Job - Chapter: 32

>
32:1So these three men ceased to answere Iob, because he was righteous in his owne eyes.
32:2Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu, the sonne of Barachel the Buzite, of the kinred of Ram: against Iob was his wrath kindled, because he iustified himselfe rather then God.
32:3Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled: because they had found no answere, and yet had condemned Iob.
32:4Now Elihu had waited till Iob had spoken: because they were elder then he.
32:5When Elihu saw that there was no answere in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
32:6And Elihu the sonne of Barachel the Buzite answered and sayd: I am yong, and yee are very old, wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
32:7I said, Dayes should speake, and multitude of yeeres should teach wisedome.
32:8But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almightie giueth them vnderstanding.
32:9Great men are not alwayes wise: neither doe the aged vnderstand iudgement.
32:10Therfore I sayd, Hearken to me: I also will shew mine opinion.
32:11Behold, I waited for your words: I gaue eare to your reasons, whilest you searched out what to say.
32:12Yea, I attended vnto you: and beholde, there was none of you that conuinced Iob, or that answered his words:
32:13Lest ye should say, We haue found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
32:14Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answere him with your speeches.
32:15They were amased, they answered no more, they left off speaking.
32:16When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still and answered no more.)
32:17I sayd, I will answere also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
32:18For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
32:19Behold, my belly is as wine, which hath no vent, it is ready to burst like new bottles.
32:20I will speake, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lippes, and answere.
32:21Let me not, I pray you, accept any mans person: neither let me giue flattering titles vnto man.
32:22For I know not to giue flattering titles: in so doing my maker would soone take me away.

32:1So these three men ceassed to aunswere Iob, because he held him selfe a righteous man
32:2But Elihu the sonne of Barachel the Buzite, of the kinred of Ram, was very sore displeased at Iob, because he called hym selfe iust before God
32:3And with Iobs three friendes he was angry also, because they had founde no reasonable aunswere, and yet condempned Iob
32:4Nowe taried Elihu, till they had ended their comunication with Iob: for why? they were elder then he
32:5So when Elihu sawe that these three men were not able to make Iob aunswere, he was miscontent
32:6Therfore Elihu the sonne of Barachel the Buzite aunswered, and sayde: Considering that I am young, and ye be men of age, I was afrayde, and durst not shewe foorth my mynde
32:7For I thought thus within my selfe: It becommeth old men to speake, and the aged to teache wysdome
32:8Euery man no doubt hath a mynde, but it is the inspiration of the almightie that geueth vnderstanding
32:9Great men are not alway wyse, neither doth euery aged man vnderstande the thing that is lawfull
32:10Therefore I say, heare me, and I wil shewe you also myne vnderstanding
32:11For when I had wayted till ye made an end of your talking, and hearde your wysdome, what argumentes ye made in your communication
32:12Yea when I had diligently pondred what ye sayde, I found not one of you that made any good argument against Iob, that directly could make aunswere vnto his wordes
32:13Lest ye should say: We haue found out wisdome, God shall cast hym downe, and no man
32:14He hath not spoken vnto me, and I wil not aunswere hym as ye haue done
32:15For they were so abashed, that they coulde not make aunswere, nor speake one worde
32:16When I had wayted (for they spake not, but stoode still and aunswered no more:
32:17Then aunswered I in my turne, and I shewed myne opinion
32:18For I am full of matter, and the spirite within me compelleth me
32:19Beholde, my belly is as the wine, whiche hath no vent, lyke the newe bottels that bruste
32:20Therfore will I speake, that I may haue a bent: I will open my lippes, and make aunswere
32:21I will regarde no maner of person, no man will I spare
32:22For if I woulde go about to please men, I knowe not howe soone my maker would take me away

32:1So these three men ceased to answere Iob, because he esteemed himselfe iust.
32:2Then the wrath of Elihu the sonne of Barachel the Buzite, of the familie of Ram, was kindled: his wrath, I say, was kindled against Iob, because he iustified himselfe more then God.
32:3Also his anger was kindled against his three friends, because they could not finde an answere, and yet condemned Iob.
32:4(Now Elihu had wayted til Iob had spoken: for they were more ancient in yeeres then he)
32:5So when Elihu saw, that there was none answere in the mouth of the three men, his wrath was kindled.
32:6Therefore Elihu the sonne of Barachel, the Buzite answered, and sayd, I am yong in yeres, and ye are ancient: therefore I doubted, and was afraide to shewe you mine opinion.
32:7For I said, The dayes shall speake, and the multitude of yeeres shall teach wisedome.
32:8Surely there is a spirite in man, but the inspiration of the Almightie giueth vnderstanding.
32:9Great men are not alway wise, neither doe the aged alway vnderstand iudgement.
32:10Therefore I say, Heare me, and I will shew also mine opinion.
32:11Behold, I did waite vpon your wordes, and hearkened vnto your knowledge, whiles you sought out reasons.
32:12Yea, when I had considered you, lo, there was none of you that reproued Iob, nor answered his wordes:
32:13Lest ye should say, We haue found wisedome: for God hath cast him downe, and no man.
32:14Yet hath he not directed his words to me, neyther will I answere him by your wordes.
32:15Then they fearing, answered no more, but left off their talke.
32:16When I had wayted (for they spake not, but stood still and answered no more)
32:17Then answered I in my turne, and I shewed mine opinion.
32:18For I am full of matter, and the spirite within me compelleth me.
32:19Beholde, my belly is as the wine, which hath no vent, and like the new bottels that brast.
32:20Therefore will I speake, that I may take breath: I will open my lippes, and will answere.
32:21I will not now accept the person of man, neyther will I giue titles to man.
32:22For I may not giue titles, lest my Maker should take me away suddenly.
