>
3:1For lo! in tho daies, and in that tyme, whanne Y schal turne the caitifte of Juda and of Jerusalem,
3:2Y schal gadere alle folkis, and Y schal lede hem in to the valei of Josephat; and Y schal dispute there with hem on my puple, and myn eritage Israel, whiche thei scateriden among naciouns; and thei departiden my lond, and senten lot on my puple;
3:3and thei settiden a knaue child in the bordel hous, and seelden a damesel for wyn, that thei schulden drynke.
3:4But what to me and to you, thou Tire, and Sidon, and ech ende of Palestyns? Whethir ye schulen yelde vengyng to me? and if ye vengen you ayens me, soone swiftli Y schal yelde while to you on youre heed.
3:5Ye token awey my siluer and gold, and ye brouyten my desirable thingis and faireste thingis in to youre templis of idols.
3:6And ye selden the sones of Juda, and the sones of Jerusalem to the sones of Grekis, that ye schulden make hem fer fro her coostis.
3:7Lo! Y schal reise hem fro the place in which ye seelden hem; and Y schal turne youre yeldyng in to youre heed.
3:8And Y schal sille youre sones and youre douytris in the hondis of the sones of Juda, and thei schulen selle hem to Sabeis, a fer folc, for the Lord spak.
3:9Crye ye this thing among hethene men, halewe ye batel, reise ye stronge men; alle men werriours, neiy, and stie.
3:10Beete ye togydere youre plowis in to swerdis, and youre mattokkis in to speeris; a sijk man seie, that Y am strong.
3:11Alle folkis, breke ye out, and come fro cumpas, and be ye gaderid togidere; there the Lord schal make thi stronge men to die.
3:12Folkis rise togidere, and stie in to the valei of Josofat; for Y schal sitte there, to deme alle folkis in cumpas.
3:13Sende ye sikelis, `ether sithis, for ripe corn wexide; come ye, and go ye doun, for the pressour is ful; pressouris ben plenteuouse, for the malice of hem is multiplied.
3:14Puplis, puplis in the valei of kittyng doun; for the dai of the Lord is nyy in the valei of kittyng doun.
3:15The sunne and the moone ben maad derk, and sterris withdrowen her schynyng.
3:16And the Lord schal rore fro Sion, and schal yyue his vois fro Jerusalem, and heuenes and erthe schulen be mouyd; and the Lord is the hope of his puple, and the strengthe of the sones of Israel.
3:17And ye schulen wite, that Y am youre Lord God, dwellynge in Sion, in myn hooli hil; and Jerusalem schal be hooli, and aliens schulen no more passe bi it.
3:18And it schal be, in that dai mounteyns schulen droppe swetnesse, and litle hillis schulen flowe with mylke, and watris schulen go bi alle the ryueris of Juda; and a welle schal go out of the hous of the Lord, and schal moiste the stronde of thornes.
3:19Egipt schal be in to desolacioun, and Idume in to desert of perdicioun; for that that thei diden wickidli ayens the sones of Juda, and schedden out innocent blood in her lond.
3:20And Judee schal be enhabited with outen ende, and Jerusalem in to generacioun and in to generacioun.
3:21And Y schal clense the blood of hem, which Y hadde not clensid; and the Lord schal dwelle in Syon.

3:2I shal gather all people together, & brynge the in to the valley of Iosaphat: and there wil I reason with the, because of my people & heretage of Israel: who they haue scatred aboute in the nacions, & parted my lode:
3:3yee they haue cast lottes for my people, the yonge me haue they set in the brodel house, & solde the Damsels for wyne, yt they might haue to drike.
3:4Thou Tirus and Sido and all ye borders of the Philistynes: what haue ye to do with me? Will ye defye me? well: yf ye will nedes defye me, I shall recopence you, euen vpon youre heade, & yt right shortly:
3:5for ye haue take awaye my syluer & golde, my fayre & goodly Iewels, & brought them in to youre gods houses.
3:6The children also of Iuda and Ierusalem haue ye solde vnto the Grekes, that ye might brynge the farre fro ye borders of their owne countrees.
3:7Beholde therfore: I will rayse them out of the place, where ye haue solde them, & will rewarde you euen vpon youre heade.
3:8Youre sonnes & youre doughters will I sell thorow the hondes of the childre of Iuda, & so they shal geue them forth to sell, vnto the of Saba, a people of a farre coutre: for the LORDE himself hath sayde it.
3:9Crie out these thinges amonge the Gentiles, proclame warre, wake vp the giauntes, let them drawe nye, let the come vp all the lusty warryours of the.
3:10Make you sweardes of youre ploweshares, and speares of youre syckles & sythes. Let ye weake man saye: I am stronge.
3:11Mustre you, and come, all ye Heithe roude aboute: gather you together, there shall the LORDE laye all thy giauntes to the grounde.
3:12Let the people aryse, and get them to the valley of Iosaphat: for there wil I syt, and iudge all Heithe roude aboute.
3:13Laye to youre sythes, for the haruest is rype: come, get you downe: the wynepresse is full, yee the wynepresses runne ouer, for their wickednesse is waxen greate.
3:14In the valley appoynted, there shalbe many, many people: for the daye of the LORDE is nye in ye valley appoynted.
3:15The Sonne and Moone shall be darckened, & the starres shal withdrawe their light.
3:16The LORDE shal roare out of Sion, & crie out of Ierusale, that the heauens & the earth shal quake withall. But the LORDE shal be a defence vnto his owne people, ad a refuge for the childre of Israel.
3:17Thus shal ye knowe, yt I the LORDE youre God dwell vpo my holy mount of Sion. Then shal Ierusale be holy, & there shal no straungers go thorow her eny more.
3:18Then shal the moutaynes droppe swete wyne, & the hylles shall flowe with mylcke, All the ryuers of Iuda shal haue water ynough, & out of the LORDES house, there shal flowe a sprynge, to water ye broke of Sitim:
3:19but Egipte shalbe layed waist, & Edo shal be desolate: because they haue dealte so cruelly with the childre of Iuda, and shed innocent bloude in their londe.
3:20Agayne, Iuda shalbe inhabited for euermore, & Ierusale from generacion to generacio:
3:21for I wil not leaue their bloude vnauenged. And the LORDE shal dwell in Sion.
