Psalms - Chapter: 149

149:1Praise yee the Lord: Sing vnto the Lord a new song: and his prayse in the Congregation of Saints.
149:2Let Israel reioyce in him that made him: let the children of Zion bee ioyfull in their King.
149:3Let them praise his Name in the dance: let them sing praises vnto him with the timbrell and harpe.
149:4For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: hee will beautifie the meeke with saluation.
149:5Let the Saints be ioyfull in glory: let them sing aloude vpon their beddes.
149:6Let the high praises of God be in their mouth: and a two edged sword in their hand:
149:7To execute vengeance vpon the heathen: and punishments vpon the people.
149:8To binde their Kings with chaines: and their Nobles with fetters of yron.
149:9To execute vpon them the iudgement written: This honour haue all his Saints. Praise ye the Lord.

 

149:1Praise ye the Lord. Sing ye vnto the Lord a newe song: let his prayse be heard in the Congregation of Saints.
149:2Let Israel reioyce in him that made him, and let ye children of Zion reioyce in their King.
149:3Let them prayse his Name with the flute: let them sing prayses vnto him with the timbrell and harpe.
149:4For the Lord hath pleasure in his people: he will make the meeke glorious by deliuerance.
149:5Let ye Saints be ioyfull with glorie: let them sing loud vpon their beddes.
149:6Let the high Actes of God bee in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hands,
149:7To execute vengeance vpon the heathen, and corrections among the people:
149:8To binde their Kings in chaines, and their nobles with fetters of yron,
149:9That they may execute vpon them the iudgement that is written: this honour shall be to all his Saintes. Prayse ye the Lord.

 

149:1Haleluiah. Prayse the euerlastynge. O synge vnto the Lorde a newe songe, let the congregacyon of sainctes prayse hym.
149:2Let Israel reioyce in him that made hym, and let the chyldren of Sion be ioyfull in their king.
149:3Let them prayse his name in the daunce, let them synge prayses vnto hym with tabrette & harpe.
149:4For the Lorde hath pleasure in hys people, and helpeth the meke harted.
149:5Let the saynctes be ioyfull with glory, let them reioyse in their beddes.
149:6Let the prayses of God be in their mouth, and a two edged swerde in their handes.
149:7To be auenged of the Heathen, and to rebuke the people.
149:8To bynde their Kynges in cheynes, and their nobles wt lynkes of yron.
149:9That they maye be auenged of them, as it is wrytten: soche honoure haue all hys saynctes. Haleluiah.
