Isaiah - Chapter: 43

>
43:1But now thus sayeth the Lord that created thee, O Iacob, and hee that formed thee, O Israel; Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee, I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
43:2When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee; and through the riuers, they shal not ouerflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burnt; neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.
43:3For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy one of Israel, thy Sauiour: I gaue Egypt for thy ransome, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
43:4Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast bene honourable, and I haue loued thee: therefore will I giue men for thee, and people for thy life.
43:5Feare not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the East, and gather thee from the West.
43:6I wil say to the North, Giue vp; and to the South, Keepe not backe: bring my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
43:7Euen euery one that is called by my Name: for I haue created him for my glory, I haue formed him, yea I haue made him.
43:8Bring foorth the blinde people, that haue eyes; and the deafe that haue eares.
43:9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew vs former things? Let them bring foorth their witnesses, that they may be iustified: or let them heare, and say, It is trueth.
43:10Yee are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my seruant whom I haue chosen: that ye may know and beleeue me, and vnderstand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
43:11I, euen I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Sauiour.
43:12I haue declared, and haue saued, and I haue shewed, when there was no strange God among you: therefore yee are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.
43:13Yea before the day was, I am hee; and there is none that can deliuer out of my hand: I will worke, and who shall let it?
43:14Thus sayth the Lord your Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel; For your sake I haue sent to Babylon, and haue brought downe all their nobles, and the Caldeans, whose crie is in the shippes.
43:15I am the Lord, your Holy one, the Creatour of Israel, your King.
43:16Thus sayth the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mightie waters:
43:17Which bringeth foorth the charet and horse, the armie and the power: they shall lie downe together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as towe.
43:18Remember yee not the former things, neither consider the things of olde.
43:19Behold, I will doe a new thing: now it shall spring foorth, shall yee not know it? I will euen make a way in the wildernesse, and riuers in the desert.
43:20The beast of the field shall honor mee, the dragons and the owles, because I giue waters in the wildernesse, and riuers in the desert, to giue drinke to my people, my chosen.
43:21This people haue I formed for my selfe, they shall shewe foorth my praise.
43:22But thou hast not called vpon me, O Iacob, but thou hast beene wearie of me, O Israel.
43:23Thou hast not brought mee the small cattell of thy burnt offrings, neither hast thou honoured mee with thy sacrifices. I haue not caused thee to serue with an offring, nor wearied thee with incense.
43:24Thou hast bought mee no sweete cane with money, neither hast thou filled mee with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made mee to serue with thy sins, thou hast wearied mee with thine iniquities.
43:25I, euen I am hee that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine owne sake, and will not remember thy sinnes.
43:26Put mee in remembrance: let vs plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest bee iustified.
43:27Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers haue transgressed against mee.
43:28Therefore I haue profaned the princes of the Sanctuarie, and haue giuen Iacob to the curse, and Israel to reproches.

43:1But nowe the Lorde that made thee O Iacob, and he that fashioned thee O Israel saith thus: feare not, for I haue redeemed thee, I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine owne
43:2If thou goest thorow ye water, I wyl be with thee, the strong fluddes shal not ouerwhelme thee: and if thou walkest thorowe the fire, it shall not burne thee, & the flambe shal not kindle vpon thee
43:3For I am the Lord thy God, the holye one of Israel thy sauiour: I gaue Egypt for thy deliueraunce, the Ethiopians and the Sabees for thee
43:4Because thou wast deare in my sight, and because I set by thee and loued thee: I wyl geue ouer all men for thee, and deliuer vp all people for thy sake
43:5Feare not, for I am with thee, I will bryng thy seede from the east, and gather thee together from the west
43:6I wyll say to the north, let go, and to the south kepe not backe: but bring me my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the endes of the worlde
43:7namely all those that be called after my name: For them haue I created, fashioned, and made for mine honour
43:8Bring foorth that people whiche is blinde and yet hath eyes, whiche are deafe although they haue eares
43:9If all nations come in one and be gathered together, whiche among them shall declare suche thinges, and tell vs the things that are past? let them bring their witnesse, so that they be iust: els let them heare, and say, it is trueth
43:10You are my witnesses saith the Lord, and my seruaunt whom I haue chosen: therefore be certified, and geue me faythfull credence, and consider that I am he before whom there was neuer any god, neither shalbe any after me
43:11I am, euen I am the only Lord, and beside me there is no sauiour
43:12I gaue warning, I made whole, I taught you when there was no straunge god among you: and this recorde must ye beare me your selues, saith the Lorde, that I am God
43:13And euen he am I who was from the beginning, and there is none that can take any thing out of my hande: I do the worke, and who shalbe able to let it
43:14Thus saith the Lorde the holy one of Israel your redeemer: for your sake I haue sent to Babylo, & brought it down: al they are fugitiue with the Chaldees, whose sorowfull crie is in their shippes
43:15I am the Lord your holy one, which haue made Israel, and am your kyng
43:16Thus saith the Lorde, euen he that maketh away in the sea, and a foote path in the mightie waters
43:17It is he whiche bringeth foorth the charrets and horses, the hoast and power of warre, that they may fall together and neuer rise, and be extinct, lyke as towe are they quenched
43:18Remember not thinges of olde, and regarde nothing that is past
43:19Beholde, I shall make a newe thing, and shortly shall it appeare, and shall you not knowe it? I wyll make a way in the desert, and riuers of water in the wyldernesse
43:20The wilde beastes shall worship me, the dragons and the young Estriches: for I shall geue water in the wyldernesse, and streames in the desert, that they may geue drinke to my people whom I chose
43:21This people haue I made for my self, and they shall shewe foorth my prayse
43:22For thou Iacob wouldest not call vppon me, but thou haddest an vnlust towarde me O Israel
43:23Thou gauest me not thy beastes for burnt offerings, neither diddest honour me with sacrifices: I haue not ben chargeable vnto thee in offeringes, neither greeuous in incense
43:24Thou boughtest me no deare spice with thy money, neither powredst the fat of thy sacrifices vpon me: but thou hast laden me with thy sinnes, and weeried me with thy vngodlynesse
43:25Where as I yet, euen I am he onlye that for my owne selues sake do away thine offences, and forget thy sinnes, so that I wyll neuer thinke vpon them
43:26Put me now in remembraunce: for we wyl reason together, & shew what thou hast for thee to make thee righteous
43:27Thy first father offended sore, and thy rulers haue sinned against me
43:28Therefore I profaned or slue the princes of the sanctuarie, I dyd curse Iacob, and gaue Israel into reproofe

