91:1The `title of the oon and nyntithe salm. `The salm of `song, in the dai of sabath.
91:2It is good to knouleche to the Lord; and to synge to thi name, thou hiyeste.
91:3To schewe eerli thi merci; and thi treuthe bi nyyt.
91:4In a sautrie of ten cordis; with song in harpe.
91:5For thou, Lord, hast delitid me in thi makyng; and Y schal make ful out ioye in the werkis of thin hondis.
91:6Lord, thi werkis ben magnefied greetli; thi thouytis ben maad ful depe.
91:7An vnwise man schal not knowe; and a fool schal not vndirstonde these thingis.
91:8Whanne synneris comen forth, as hey; and alle thei apperen, that worchen wickidnesse.
91:9That thei perische in to the world of world; forsothe thou, Lord, art the hiyest, withouten ende. For lo!
91:10Lord, thin enemyes, for lo! thin enemyes schulen perische; and alle schulen be scaterid that worchen wickidnesse.
91:11And myn horn schal be reisid as an vnicorn; and myn eelde in plenteuouse merci.
91:12And myn iye dispiside myn enemyes; and whanne wickid men rysen ayens me, myn eere schal here.
91:13A iust man schal floure as a palm tree; he schal be multiplied as a cedre of Liban.
91:14Men plauntid in the hous of the Lord; schulen floure in the porchis of the hous of oure God.
91:15Yit thei schulen be multiplied in plenteuouse elde; and thei schulen be suffryng wel. That thei telle, that oure Lord God is riytful; and no wickidnesse is in hym.

91:1Who so dwelleth in the secrete of the most High, shall abide in the shadowe of the Almightie.
91:2I will say vnto the Lord, O mine hope, and my fortresse: he is my God, in him will I trust.
91:3Surely he will deliuer thee from the snare of the hunter, and from the noysome pestilence.
91:4Hee will couer thee vnder his winges, and thou shalt be sure vnder his feathers: his trueth shall be thy shielde and buckler.
91:5Thou shalt not be afraide of the feare of the night, nor of the arrowe that flyeth by day:
91:6Nor of the pestilence that walketh in the darkenesse: nor of the plague that destroyeth at noone day.
91:7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and tenne thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come neere thee.
91:8Doubtlesse with thine eyes shalt thou beholde and see the reward of the wicked.
91:9For thou hast said, The Lord is mine hope: thou hast set the most High for thy refuge.
91:10There shall none euill come vnto thee, neither shall any plague come neere thy tabernacle.
91:11For hee shall giue his Angels charge ouer thee to keepe thee in all thy wayes.
91:12They shall beare thee in their handes, that thou hurt not thy foote against a stone.
91:13Thou shalt walke vpon the lyon and aspe: the yong lyon and the dragon shalt thou treade vnder feete.
91:14Because he hath loued me, therefore will I deliuer him: I will exalt him because hee hath knowen my Name.
91:15He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.
91:16With long life wil I satisfie him, and shew him my saluation.
