Exodus - Chapter: 39

>
39:1And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:2And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
39:3And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
39:4They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
39:5And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:6And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
39:7And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:8And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
39:9It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.
39:10And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
39:11And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
39:12And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
39:13And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.
39:14And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
39:15And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.
39:16And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.
39:17And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
39:18And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.
39:19And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.
39:20And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
39:21And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:22And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
39:23And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
39:24And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
39:25And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
39:26A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:27And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
39:28And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
39:29And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:30And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
39:31And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:32Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
39:33And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
39:34And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,
39:35The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
39:36The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
39:37The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
39:38And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
39:39The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
39:40The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
39:41The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.
39:42According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
39:43And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

39:1Moreouer they made garments of ministration to minister in the Sanctuarie of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet: they made also the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had comanded Moses.
39:2So he made the Ephod of gold, blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen.
39:3And they did beate the golde into thinne plates, and cut it into wiers, to worke it in ye blewe silke and in the purple, and in the skarlet, and in the fine linen, with broydred worke.
39:4For the which they made shoulders to couple together: for it was closed by the two edges thereof.
39:5And the broydred garde of his Ephod that was vpon him, was of the same stuffe, and of like worke: euen of golde, of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
39:6And they wrought two Onix stones closed in ouches of golde, and graued, as signets are grauen, with the names of the children of Israel,
39:7And put them on the shoulders of the Ephod, as stones for a remembrance of the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
39:8Also he made the brestplate of broydred worke like the worke of the Ephod: to wit, of gold, blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen.
39:9They made the brest plate double, and it was square, an hand breadth long, and an hand breadth broad: it was also double.
39:10And they filled it with foure rowes of stones. The order was thus, a Rubie, a Topaze, and a Carbuncle in the first rowe:
39:11And in the seconde rowe, an Emeraude, a Saphir, and a Diamond:
39:12Also in the thirde rowe, a Turkeis, an Achate, and an Hematite:
39:13Likewise in the fourth rowe, a Chrysolite, an Onix, and a Iasper: closed and set in ouches of golde.
39:14So the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, euen twelue after their names, grauen like signets euery one after his name according to the twelue tribes.
39:15After, they made vpon the brest plate cheines at the endes, of wrethen worke and pure golde.
39:16They made also two bosses of golde, and two golde rings, and put the two rings in the two corners of the brest plate.
39:17And they put ye two wrethe cheines of gold in the two rings, in the corners of the brest plate.
39:18Also the two other endes of the two wrethen chaines they fastened in the two bosses, and put the on the shoulders of the Ephod vpon the forefront of it.
39:19Likewise they made two rings of gold, and put them in the two other corners of the brest plate vpon the edge of it, which was on the inside of the Ephod.
39:20They made also two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the Ephod, beneath on the foreside of it, and ouer against his coupling aboue the broydered garde of the Ephod.
39:21Then they fastened the brest plate by his rings vnto the rings of the Ephod, with a lace of blewe silke, that it might bee fast vpon the broydered garde of the Ephod, and that the brest plate should not be loosed from the Ephod, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
39:22Moreouer, he made the robe of the Ephod of wouen worke, altogether of blewe silke.
39:23And the hole of the robe was in the middes of it, as the coller of an habergeon, with an edge about the coller, that it shoulde not rent.
39:24And they made vpon the skirts of the robe pomegranates, of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen twined.
39:25They made also belles of pure gold and put the belles betweene the pomegranates vpon the skirtes of the robe rounde about betweene the pomegranates.
39:26A bel and a pomegranate, a bel and a pomegranate round about the skirts of the robe to minister in, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
39:27After, they made coates of fine linen, of wouen worke for Aaron and for his sonnes.
39:28And the miter of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
39:29And the girdle of fine twined linen, and of blew silke, and purple, and skarlet, euen of needle worke, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
39:30Finally they made the plate for the holy crowne of fine golde, and wrote vpon it a superscription like to the grauing of a signet, HOLINES TO THE LORD.
39:31And they tied vnto it a lace of blewe silke to fasten it on hie vpon the miter, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
39:32Thus was all the worke of the Tabernacle, euen of the Tabernacle of the Congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to al that the Lord had commanded Moses: so dyd they.
39:33Afterwarde they brought the Tabernacle vnto Moses, the Tabernacle and al his instruments, his taches, his boards, his barres, and his pillars, and his sockets,
39:34And the couering of rammes skinnes died red, and the couerings of badgers skinnes, and the couering vaile.
39:35The Arke of the Testimony, and the barres thereof, and the Merciseate,
39:36The Table, with all the instruments thereof, and the shewebread,
39:37The pure Candlesticke, the lampes thereof, euen the lampes set in order, and all the instruments thereof, and the oyle for light:
39:38Also the golden Altar and the anoynting oyle, and the sweete incense, and the hanging of the Tabernacle doore,
39:39The brasen Altar with his grate of brasse, his barres and all his instruments, the Lauer and his foote.
39:40The curtaines of the court with his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging to the court gate, and his cordes, and his pinnes, and all the instruments of the seruice of the Tabernacle, called the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
39:41Finally, the ministring garmentes to serue in the Sanctuarie, and the holy garmentes for Aaron the Priest, and his sonnes garmentes to minister in the Priestes office.
39:42According to euery poynt that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the worke.
39:43And Moses beheld al the worke, and behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded: so had they done: and Moses blessed them.
