| 43:1 | But nowe, the Lorde that made the O Iacob, and he that fashyoned the: O Israel, sayeth thus: Feare not, for I haue redemed the. I haue called the by name: thou art myne awne. |
| 43:2 | Yf thou goest thorow the water, I wilbe with the, that the stronge floudes shulde not pluck the awaye. And yf thou walckest thorowe the fyre, it shall not burne the, and the flame shall not kyndle vpon the. |
| 43:3 | For I am the Lord thy God the holy one of Israel, thy Sauioure. I gaue Egypte for thy deliueraunce, the Morians & the Sabees for the: |
| 43:4 | because thou wast deare in my syght, and because I set by the, and loued the. I wyll geue ouer all men for the, and delyuer vp all people for thy sake, |
| 43:5 | feare not: for I am with the. I wyll bringe thy sede from the East, and gather the together from the west. |
| 43:6 | I wyll saye to the North, lett go. And to the South, kepe not backe: but bring me my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the endes of the worlde. |
| 43:7 | Namely, all those that be called after my name. For them haue I created, fashyoned, & made for myne honour. |
| 43:8 | Bringe forth that people, which is blinde & yet hath eyes, which are deafe although they haue eares. |
| 43:9 | If all nacions come in one and be gathered together, which amonge them shall declare soche thynges, and tell vs what is to come? Let them brynge theyr witnesse so shall they be fre: els, let them heare, and saye, it is truth. |
| 43:10 | You are my witnesses (sayth the Lorde) and my seruaunt, whom I haue chosen: therfore be certified and geue me faithfull credence: and consydre, that I am he, before whom there was neuer any God, and that ther shalbe none after me. |
| 43:11 | I am euen, I am the only Lorde and beside me ther is no Sauioure. |
| 43:12 | I gaue warninge, I made whole I taught you when there was no straunge God amonge you. And this recorde must ye beare me youre selues, (sayth the Lord) that I am God. |
| 43:13 | And euen he am I from the begynnynge, and there is none that can take any thynge out of my hande. I do the worke and who shall be able to let it. |
| 43:14 | Thus sayeth the Lorde the holy one of Israel youre redemer: for youre sake I haue sent to Babylon, and brought downe the strongest of them. All they are fugityue with the Chaldees that boost them of theyr shyppes: |
| 43:15 | Euen I the Lorde youre holy one which haue made Israel, and am youre kynge. |
| 43:16 | Thus sayeth the Lorde (euen he that maketh a waye in the see, & a footpath in the myghty waters:) |
| 43:17 | which bringeth forth the charettes & horses, the hoste & the power of warre, that they may fall and neuer ryse, and be extincte, lyke as towe is quenched. |
| 43:18 | Remembre not thynges of olde, and regarde nothinge that is past. |
| 43:19 | Beholde I shall make a newe thynge, and shortly shall it appeare, & shall you not knowe it? I wyll make stretes in the deserte, and ryuers of water in the wyldernes: |
| 43:20 | The wylde beastes shall worshyppe me: the dragons, and the yonge Estriches. For I shall geue water in the wyldernes, and streames in the desert: that may geue drincke to my people, whom I chose. |
| 43:21 | Thys people haue I made for my self, and they shall shewe forth my prayse. |
| 43:22 | For thou (Iacob) woldest not call vpon me, but thou haddest an vnlust towarde me, O Israel. |
| 43:23 | Thou gauest me not thy beastes for burntofferinges nether dydest honour me with thy sacrifyces. Thou boughtest me no deare spyce with thy money, nether pouredest the fat of thy sacrifyces vpon me. Howbeit I haue not bene chargeable vnto the in offeringes, nether greuous in incense. |
| 43:24 | But thou hast laden me with thy synnes, & weryed me with thyne vngodlynes. |
| 43:25 | Where as I yet, euen I am he onely, that for myne awne selfes sake do awaye thyne offences, and forget thy synnes: so that I will neuer thincke vpon them. |
| 43:26 | Put me now in remembraunce (for we wyll reason together) and shewe what thou hast for the, to make the ryghteous. |
| 43:27 | Thy fyrst father offended sore, and thy rulers haue synned agaynst me. |
| 43:28 | Therfore I ether suspended, or slue the chefest prynces. I dyd curse Iacob, and gaue Israel into reprofe. |
| 43:1 | And now the Lord God, makynge of nouyt thee, Jacob, and formynge thee, Israel, seith these thingis, Nyle thou drede, for Y ayenbouyte thee, and Y clepide thee bi thi name; thou art my seruaunt. |
| 43:2 | Whanne thou schalt go bi watris, Y schal be with thee, and floodis schulen not hile thee; whanne thou schalt go in fier, thou schalt not be brent, and flawme schal not brenne in thee. |

