| 46:1 | Bel boweth downe, Nebo stoupeth, their idoles were vpon the beasts, and vpon the cattell: your carriages were heauie loaden, they are a burden to the wearie beast. |
| 46:2 | They stoupe, they bow downe together, they could not deliuer the burden, but themselues are gone into captiuitie. |
| 46:3 | Hearken vnto me, O house of Iacob, and al the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me, from the belly, which are caried from the wombe. |
| 46:4 | And euen to your old age I am he, and euen to hoare haires will I cary you: I haue made, and I will beare, euen I wil cary and wil deliuer you. |
| 46:5 | To whom wil ye liken me, and make me equall, and compare me, that we may be like? |
| 46:6 | They lauish gold out of the bagge, and weigh siluer in the balance, and hire a goldsmith, and hee maketh it a god: they fall downe, yea they worship. |
| 46:7 | They beare him vpon the shoulder, they cary him and set him in his place, and hee standeth; from his place shall he not remooue: yea one shall cry vnto him, yet can he not answere, nor saue him out of his trouble. |
| 46:8 | Remember this, and shew your selues men: bring it againe to minde, O ye transgressours. |
| 46:9 | Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is none else, I am God, and there is none like me, |
| 46:10 | Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsell shall stand, and I wil doe all my pleasure: |
| 46:11 | Calling a rauenous bird from the East, the man that executeth my counsell from a farre countrey; yea I haue spoken it, I will also bring it to passe, I haue purposed it, I will also doe it. |
| 46:12 | Hearken vnto me, ye stout hearted, that are farre from righteousnesse. |
| 46:13 | I bring neere my righteousnesse: it shall not bee farre off, and my saluation shall not tarie; and I wil place saluation in Zion for Israel my glorie. |

| 46:4 | Therefore vnto olde age, I the same, euen I will beare you vntill the hoare heares: I haue made you: I will also beare you, and I will cary you and I will deliuer you. |

| 46:6 | They draw gold out of the bagge and weigh siluer in the balance, and hire a goldsmith to make a god of it, and they bowe downe, and worship it. |

| 46:13 | I bring neere my iustice: it shall not be farre off, and my saluation shall not tarie: for I wil giue saluation in Zion, and my glory vnto Israel. |

| 46:3 | Herken vnto me, O house of Iacob, and all ye that remayne yet of the housholde of Israel: whom I haue borne from youre mothers wombe, and brought you vp from youre byrth, tyll ye were growen. |
| 46:4 | I, I, which shall beare you vnto youre last age. I haue made you, I wyll also norysh you, beare you and saue you. |
| 46:5 | Whom wyll ye make me lyke or to whom wyll ye make me equall or compare me that I shulde be lyke hym, in fashyon or ymage, that I maye be lyke him? |
| 46:6 | Ye fooles (no doute) wyll take out syluer & golde oute of youre purses, and wepe it, & hyre a goldsmyth to make a God of it, that men maye knele downe and worshyppe it. |
| 46:7 | Yet must he be taken on mennes shoulders & borne, and set in his place, that he maye stande and not moue out of his place. Alas, that men shuld crye crie vnto him which geueth no answere: and delyuereth not the man that calleth vpon him, from hys trouble: |
| 46:8 | Consydre this well, and be ashamed. Go into youre awne selues (O ye runnagates.) |
| 46:9 | Remembre the thynges which are past, sence the begynninge of the worlde: that I am God & that there is els no God, yee, & that there is nothinge, lyke vnto me. |
| 46:10 | In the begynnynge of a thynge. I shewe the ende therof: & I tell before, thinges that are not yet come to passe. My deuice stondeth, stedfastly stablyshed, & I fulfyll all my pleasure. |
| 46:11 | I call a byrde out of the East, & the man by whom my councell shall be fulfylled out of farre countrees, as soone as I thyncke to deuise a thynge, I do it. |
| 46:12 | Heare me, O ye that are of an hye stomacke, but farre from ryghteousnesse, |
| 46:13 | I shall bringe forth my ryghteousnes. It is not farre, & my health shall not tary longe awaye. I wyll laye health in Sion, and in Israel my glory. |
