| 19:1 | The heuye burthen of Egypte: Beholde, the Lorde rydeth vpon a swyfte clowde, and shall come into Egypte, & the ydols of Egypte shall tremble at the presence of hym, & the hert of Egypte shall quake in the myddes of her. |
| 19:2 | And I wyll set the Egypcians one agaynst another, so that one brother shall fyght agaynst another, & one neyghboure agaynst another, citye agaynst citye, & realme agaynst realme. |
| 19:3 | The mynde also of Egipte shalbe cleane without councell within it selfe, & the deuyce that they take, wyll I destroye, so that they shall seke councell at ydols & at sorcerers, at workers with spretes & at sothsayers. |
| 19:4 | And the Egypcians will I geue ouer into the hande of a maruelous cruell Lorde, & a myghtie kynge shall haue dominion ouer them, sayeth the Lord God of hostes. |
| 19:5 | The waters of the see shal fayle, & the ryuer shall decreace and be dryed vp. |
| 19:6 | The waters shalbe drawen out: the ryuers of Egypte shalbe emptyed & dryed vp, the redes and flagges shalbe cut downe. |
| 19:7 | The grasse in the ryuer & by the ryuers banck, & all that groweth by the ryuer shal wither awaye, and be brought to naught. |
| 19:8 | The fysshers also shal mourne and all they that cast angle into the water, shal make lamentacion, and they that laye forth theyr nett besyde the waters, shalbe roted out. |
| 19:9 | Morouer, they that worke in flaxe, and make fyne workes, shall be confounded, and so shall they that weaue open workes. |
| 19:10 | For theyr open workes shalbe euen destroyed, and all they that make pondes and stewes for fish shall come to naught. |
| 19:11 | But ye foolish prynces of Zoan, ye wyse councelours of Pharao, whose wit is turned to foolyshnes, how saye ye vnto Pharao: I am come of wyse men & of auncient kynges? |
| 19:12 | Wher ar they? where are (I saye) thy wyse men? Let them tell the (yf they can) what the lord of hoostes hath deuysed vpon Egypte. |
| 19:13 | The prynces of zoan are become fooles, the prynces of Noph are disceaued, they haue disceaued Egypte, euen they that were taken for the chefe kynred therof. |
| 19:14 | In the myddes of it hath the lord powred the sprete of wyckednes, and they haue disceaued Egypt in euery worke therof, euen as a droncken man stackereth in his vomyte. |
| 19:15 | Nether shall the heade or tayle, the braunch or rede be able to do anye worke in Egipte. |
| 19:16 | In that daye shall Egypte be lyke vnto women: It shalbe afrayed and stonde in feare at the mocyon of the hand of the Lorde of hostes, which he shaketh ouer it. |
| 19:17 | And Egipt shalbe afrayed of the land of Iuda: so that euery one which maketh mencyon of it, shalbe afrayed therat, because of the councell of the Lord of hoostes which he deuyseth for it. |
| 19:18 | In that daye shall fyue cities in the land of Egypte speake the language of Canaan, & swere by the Lord of hoostes: the citye of desolacion shalbe called one of them. |
| 19:19 | In that daye shall the altare of the Lord be in the myddes of the land of Egypt, & thys tytle besyde it: VNTO THE LORDE. |
| 19:20 | And it shalbe a token and witnesse vnto the Lord of hoostes in the lande of Egypte. For they shall crye vnto the Lorde because of such as trouble them, & he shall send them a Sauiour & a great man to delyuer them. |
| 19:21 | And the Lord shalbe knowne in Egipte, and the Egypcians shall knowe the Lord in that daye, and do sacrifice and oblation: yee they shall vowe a vowe vnto the Lord, and perfourme it. |
| 19:22 | The lord also that smyte Egypte sore, & heale them agayne, & they shalbe conuerted vnto the Lord, and he shalbe intreated of them, & shall heale them. |
| 19:23 | In that daye shall there be a comen waye out of Egypte into Assyria, and Assyria shall come into Egypte, & Egypte in to Assyria, so that the Egypcians and the Assyrians shall serue the Lorde together. |
| 19:24 | In that daye shal the nacion of Israel be the thyrde wyth Egypte & Assyria, |
