Isaiah - Chapter: 45


45:1	Thus saith the Lord to his Anointed, to Cyrus whose right hande I haue holden, to subdue nations before him: and I will loose the loines of kings to open before him the two leaued gates, and the gates shall not be shut.
45:2	I will goe before thee, and make the crooked places straight, I wil break in pieces the gates of brasse, and cut in sunder the barres of yron.
45:3	And I will giue thee the treasures of darkenesse, & hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know, that I the Lord which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
45:4	For Iacob my seruants sake, and Israel mine elect, I haue euen called thee by thy name: I haue surnamed thee, though thou hast not knowen me.
45:5	I am the Lord, and there is none els, there is no God besides me: I girded thee, though thou hast not knowen me:
45:6	That they may knowe from the rising of the Sun, and from the West, that there is none besides me, I am the Lord, and there is none else.
45:7	I forme the light, and create darkenesse: I make peace, and create euill: I the Lord do all these things.
45:8	Drop downe, ye heauens, from aboue, and let the skies powre downe righteousnesse: let the earth open, and let them bring forth saluation, and let righteousnesse spring vp together: I the Lord haue created it.
45:9	Woe vnto him that striueth with his maker: Let the potsheard striue with the potsheards of the earth: shal the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy worke, he hath no hands?
45:10	Woe vnto him that saith vnto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
45:11	Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his maker, Aske me of things to come concerning my sonnes, and concerning the worke of my hands command ye me.
45:12	I haue made the earth, and created man vpon it: I, euen my handes haue stretched out the heauens, and all their hoste haue I commanded.
45:13	I haue raised him vp in righteousnesse, and I will direct all his wayes: he shall build my citie, and hee shall let goe my captiues, not for price nor reward, saith the Lord of hosts.
45:14	Thus saith the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of stature shall come ouer vnto thee, and they shall be thine, they shall come after thee, in chaines they shall come ouer: and they shal fall downe vnto thee, they shal make supplication vnto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee, and there is none else, there is no god.
45:15	Uerely thou art a God that hidest thy selfe, O God of Israel the Sauiour.
45:16	They shall be ashamed, and also confounded all of them: they shall goe to confusion together that are makers of idoles.
45:17	But Israel shall bee saued in the Lord with an euerlasting saluation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
45:18	For thus saith the Lord that created the heauens, God himselfe that formed the earth and made it, hee hath established it, he created it not in vaine, he formed it to be inhabited, I am the Lord, and there is none else.
45:19	I haue not spoken in secret, in a darke place of the earth: I said not vnto the seed of Iacob, Seeke ye mee in vaine: I the Lord speake righteousnesse, I declare things that are right.
45:20	Assemble your selues and come: draw neere together ye that are escaped of the nations: they haue no knowledge that set vp the wood of their grauen image, and pray vnto a god that cannot saue.
45:21	Tell ye and bring them neere, yea let them take counsell together, who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? Haue not I the Lord ? and there is no God else beside me, a iust God and a Sauiour, there is none beside me.
45:22	Looke vnto mee, and be ye saued all the endes of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
45:23	I haue sworne by my selfe: the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousnes, and shall not returne, that vnto me euery knee shall bowe, euery tongue shall sweare.
45:24	Surely, shall one say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: euen to him shall men come, and all that are incensed against him, shalbe ashamed.
45:25	In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be iustified, and shall glory.


