Psalms - Chapter: 63

>
63:1[A Psalme of Dauid, when hee was in the wildernesse of Iudah.] O God, thou art my God, earely will I seeke thee: my soule thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, in a drie and thirstie lande, where no water is:
63:2To see thy power and thy glory, so as I haue seen thee in the Sanctuary.
63:3Because thy louing kindnes is better then life: my lips shal praise thee.
63:4Thus will I blesse thee, while I liue: I will lift vp my handes in thy Name.
63:5My soule shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatnesse: and my mouth shall praise thee with ioyfull lips:
63:6When I remember thee vpon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
63:7Because thou hast bene my helpe; therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I reioyce.
63:8My soule followeth hard after thee: thy right hand vpholdeth me.
63:9But those that seeke my soule to destroy it, shall goe into the lower parts of the earth.
63:10They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
63:11But the King shal reioyce in God; euery one that sweareth by him shall glorie: but the mouth of them that speake lies, shall be stopped.

63:1O Lorde thou art my Lorde: early in the morning I do seeke thee. (63:2) My soule thirsteth for thee: my fleshe also longeth after thee in a baren and drye lande where no water is
63:2(63:3) To see thee euen so as I haue seene thee in the sanctuary: that I might beholde thy power and glory
63:3(63:4) For thy louing kindnes is better then life itselfe: my lippes shall prayse thee
63:4(63:5) As long as I liue I wyll blesse thee on this maner: and in thy name I wyll lyft vp my handes
63:5(63:6) My soule is satisfied euen as it were with mary and fatnes: and my mouth prayseth thee with ioyfull lippes
63:6(63:7) Haue I not remembred thee in my bed: and thought vpon thee when I was waking
63:7(63:8) Because thou hast ben my helper: therfore vnder the shadowe of thy wynges do I reioyce
63:8(63:9) My soule cleaueth fast vnto thee: thy right hande hath vpholden me
63:9(63:10) And they that seeke my soule to oppresse it: shall go vnder the earth
63:10(63:11) Euery one of them shalbe killed with the edge of a sworde: and they shalbe a portion for Foxes
63:11(63:12) But the king shal reioyce in the Lord, al they shal glory that sweare by him: for the mouth of all them that speake a lye, shalbe stopped

63:1A Psalme of David. When he was in the wildernesse of Judah. O God, thou art my God, earely will I seeke thee: my soule thirsteth for thee: my flesh longeth greatly after thee in a barren and drye land without water.
63:2Thus I beholde thee as in the Sanctuarie, when I beholde thy power and thy glorie.
63:3For thy louing kindnesse is better then life: therefore my lippes shall prayse thee.
63:4Thus will I magnifie thee all my life, and lift vp mine hands in thy name.
63:5My soule shalbe satisfied, as with marowe and fatnesse, and my mouth shall praise thee with ioyfull lippes,
63:6When I remember thee on my bedde, and when I thinke vpon thee in the night watches.
63:7Because thou hast bene mine helper, therefore vnder the shadow of thy wings wil I reioyce.
63:8My soule cleaueth vnto thee: for thy right hand vpholdeth me.
63:9Therefore they that seeke my soule to destroy it, they shall goe into the lowest partes of the earth.
63:10They shall cast him downe with the edge of the sword, and they shall be a portion for foxes.
63:11But the King shall reioyce in God, and all that sweare by him shall reioyce in him: for the mouth of them that speake lyes, shall be stopped.