| 19:25 | and they shalbe blessed in the myddes of the lande, which lande the Lord of hoostes hath blessed, sayeng: blessed is my people of Egypte, Assur also is the worke of myne handes, and Israel is myne inheritaunce. |
| 19:1 | The birthun of Egipt. Lo! the Lord schal stie on a liyt cloude, and he schal entre in to Egipt; and the symilacris of Egipt schulen be mouyd fro his face, and the herte of Egipt schal faile in the myddis therof. |
| 19:2 | And Y schal make Egipcians to renne togidere ayens Egipcians, and a man schal fiyte ayens his brother, and a man ayens his frend, a citee ayens a citee, and a rewme ayens a rewme. |
| 19:3 | And the spirit of Egipt schal be brokun in the entrailis therof, and Y schal caste doun the councel therof; and thei schulen axe her symylacris, and her false diuinouris, and her men that han vncleene spiritis spekinge in the wombe, and her dyuynouris bi sacrifices maad on auteris to feendis. |
| 19:4 | And Y schal bitake Egipt in to the hond of cruel lordis, and a strong kyng schal be lord of hem, seith the Lord God of oostis. |
| 19:5 | And watir of the see schal wexe drie, and the flood schal be desolat, and schal be dried. |
| 19:6 | And the floodis schulen faile, and the strondis of the feeldis schulen be maad thynne, and schulen be dried; a rehed and spier schal fade. |
| 19:7 | The botme of watir schal be maad nakid, and stremys fro her welle; and the moiste place of al seed schal be dried, schal waxe drie, and schal not be. |
| 19:8 | And fischeris schulen morne, and alle that casten hook in to the flood, schulen weile; and thei that spreden abrood a net on the face of watris, schulen fade. |
| 19:9 | Thei schulen be schent, that wrouyten flex, foldynge and ordeynynge sutil thingis. |
| 19:10 | And the watir places therof schulen be drye; alle that maden poondis to take fischis, schulen be schent. |
| 19:11 | The fonned princes of Tafnys, the wise counselouris of Farao, yauen vnwise counsel; hou schulen ye seie to Farao, Y am the sone of wise men, the sone of elde kyngis? |
| 19:12 | Where ben now thi wise men? Telle thei to thee, and schewe thei, what the Lord of oostis thouyte on Egipt. |
| 19:13 | The princes of Tafnys ben maad foolis; the princes of Memphis fadiden; thei disseyueden Egipt, a corner of the puplis therof. |
| 19:14 | The Lord meddlid a spirit of errour in the myddis therof; and thei maden Egipt for to erre in al his werk, as a drunkun man and spuynge errith. |
| 19:15 | And werk schal not be to Egipt, that it make an heed and tail bowynge and refreynynge. |
| 19:16 | In that dai Egipt schal be as wymmen, and thei schulen be astonyed, and schulen drede of the face of the mouynge of the hoond of the Lord of oostis, which he mouede on it. |
| 19:17 | And the lond of Juda schal be to Egipt in to drede; ech that schal thenke on it, schal drede of the face of the counsel of the Lord of oostis, whiche he thouyte on it. |
| 19:18 | In that dai fyue citees schulen be in the lond of Egipt, and schulen speke with the tunge of Canaan, and schulen swere bi the Lord of oostis; the citee of the sunne schal be clepid oon. |
| 19:19 | In that dai the auter of the Lord schal be in the myddis of the lond of Egipt, and the title of the Lord schal be bisidis the ende therof; |
| 19:20 | and it schal be in to a signe and witnessyng to the Lord of oostis, in the lond of Egipt. For thei schulen crie to the Lord fro the face of the troblere, and he schal sende a sauyour to hem, and a forfiytere, that schal delyuere hem. |
| 19:21 | And the Lord schal be knowun of Egipt, and Egipcians schulen knowe the Lord in that dai; and thei schulen worschipe hym in sacrifices and yiftis, and thei schulen make vowis to the Lord, and thei schulen paie. |
| 19:22 | And the Lord schal smyte Egipt with a wounde, and schal make it hool; and Egipcians schulen turne ayen to the Lord, and he schal be plesid in hem, and he schal make hem hool. |
| 19:23 | In that dai a wei schal be fro Egipt in to Assiriens, and Egipcians schulen serue Assur; and Assur schal entre in to Egipt, and Egipt in to Assiriens. |
