
12:36And thei stieden ayens hem in the greis of the citee of Dauid, in the stiyng of the wal, on the hows of Dauid, and `til to the yate of watris at the eest.
12:37And the secounde queer of men tellynge thankyngis yede euene ayens, and Y aftir hym; and the half part of the puple was on the wal, and on the tour of ouenys, and `til to the broddeste wal;
12:38and on the yate of Effraym, and on the elde yate, and on the yate of fischis, and on the toure of Ananeel, and on the tour of Emath, and thei camen `til to the yate of the floc;
12:39and thei stoden in the yate of kepyng. And twei queeris of men heriynge stoden in the hows of God, and Y and the half part of magistratis with me.
12:40And the prestis, Eliachym, Maasie, Myamyn, Mychea, Helioneai, Zacharie, Ananye, in trumpis;
12:41and Maasie, and Senea, and Eleazar, and Azi, and Johannan, and Melchia, and Elam, and Ezer; and the syngeris sungen clereli, and Jezraie, the souereyn.
12:42And thei offriden in that dai grete sacrifices, and weren glad; `for God `hadde maad hem glad with grete gladnesse. But also her wyues and lawful childre weren ioiful, and the gladnesse of Jerusalem was herd fer.
12:43Also thei noumbriden in that dai men ouer the keping places of tresour, to moiste sacrifices, and to the firste fruytis, and to tithis, that the princes of the citee schulden brynge in bi hem, `in the fairenesse of doyng of thankyngis, prestis and dekenes; for Juda was glad in prestis and dekenes present.
12:44And thei kepten the kepyng of her God, the kepyng of clensyng; and syngeris, and porteris, bi the comaundement of Dauid and of Salomon, his sone;
12:45for in the daies of Dauid and of Asaph fro the bigynnyng princes of syngeris weren ordeyned, heriyng in song, and knoulechynge to God.
12:46And al Israel, in the daies of Zorobabel, and in the daies of Neemye, yauen partis to syngeris and to porteris bi alle `the daies; and thei halewiden dekenes, and the dekenes halewiden the sones of Aaron.

12:22And in the tyme of Eliasib. Ioiada, Iohanan and Iaddua, were the chefe fathers amonge the Leuites, and the prestes wrytte vnder the reigne of Darius ye Persian.
12:23The children of Leui the pryncipall fathers were wrytten in the Cronicles, vntyll the tyme of Iohanan the sonne of Eliasib.
12:24And these were the chefe amoge the Leuites, Hasabia, Serebia and Iesua the sonne of Cadmiel, & their brethren ouer agaynst them, to geue prayse and thankes, acordinge as Dauid ye ma of God had ordeyned it, one watch ouer agaynst another.
12:25Mathania, Bacbuchia, Obadia, Mesullam, Talmon and Acub were porters in the watch at the thresholdes of the gates.
12:26These were in the tyme of Ioiachim the sonne of Iesua the sonne of Iosedec, and in the tyme of Nehemias the Debyte, and of the prest E?dras the scrybe.
12:27And in the dedicacion of the wall at Ierusalem, were the Leuites soughte out of all their places, that they mighte be broughte to Ierusalem, to kepe ye dedicacion in gladnesse, with thankesgeuynges, with synginge, with Cymbales, Psalteries and harpes.
12:28And the children of the syngers gathered the selues together from the playne countre aboute Ierusalem, and from the vyllages of Nethophathi,
12:29and from the house of Gilgal, & out of the feldes of Gibea & Asmaueth: for ye syngers had buylded them vyllages aboute Ierusalem.
12:30And ye prestes and Leuites purified them selues, and clensed the people, the gates and the wall.
12:31And I caused the prynces to go vp vpon the wall, and appoynted two greate queres of thankesgeuynge, which wete on the righte hande of the wall towarde the Donggate,
12:32and after them wete Hosaia, and halfe of the prynces of Iuda,
12:33& Asaria, E?dras, Mesullam,
12:34Iuda, Ben Iamin, Semaia and Ieremy:
12:35and certayne of the prestes childre wt trompettes, namely Zachary ye sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Semaia, the sonne of Mathania, the sonne of Michaia, the sonne of Sachur, the sonne of Assaph,
12:36and his brethren, Semaia, Asareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathaneel and Iuda and Hanani, with the musicall instrumentes of Dauid ye man of God. And E?dras ye scrybe before the
12:37towarde the Wellgate, and they wente vp ouer agaynst them vpon the steppes of the cite of Dauid at the goynge vp of the wall to the house of Dauid, vnto the Watergate Eastwarde.
12:38The other quere of thankesgeuynge wente ouer against them, and I after them, and the halfe parte of the people vpon ye wall, towarde ye Fornacegate vpwarde, vntyll ye brode wall,
12:39and to ye porte of Ephraim, and to the Oldgate, and to ye Fyshgate, and to the tower of Hananeel, and to the tower of Meah, vntyll the Shepegate. And in ye presongate stode they styll,
12:40and so stode the two queres of thankesgeuynge of the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me,
12:41and the prestes, namely Eliachim, Maeseia, Miniamin, Michaia, Elioenai, Zachary, Hanania, with tropettes,
12:42and Maeseia, Semaia, Eleasar, Vsi, Iohanan, Malchia, Elam and Aser. And the syngers songe loude, and Iesrahia was the ouerseer.
12:43And the same daye were there greate sacrifices offred, & they reioysed: for God had geue them greate gladnesse, so that both the wyues and children were ioyfull, & the myrth of Ierusalem was herde farre of.
12:44At the same tyme were there men appoynted ouer the treasure chestes (wherin were ye Heueofferynges, the firstlinges and the tithes) that they shulde gather them out of ye feldes aboute the cities, to destribute the vnto the prestes and Leuites acordinge to the lawe: for Iuda was glad of the prestes, and Leuites, that they stode and wayted
12:45vpon the office of their God, and the office of the purificacion. And the syngers & porters stode after the commaundemet of Dauid & of Salomon his sonne:
12:46for in the tyme of Dauid and Assaph, were the chefe syngers founded, and the songes of prayse and thankesgeuynge vnto God.
12:47In the tyme of Zorobabel and Nehemias, dyd all Israel geue porcios vnto the syngers and porters, euery daye his porcion, and they gaue thinges halowed vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue thinges that were sanctified, vnto the childre of Aaron.
