118:1O geue thanckes vnto the Lorde, for he hys gracious, because hys mercy endureth for euer.
118:2Let Israel now confesse, that his mercy endureth for euer.
118:3Let the house of Aaron now confesse, that his mercy endureth for euer.
118:4Yee let them now that feare the Lord confesse, that his mercy endureth for euer.
118:5I called vpon the Lord in trouble, and the Lord herd me at large.
118:6The Lord is on my syde, I wyll not feare what man doeth vnto me.
118:7The Lorde taketh my parte wt them that help me: therfore shall I se my desyre vpon myne enemyes.
118:8It is better to trust in the Lord, then to put eny confydence in man.
118:9It is better to trust in the Lorde, then to put eny confydence in prynces.
118:10All nacions compased me rounde about, but in the name of the Lorde will I destroy them.
118:11They kept me in on euery syde, they kept me in (I saye) on euery syde, but in the name of the Lorde, I wyll destroye them.
118:12They came aboute me lyke bees, and are extincte, euen as the fyre amonge the thornes, for in the name of the Lorde I wyl destroye them.
118:13Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I myght fall, but the Lorde was my helpe.
118:14The Lorde is my strength, & my songe, and is become my saluacion.
118:15The voyce of ioye and health is in the dwellynges of the ryghteous: the ryght hande of the Lorde bryngeth myghtye thynges to passe.
118:16The ryght hande of the Lorde hath the preeminence, the ryght hande of the Lorde bryngeth mightie thynges to passe.
118:17I wyll not dye, but lyue, and declare the workes of the Lorde.
118:18The Lorde hath chastened & correcte me, but he hath not geuen me ouer vnto death.
118:19Open me the gates of righteousnes, that I may go into them, & geue thankes vnto the Lorde.
118:20Thys is the gate of the Lorde, the ryghteous shal entre into it.
118:21I wyl thanke the, for thou hast herde me, and arte become my saluacion.
118:22The same stone whyche the buylders refused, is become the heade stone in the corner.
118:23Thys was the Lordes doynge, and it is maruelous in oure eyes.

118:2Blessid ben thei, that seken hise witnessingis; seken him in al the herte.
118:3For thei that worchen wickidnesse; yeden not in hise weies.
118:4Thou hast comaundid; that thin heestis be kept greetly.
118:5I wolde that my weies be dressid; to kepe thi iustifiyngis.
118:6Thanne Y schal not be schent; whanne Y schal biholde perfitli in alle thin heestis.
118:7I schal knouleche to thee in the dressing of herte; in that that Y lernyde the domes of thi riytfulnesse.
118:8I schal kepe thi iustifiyngis; forsake thou not me on ech side.
118:9In what thing amendith a yong waxinge man his weie? in keping thi wordis.
118:10In al myn herte Y souyte thee; putte thou me not awei fro thin heestis.
118:11In myn herte Y hidde thi spechis; that Y do not synne ayens thee.
118:12Lord, thou art blessid; teche thou me thi iustifiyngis.
118:13In my lippis Y haue pronounsid; alle the domes of thi mouth.
118:14I delitide in the weie of thi witnessingis; as in alle richessis.
118:15I schal be ocupied in thin heestis; and Y schal biholde thi weies.
118:16I schal bithenke in thi iustifiyngis; Y schal not foryete thi wordis.
118:17Yelde to thi seruaunt; quiken thou me, and Y schal kepe thi wordis.
118:18Liytne thou myn iyen; and Y schal biholde the merueils of thi lawe.
118:19I am a comeling in erthe; hide thou not thin heestis fro me.
118:20Mi soule coueitide to desire thi iustifiyngis; in al tyme.
118:21Thou blamedist the proude; thei ben cursid, that bowen awei fro thin heestis.
118:22Do thou awei `fro me schenschipe and dispising; for Y souyte thi witnessingis.
118:23For whi princis saten, and spaken ayens me; but thi seruaunt was exercisid in thi iustifiyngis.
118:24For whi and thi witnessyngis is my thenkyng; and my counsel is thi iustifiyngis.
118:25Mi soule cleuede to the pawment; quykine thou me bi thi word.
118:26I telde out my weies, and thou herdist me; teche thou me thi iustifiyngis.
118:27Lerne thou me the weie of thi iustifiyngis; and Y schal be exercisid in thi merueils.
118:28Mi soule nappide for anoye; conferme thou me in thi wordis.
118:29Remoue thou fro me the weie of wickidnesse; and in thi lawe haue thou merci on me.
