| 124:2 | If it had not bene the Lord, who was on our side, when men rose vp against vs: |
| 124:3 | Then they had swallowed vs vp quicke: when their wrath was kindled against vs. |
| 124:4 | Then the waters had ouerwhelmed vs; the streame had gone ouer our soule. |
| 124:5 | Then the proud waters had gone ouer our soule. |
| 124:6 | Blessed be the Lord: who hath not giuen vs as a pray to their teeth. |
| 124:7 | Our soule is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the foulers; the snare is broken, and we are escaped. |
| 124:8 | Our helpe is in the name of the Lord: who made heauen and earth. |

| 124:7 | Our soule is escaped, euen as a bird out of the snare of the foulers: the snare is broken, and we are deliuered. |
| 124:8 | Our helpe is in the Name of the Lord, which hath made heauen and earth. |

| 124:6 | Our soule is escaped, euen as a byrde out of the snare of the fouler: |
| 124:7 | the snare is broken, and we are delyuered. |
| 124:8 | Our helpe standeth in the name of the Lorde, whych hath made heauen and earth. |
