Ezekiel - Chapter: 35

>
35:1Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto mee, saying;
35:2Sonne of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophecie against it,
35:3And say vnto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
35:4I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
35:5Because thou hast had a perpetuall hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamitie, in the time that their iniquitie had an end;
35:6Therefore, as I liue, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee vnto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, euen blood shall pursue thee.
35:7Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out, & him that returneth.
35:8And I will fill his mountaines with his slaine men: in thy hilles, and in thy valleis, and in all thy riuers shall they fall that are slaine with the sword.
35:9I will make thee perpetuall desolations, & thy cities shall not returne, and ye shal know that I am the Lord
35:10Because thou hast said; These two nations, and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possesse it, whereas the Lord was there:
35:11Therefore, as I liue, saith the Lord God, I will euen doe according to thine anger, and according to thine enuie, which thou hast vsed out of thy hatred against them: and I will make my selfe knowen amongst them, when I haue iudged thee.
35:12And thou shalt know, that I am the Lord, and that I haue heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying; They are layed desolate, they are giuen vs to consume.
35:13Thus with your mouth yee haue boasted against me, & haue multiplied your words against me: I haue heard them.
35:14Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth reioyceth, I will make thee desolate.
35:15As thou didst reioyce at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I doe vnto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, euen all of it, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

35:1Moreouer, the worde of the Lorde came vnto me, saying
35:2Thou sonne of man, set thy face toward the mount Seir, prophecie against it
35:3And say vnto it, thus saith the Lorde God: Beholde O thou mount Seir, I wyll vpon thee, I wyll reache out my hande ouer thee, yea waste and desolate wyll I make thee
35:4Thy cities wyll I laye waste, & thou shalt lye voyde, that thou mayst knowe howe that I am the Lorde
35:5Forsomuch as thou bearest an olde enmitie, and hast put the children of Israel to flight by the force of the sworde, in the time of their calamitie, when their iniquitie had an ende
35:6Therefore as truely as I lyue, saith the Lorde God, I wyll prepare thee vnto blood, yea blood shall folowe vpon thee, except thou hate blood, euen blood shall persecute thee
35:7Thus wyll I make the mount Seir desolate and waste, and cut out from it him that passeth out, and him that returneth
35:8His mountaines wyll I fill with his slaine men, thy hils, valleys, and al thy riuers, the slaine with the sworde shall fall in them
35:9I wyll make thee a perpetuall wildernes, so that thy cities shal not returne: that ye may knowe that I am the Lorde
35:10And because thou hast saide, both these nations, and both these landes must be myne, and we wyll haue them in possession, whereas the Lorde was there
35:11Therefore as truely as I lyue saith the Lorde God, I wyll euen do according to thy wrath, and according to thyne enuiyng which thou hast vsed in thyne hatred against them: and I wyll make my selfe knowen amongst them when I haue iudged thee
35:12Yea and thou shalt knowe that I the Lorde haue heard all thy blasphemies, whiche thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying, They are made waste, & geuen vs to deuour
35:13Thus with your mouthes ye haue made your boastes against me, yea and multiplied your wordes against me, which I haue heard
35:14Thus saith the Lord God: To the ioy of all the worlde wyll I make thee waste
35:15And lyke as thou wast glad because the heritage of the house of Israel was destroyed, euen so wyll I do vnto thee: thou shalt be destroyed O mount Seir, and all Idumea wholly, and they shall knowe that I am the Lorde

35:1Moveover the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
35:2Sonne of man, Set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesie against it,
35:3And say vnto it, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, O mount Seir, I come against thee, and I wil stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste.
35:4I wil lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord.
35:5Because thou hast had a perpetuall hatred and hast put the children of Israel to flight by the force of the sword in the time of their calamitie, when their iniquitie had an ende,
35:6Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil prepare thee vnto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: except thou hate blood, euen blood shall pursue thee.
35:7Thus will I make mount Seir desolate and waste, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
35:8And I will fill his mountaines with his slayne men: in thine hilles, and in thy valleys and in all thy riuers shall they fall, that are slayne with the sworde.
35:9I wil make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not returne, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.
35:10Because thou hast said, These two nations, and these two countreys shalbe mine, and we wil possesse them (seeing the Lord was there)
35:11Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil euen do according to thy wrath, and according to thine indignation which thou hast vsed in thine hatred against them: and I wil make my selfe knowen among them whe I haue iudged thee.
35:12And thou shalt know, that I the Lord haue heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying, They lye waste, they are giuen vs to be deuoured.
35:13Thus with your mouthes ye haue boasted against me, and haue multiplied your words against me: I haue heard them.
35:14Thus sayth the Lord God, So shall all the world reioyce when I shall make thee desolate.
35:15As thou diddest reioyce at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I doe vnto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea wholly, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