| 19:24 | In that dai Israel schal be the thridde to Egipt and to Assur, the blessyng in the myddil of erthe; |
| 19:25 | whom the Lord of oostis blesside, seiynge, Blessid be my puple of Egipt, and the werk of myn hondis be to Assiriens; but myne eritage be to Israel. |

| 19:2 | For thus saieth the LORDE: I wil stere vp the Egiptians one agaynst another amonge them selues, so that one shalbe euer agaynst his brother and neghboure, yee one cite agaynst another, and one kyngdome agaynst another. |
| 19:3 | And Egipte shalbe choked in hir self. Whe they axe councel at their goddes, at their Prophetes, at their soythsayers and witches: then will I bringe their councel to naught. |
| 19:4 | I wil delyuer Egipte also in to the hondes of greuous rulers, and a cruel kinge shal haue the rule of them. |
| 19:5 | The water of the see shalbe drawe out, Nilus shal synke awaye, & be dronke vp. |
| 19:6 | The ryuers also shalbe drawen out, the welles shal decreace and drie awaye. Rede and rush shal fayle, |
| 19:7 | the grasse by the waters syde or vpon ye ryuers bancke, yee and what so euer is sowen by the waters, shalbe wythered, destroyed, & brought to naught. |
| 19:8 | The fyshers shall mourne, all soch as cast angles in the water, shal complayne, & they that sprede their nettes in the water, shalbe faynt harted. |
| 19:9 | Soch as laboure vpon flax & sylcke, shal come to pouerte, & they also that weeue fyne workes. |
| 19:10 | All the poundes of Egipte, all the policie of their Moates & diches shal come to naught. |
| 19:11 | Yee the vndiscrete prynces of Zoan, the councel of the wyse Senatours of Pharao, shal turne to foolishnesse: Those that darre boast & saye of Pharaos behalfe: I am come of wyse people. |
| 19:12 | I am come of ye olde regall Progeny. But where are now thy wyse me? Let them tel the & shewe the, what the LORDE of hoostes hath taken in honde agaynst Egypte. |
| 19:13 | Fooles are those prynces of Zoan, & proude are the prynces of Noph: yee they dysceaue Egypte mith the nobilite of their stocke. |
| 19:14 | For the LORDE hath made Egypte droncke with the sprete of erroure, and they shal vse it in all matters: eue like as a dronke ma goeth spewinge aboute. |
| 19:15 | For Egipte shal lacke good councel, so yt they shal not knowe what to do, nether beginnynge nor ende, nether vpon the lode nor water. |
| 19:16 | The shal ye Egiptias be like vnto wome, afrayde & astoied, at the liftinge vp of the hode, which ye LORDE of hoostes shal lifte vp ouer them. |
| 19:17 | The londe of Iuda also shal make the Egiptians afrayde, who so doth but speake vpon it, shal put them in feare: And that because of the councel, which ye LORDE of hoostes hath devysed agaynst them. |
| 19:18 | Then shal the fyue cities of Egipte speake with the Canaanites tunge, ande sweare by the LORDE of hoostes, & Heliopolis shalbe one of them. |
| 19:19 | At the same tyme shal the LORDE of hoostes haue an aulter in the myddest of the londe of Egipte, with this title ther by: Vnto the LORDE. |
| 19:20 | This shalbe a token or testimony vnto the LORDE of hoostes in the londe of Egipte, when they shal crie vnto him, because of those that oppresse them: that he shal sende them a captayne and a Sauioure to delyuer them. |
| 19:21 | Morouer, Egipte shalbe bought vnto the LORDE, and the Egiptians also shal knowe the LORDE at the same tyme: they shal do him reuerence with peace offringes, and with meatoffringes: they shal promyse him offringes, yee & paye him also. |
| 19:22 | Thus the LORDE shal smyte Egipte, & heale it agayne: & so shal they turne to ye LORDE, and he also shal haue mercy vpo them, and saue them. |
| 19:23 | Then shal there be a comon waye out of Egipte in to Assiria. The Assirians shal come in to Egipte, and the Egypcians in to Assiria. The Egipcians also and the Assirians shal both haue one Gods seruyce. |
| 19:24 | Then shal Israel with honoure be the thirde to Egipte and Assur. |
| 19:25 | And the LORDE of hoostes shal blesse them, sayenge: Blissed is my people of the Egipcians, Assur is the worke of my hodes, but Israel is myne enheritaunce. |
