Psalms - Chapter: 47

>
47:1[To the chiefe musician, a psalme for the sonnes of Korah.] O Clap your hands (all ye people:) shoute vnto God with the voyce of triumph:
47:2For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King ouer all the earth.
47:3Hee shall subdue the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feet.
47:4He shall chuse our inheritance for vs, the excellencie of Iacob whom hee loued. Selah.
47:5God is gone vp with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
47:6Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises vnto our King, sing praises.
47:7For God is the King of all the earth, sing ye praises with vnderstanding.
47:8God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon the throne of his holinesse.
47:9The princes of the people are gathered together, euen the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong vnto God: hee is greatly exalted.

 

47:1Clap your handes all ye people: make a noise vnto the Lorde with a ioyfull voyce
47:2For God is hygh and terrible: he is the great king vpon all the earth
47:3He wyll subdue the people vnder vs: and the nations vnder our feete
47:4He hath chosen for vs our inheritaunce: the glorie of Iacob who he loued. Selah
47:5The Lorde ascendeth in a triumph: and God with the sounde of a trumpet
47:6Syng psalmes to the Lorde, syng psalmes: syng psalmes to our kyng, sing psalmes
47:7For the Lorde is kyng of all the earth: syng psalmes all you that haue skyll
47:8God raigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne
47:9The princes of the people are assembled together for to be the people of the God of Abraham: for the shieldes of the earth be Gods, who is hyghly exalted

 

47:1To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.
47:2For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.
47:3He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.
47:4Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. Selah.
47:5God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.
47:6Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.
47:7For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.
47:8God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne.
47:9The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.
