| 52:1 | Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. |
| 52:2 | Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. |
| 52:3 | For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. |
| 52:4 | For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. |
| 52:5 | Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. |
| 52:6 | Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. |
| 52:7 | How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! |
| 52:8 | Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. |
| 52:9 | Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. |
| 52:10 | The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. |
| 52:11 | Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. |
| 52:12 | For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward. |
| 52:13 | Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. |
| 52:14 | As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: |
| 52:15 | So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. |

| 52:7 | מה נאוו על ההרים רגלי מבשׂר משׁמיע שׁלום מבשׂר טוב משׁמיע ישׁועה אמר לציון מלך אלהיך׃ |
| 52:8 | קול צפיך נשׂאו קול יחדו ירננו כי עין בעין יראו בשׁוב יהוה ציון׃ |
| 52:9 | פצחו רננו יחדו חרבות ירושׁלם כי נחם יהוה עמו גאל ירושׁלם׃ |
| 52:10 | חשׂף יהוה את זרוע קדשׁו לעיני כל הגוים וראו כל אפסי ארץ את ישׁועת אלהינו׃ |
| 52:11 | סורו סורו צאו משׁם טמא אל תגעו צאו מתוכה הברו נשׂאי כלי יהוה׃ |
| 52:12 | כי לא בחפזון תצאו ובמנוסה לא תלכון כי הלך לפניכם יהוה ומאספכם אלהי ישׂראל׃ |
| 52:13 | הנה ישׂכיל עבדי ירום ונשׂא וגבה מאד׃ |
| 52:14 | כאשׁר שׁממו עליך רבים כן משׁחת מאישׁ מראהו ותארו מבני אדם׃ |
| 52:15 | כן יזה גוים רבים עליו יקפצו מלכים פיהם כי אשׁר לא ספר להם ראו ואשׁר לא שׁמעו התבוננו׃ |

| 52:3 | For thus said Jehovah: `For nought ye have been sold, And not by money are ye redeemed.' |
| 52:4 | For thus said the Lord Jehovah: `To Egypt My people went down at first to sojourn there, And Asshur -- for nought he hath oppressed it. |
| 52:5 | And now, what -- to Me here, An affirmation of Jehovah, That taken is My people for nought? Its rulers cause howling, -- an affirmation of Jehovah, And continually all the day My name is despised. |
| 52:6 | Therefore doth My people know My name, Therefore, in that day, Surely I `am' He who is speaking, behold Me.' |
| 52:7 | How comely on the mountains, Have been the feet of one proclaiming tidings, Sounding peace, proclaiming good tidings, Sounding salvation, Saying to Zion, `Reigned hath thy God.' |
| 52:8 | The voice of thy watchmen! They have lifted up the voice, together they cry aloud, Because eye to eye they see, in Jehovah's turning back `to' Zion. |
| 52:9 | Break forth, sing together, O wastes of Jerusalem, For Jehovah hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem. |
| 52:10 | Jehovah hath made bare His holy arm Before the eyes of all the nations, And seen have all the ends of the earth, The salvation of our God. |
| 52:11 | Turn aside, turn aside, go out thence, The unclean touch not, go out from her midst, Be ye pure, who are bearing the weapons of Jehovah. |
| 52:12 | For not in haste do ye go out, Yea, with flight ye go not on, For going before you `is' Jehovah, And gathering you `is' the God of Israel! |
| 52:13 | Lo, My servant doth act wisely, He is high, and hath been lifted up, And hath been very high. |
| 52:14 | As astonished at thee have been many, (So marred by man his appearance, And his form by sons of men.) |
| 52:15 | So doth he sprinkle many nations. Concerning him kings shut their mouth, For that which was not recounted to them they have seen, And that which they had not heard they have understood! |