| 43:6 | Y schal seie to the north, Yyue thou, and to the south, Nyle thou forbede; brynge thou my sones fro afer, and my douytris fro the laste partis of erthe. |
| 43:7 | And ech that clepith my name to help, in to my glorie Y made hym of nouyt; Y fourmyde hym, and made hym. |
| 43:8 | Lede thou forth the blynde puple, and hauynge iyen; the deef puple, and eeris ben to it. |
| 43:9 | Alle hethene men ben gaderid togidere, and lynagis be gaderid togidere. Who among you, who schal telle this, and schal make you to here tho thingis, that ben the firste? yyue thei witnessis of hem, and be thei iustified, and here thei, and seie. |
| 43:10 | Verili ye ben my witnessis, seith the Lord, and my seruaunt, whom Y chees; that ye wite, and bileue to me, and vndurstonde, for Y mysilf am; bifore me is no God formere, and after me schal noon be. |
| 43:11 | Y am, Y am the Lord, and with out me is no sauyour. |
| 43:12 | I telde, and sauyde; Y made heryng, and noon alien God was among you. Ye ben my witnessis, seith the Lord; |
| 43:13 | and Y am God fro the bigynnyng, Y my silf am, and noon is that delyuerith fro myn hoond; Y schal worche, and who schal distrie it? |
| 43:14 | The Lord, youre ayenbiere, the hooli of Israel, seith these thingis, For you Y sente out in to Babiloyne, and Y drow doun alle barris, and Caldeis hauynge glorie in her schippis. |
| 43:15 | Y am the Lord, youre hooli, youre king, makynge Israel of nouyt. |
| 43:16 | The Lord seith these thingis, that yaf weie in the see, and a path in rennynge watris; |
| 43:17 | which ledde out a carte, and hors, a cumpany, and strong man; thei slepten togidere, nether thei schulen rise ayen; thei ben al tobrokun as flex, and ben quenchid. |
| 43:18 | Thenke ye not on the formere thingis, and biholde ye not olde thingis. |
| 43:19 | Lo! Y make newe thingis, and now tho schulen bigynne to be maad; sotheli ye schulen know tho. Y schal sette weie in desert, and floodis in a lond without weie. |
| 43:20 | And a beeste of the feelde schal glorifie me, dragouns and ostrigis schulen glorifie me; for Y yaf watris in desert, and floodis in the lond without weie, that Y schulde yyue drynk to my puple, to my chosun puple. |

| 43:22 | Jacob, thou clepidist not me to help; and thou, Israel, trauelidist not for me. |
| 43:23 | Thou offridist not to me the ram of thi brent sacrifice, and thou glorifiedist not me with thi slayn sacrifices. Y made not thee to serue in offryng, nethir Y yaf to thee trauel in encense. |
| 43:24 | Thou bouytist not to me swete smellynge spicerie for siluer, and thou fillidist not me with fatnesse of thi slayn sacrifices; netheles thou madist me to serue in thi synnes, thou yauest trauel to me in thi wickidnessis. |
| 43:25 | Y am, Y my silf am, that do awei thi wickidnessis for me, and Y schal not haue mynde on thy synnes. |
| 43:26 | Brynge me ayen in to mynde, and be we demyd togidere; telle thou, if thou hast ony thing, that thou be iustified. |
| 43:27 | Thi firste fadir synnede, and thin interpretours trespassiden ayens me. |
| 43:28 | And Y made foul hooli princes, and Y yaf Jacob to deth, and Israel in to blasfemye. |

| 43:19 | Therfore beholde, I shal make a new thinge, and shortly shall it apeare: Ye shall well knowe it, I tolde it you afore, but I will tell it you agaane. I will make stretes in the deserte, and ryuers of water in the wildernesse. |