45:1	Thus saith the Lorde vnto Cyrus his annointed, who I haue taken by the right hande, to subdue nations before hym: I wyl loose the loynes of kinges, and I wyl open the gates before his face, and the gates shall not be shut
45:2	I wyll go before thee, and make the crooked straigth: I shall breake the brasen doores, and burst the iron barres
45:3	I shall geue thee hid treasures and the thing whiche is secretly kept: that thou mayest know that I am the Lord God of Israel, whiche haue called thee by thy name
45:4	For Iacob my seruauntes sake, and for Israel my chosen, I called thee by thy name, and ordayned thee or euer thou knewest me
45:5	I am the Lord, and there is none other, for without me there is no God: I haue prepared thee or euer thou knewest me
45:6	Therfore they shall knowe from the rising of the sunne, vnto the goyng downe of the same, that all is nothing without me: for I am the Lorde, and there is els none
45:7	It is I that created light and darknesse, I make peace and trouble: yea euen I the Lorde do all these thinges
45:8	Ye heauens from aboue drop downe, and let the cloudes rayne righteousnesse: the earth open it selfe, let saluation and righteousnesse growe foorth, let it bryng them foorth together: I the Lorde haue created him
45:9	Wo be vnto hym that striueth with his maker, let the potsherde striue with the potsherdes of the earth: Saieth the clay to the potter, What makest thou? or, thy worke is not perfectly done
45:10	Wo be vnto hym that saieth to his father, what begettest thou? and to his mother, what bearest thou
45:11	Thus saith the Lorde, euen the holy one and maker of Israel: Aske me of thinges for to come concerning my sonnes, and put me in remembraunce as touching the workes of my handes
45:12	I haue made the earth, and created man vpon it: With my handes haue I spread foorth heauen, and geuen a commaundement for all the hoast thereof
45:13	I shall wake hym vp with righteousnesse, and order all his wayes: He shall buylde my citie, and let out my prisoners, and that neither for gyftes nor rewardes saith the Lorde of hoastes
45:14	Thus saith the Lorde, The occupiers of Egypt, the marchauntes of the Ethiopians and Sabees, shall come vnto thee with tribute, they shalbe thyne, they shall folowe thee, and go with chaines vpon their feete, they shall fall downe before thee, and make supplication vnto thee: for God without whom there is none other God, shalbe with thee
45:15	O howe profounde art thou O God, thou God and sauiour of Israel
45:16	Confounded are they all and put to dishonour, thei are gone hence together with shame, euen the makers of images
45:17	But Israel shalbe saued in the Lord with an euerlasting saluation: ye shall not come to shame nor confusion world without ende
45:18	For thus saith the Lorde, Euen he that created heauen, the God that made the earth & fassioned it, and set it foorth, he dyd not make it for naught, but to be inhabited, euen I the Lorde, without whom there is none other
45:19	I haue not spoken secretly, neither in darke places of the earth: I sayde not in vayne to the seede of Iacob, seeke me: I am the Lorde, whiche when I speake, do declare the thing that is righteous and true
45:20	Gather you and come together, drawe nigh hither you that escaped of the people: they haue no vnderstanding that set vp the stockes of their idols, and pray vnto a god that can not helpe them
45:21	Drawe nye, come hyther, and let them aske counsaile one at another, and shew foorth what is he that told this before? or who spake of it euer since the beginning? haue not I the Lorde done it? without whom there is none other God, the true God and sauiour, and there is els none but I
45:22	And therfore turne you vnto me, all ye endes of the earth, that ye may be saued: for I am God, and there is els none
45:23	I sweare by my self, out of my mouth commeth the worde of righteousnesse, and that may no man turne: but all knees shall bowe vnto me, and all tongues shall sweare [by my name,
45:24	Saying: veryly in the Lorde is my righteousnesse and strength, to hym shall men come: but all they that thinke scorne of him shalbe confounded
45:25	And the whole seede of Israel shalbe iustified, and glory in the Lorde

45:2	I will goe before thee and make the crooked streight: I will breake the brasen doores, and burst the yron barres.
45:3	And I will giue thee the treasures of darkenesse, and the things hid in secret places, that thou maist know that I am the Lord which call thee by thy name, euen the God of Israel.
45:4	For Iaakob my seruants sake, and Israel mine elect, I will euen call thee by thy name and name thee, though thou hast not knowen me.
45:5	I am the Lord and there is none other: there is no God besides me: I girded thee though thou hast not knowen me,

45:15	Verely thou, O God, hidest thy selfe, O God, the Sauiour of Israel.
45:16	All they shalbe ashamed and also confounded: they shall goe to confusion together, that are the makers of images.
45:17	But Israel shall be saued in the Lord, with an euerlasting saluation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded worlde without ende.
45:18	For thus saith the Lord (that created heauen, God himselfe, that formed the earth, and made it: he that prepared it, he created it not in vaine: he formed it to be inhabited) I am the Lord, and there is none other.
45:19	I haue not spoken in secrete, neither in a place of darkenes in the earth: I saide not in vaine vnto the seede of Iaakob, Seeke you me: I the Lord doe speake righteousnesse, and declare righteous things.
45:20	Assemble your selues, and come: drawe neere together, ye abiect of the Gentiles: they haue no knowledge, that set vp the wood of their idole, and pray vnto a god, that cannot saue them.
45:21	Tell ye and bring them, and let them take counsell together, who hath declared this from the beginning? or hath tolde it of olde? Haue not I the Lord? and there is none other God beside me, a iust God, and a Sauiour: there is none beside me.
45:22	Looke vnto me, and ye shall be saued: all the endes of the earth shall be saued: for I am God, and there is none other.
45:23	I haue sworne by my selfe: the worde is gone out of my mouth in righteousnesse, and shall not returne, That euery knee shall bowe vnto me, and euery tongue shall sweare by me.
45:24	Surely he shall say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: he shall come vnto him, and all that prouoke him, shall be ashamed.
45:25	The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.
