Psalms - Chapter: 43

43:1Geue sentence wt me (O God) & defende my cause agaynst the vngodly people: Oh delyuer me from the disceatfull & wycked man.
43:2For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou put me from the? And why go I so heuely, whyle the enemye oppresseth me?
43:3Oh send out thy lyght & thy trueth that they maye leade me & bryng me vnto thy holy hyll, & to thy dwellyng.
43:4And that I maye go vnto the aulter of God, euen vnto the God of my ioye & gladnesse, & vpon the harpe wyll I geue thankes vnto the (O God) my God.
43:5Why art thou so heuy (O my soule) & why art thou so disquyeted wythin me? O put thy trust in God, for I will yet geue hym thankes whych is the helpe of my countenaunce, and my God.

 

43:1The title of the thre and fourtithe salm. `To victorie, lernyng to the sones of Chore.
43:2God, we herden with oure eeris; oure fadris telden to vs. The werk, which thou wrouytist in the daies of hem; and in elde daies.
43:3Thin hond lost hethene men, and thou plauntidist hem; thou turmentidist puplis, and castidist hem out.
43:4For the children of Israel weldiden the lond not bi her swerd; and the arm of hem sauyde not hem. But thi riyt hond, and thin arm, and the liytnyng of thi cheer; for thou were plesid in hem.
43:5Thou art thi silf, my kyng and my God; that sendist helthis to Jacob.

43:3Oh sende out yi light & thy trueth, yt they maye lede me & brynge me vnto thy holy hill and to thy dwellinge.
43:4That I maye go into the aulter of God, euen vnto the God which is my ioye & pleasure, & vpon the harpe to geue thakes vnto ye, o God, my God.
43:5Why art thou so heuy (o my soule) & why art thou so disquieted within me? O put thy trust in God, for I wil yet geue him thakes for ye helpe of his countenauce, and because he is my God.
