Ezekiel - Chapter: 35

>
35:1Moreouer, the worde of the Lorde came vnto me, saying.
35:2Thou sonne of man, turne thy face towarde the mount Seyr, prophecye vpon it,
35:3& saye vnto it. Thus sayeth the Lord God: Beholde (O thou mount Seyr) I wyll vpon the, I wyll reach out myne hande ouer the, yee, waste and desolate wil I make the.
35:4Thy cities will I breake downe, and thou shalt lye voyde: that thou mayst knowe, how that I am the Lorde.
35:5For so moch as thou bearest an olde enemyte agaynst the chyldren of Israel, and hast drawne the chylderne of Israell vpon the swerde, what tyme as they were troubled and punished for their synne:
35:6Therfore, as truly as I lyue, sayeth the Lord God, I will prepare the vnto bloude, yee, bloude shall folow vpon the: seinge thou layest wayte for bloude, therfore shall bloude persecute the.
35:7Thus will I make the mount Seir desolate and waste, and bringe to passe, that there shall no man goo thyther, ner come from thence.
35:8His mountaynes will I fyll with his slayne men: thy hilles, valleys and ryuers, shall lye full of them, that are slayne with the swearde.
35:9I will make the a perpetuall wildernesse, so that thy cityes shall not returne to their former estate that ye maye knowe, how that I am the Lorde.
35:10And because thou hast sayde: what, both these nacions and both these landes must be myne, & I will haue them in possession where as the Lorde was there. Therfore, thus sayeth the Lord God:
35:11As truly as I lyue, I will handle the accordinge to thy wrath and gelousy, lyke as thou hast dealt cruelly wt them, that I maye be knowen among them, how I haue punished the.
35:12Yee, and that thou also mayest be sure, that I the Lorde haue herde al thy despyteful wordes, which thou hast spoken agaynst the mountaynes of Israell, sayinge: Lo, they are made waste, and geuen vs to deuoure.
35:13Thus with your mouthes ye haue made youre boast agaynst me, yee, and multiplied your proude wordes agaynst me, which I haue herde altogether.
35:14Where vnto, thus sayeth the Lord God: to the ioye of all the worlde will I make the waste.
35:15And lyke as thou (O mount Seyr) wast glad, because the heritage of the house of Israel was destroyed: euen so wyll I do vnto the also, that thou and whole Edom shal be destroyed, & knowe, that I am the Lorde.

35:1And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
35:2and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the hil of Seir; and thou schalt profesie to it, and thou schalt seie to it,
35:3The Lord God seith these thingis, Thou hil of Seir, lo! Y to thee; Y schal stretche forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal yyue thee desolat and forsakun.
35:4Y schal distrie thi citees, and thou schalt be forsakun; and thou schalt wite, that Y am the Lord.
35:5For thou were an enemye euerlastynge, and closidist togidere the sonis of Israel in to the hondis of swerd, in the tyme of her turment, in the tyme of the laste wickidnesse;
35:6therfor Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for Y schal yyue thee to blood, and blood schal pursue thee; and sithen thou hatidist blood, blood schal pursue thee.
35:7And Y schal yyue the hil of Seir desolat and forsakun, and Y schal take awei fro it a goere and a comere ayen;
35:8and Y schal fille the hillis therof with the careyns of her slayn men. Men slayn by swerd schulen falle doun in thi litle hillis, and in thi valeys, and in thi strondis.
35:9Y schal yyue thee in to euerlastynge wildirnessis, and thi citees schulen not be enhabitid; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God.
35:10For thou seidist, Twei folkis and twei londis schulen be myne, and Y schal welde tho bi eritage, whanne the Lord was there;
35:11therfor Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for Y schal do bi thi wraththe, and bi thin enuye, which thou didist, hatinge hem, and Y schal be made knowun bi hem, whanne Y schal deme thee;
35:12and thou schalt wite, that Y am the Lord. Y herde alle thi schenschipis, whiche thou spakist of the hillis of Israel, and seidist, The hillis of Israel ben forsakun, and ben youun to vs, for to deuoure.
35:13And ye han rise on me with youre mouth, and ye han deprauyd ayens me; Y herde youre wordis.
35:14The Lord God seith these thingis, While al the lond is glad, Y schal turne thee in to wildernesse.
35:15As thou haddist ioie on the eritage of the hous of Israel, for it was distried, so Y schal do to thee; the hil of Seir schal be distried, and al Ydumee; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.

35:1Morouer, the worde of the LORDE came vnto me, sayenge:
35:2Thou sonne of man, turne thy face towarde the mount Seir, prophecy vpon it,
35:3& saye vnto it: Thus saieth the LORDE God: Beholde, (o thou mount Seir) I will vpon the, I will reach out myne hode ouer the, yee waist & desolate wil I make the.
35:4Thy cities wil I breake downe, & thou shalt lye voyde: that thou mayest knowe, how that I am the LORDE.
35:5For so moch as thou bearest an olde enemyte agaynst the children of Israel, & with a cruel honde hast made them afrayed, what tyme as they were troubled & punyshed for their synne:
35:6Therfore, as truly as I lyue (saieth ye LORDE God) I wil prepare the vnto bloude, yee bloude shal folowe vpon the: seinge thou layest waite for bloude, therfore shall bloude persecute the.
35:7Thus wil I make the mount Seir desolate & waist, and bringe to passe, that there shall no man go thither, ner come from thence.
35:8His mountaynes wil I fyll wt his slayne men: thy hilles, dales and valleys shal lye full of them, that are slayne with ye swearde.
35:9I wil make the a perpetuall wildernesse, so that noman shal dwell in thy cities: yt ye maye knowe, how yt I am the LORDE.
35:10And because thou hast sayde: what, both these nacions and both these londes must be myne, & I wil haue them in possession, where as the LORDE was there. Therfore, thus saieth the LORDE God:
35:11As truly as I lyue, I will hadle the acordinge to thy wrath and gelousy, like as thou hast dealt cruelly with them: that I maye be knowne amoge them, how I haue punyshed the
35:12Yee and that thou also mayest be sure, that I the LORDE haue herde all thy despyteful wordes, which thou hast spoke agaynst the mountaynes of Israel, sayenge: Lo, they are made waist, and geuen vs to deuoure.
35:13Thus with youre mouthes ye haue made youre boost agaynst me, yee & multiplied youre proude wordes agaynst me, which I haue herde altogether.
35:14Where vnto, thus saieth ye LORDE God: when the whole worlde is in wealth, then wil I make the waist.
35:15And like as thou (o mount Seir) wast glad, because the heretage of the house of Israel was destroyed: euen so wil I do vnto the also, that thou and whole Edom shall be destroyed, & knowe, that I am the LORDE.