43:1But nowe thus sayeth the Lord, that created thee, O Iaakob: and hee that formed thee, O Israel, Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee: I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
43:2When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, and through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.
43:3For I am the Lord thy God, the holy one of Israel, thy Sauiour: I gaue Egypt for thy ransome, Ethiopia, and Seba for thee.
43:4Because thou wast precious in my sight, and thou wast honourable, and I loued thee, therefore will I giue man for thee, and people for thy sake.
43:5Feare not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seede from the East, and gather thee from the West.
43:6I will say to the North, Giue: and to the South, Keepe not backe: bring my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the ends of the earth.
43:7Euery one shall be called by my Name: for I created him for my glorie, formed him and made him.
43:8I will bring foorth the blinde people, and they shall haue eyes, and the deafe, and they shall haue eares.
43:9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this and shewe vs former things? let them bring foorth their witnesses, that they may be iustified: but let them heare, and say, It is truth.
43:10You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my seruant, whom I haue chosen: therefore yee shall knowe and beleeue me and yee shall vnderstand that I am: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
43:11I, euen I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Sauiour.
43:12I haue declared, and I haue saued, and I haue shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, sayeth the Lord, that I am God.
43:13Yea, before the day was, I am, and there is none that can deliuer out of mine hand: I will doe it, and who shall let it?
43:14Thus sayeth the Lord your redeemer, the holy one of Israel, For your sake I haue sent to Babel, and brought it downe: they are all fugitiues, and the Chaldeans crie in the shippes.
43:15I am the Lord your holy one, the creator of Israel, your King.
43:16Thus sayeth the Lord which maketh a way in the Sea, and a path in the mighty waters.
43:17When hee bringeth out the charet and horse, the armie and the power lie together, and shall not rise: they are extinct, and quenched as towe.
43:18Remember yee not the former things, neither regard the things of olde.
43:19Behold, I do a new thing: now shall it come foorth: shall you not knowe it? I wil euen make a way in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse.
43:20The wilde beastes shall honour mee, the dragons and the ostriches, because I gaue water in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse to giue drinke to my people, euen to mine elect.
43:21This people haue I formed for my selfe: they shall shewe foorth my praise.
43:22And thou hast not called vpon mee, O Iaakob, but thou hast wearied me, O Israel.
43:23Thou hast not brought me the sheepe of thy burnt offrings, neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I haue not caused thee to serue with an offring, nor wearied thee with incense.
43:24Thou boughtest mee no sweete sauour with money, neither hast thou made mee drunke with the fatte of thy sacrifices, but thou hast made mee to serue with thy sinnes, and wearied mee with thine iniquities.
43:25I, euen I am he that putteth away thine iniquities for mine owne sake, and will not remember thy sinnes.
43:26Put me in remembrance: let vs be iudged together: count thou that thou maist be iustified.
43:27Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers haue transgressed against me.
43:28Therefore I haue prophaned the rulers of the Sanctuarie, and haue made Iaakob a curse, and Israel a reproche.
