| 4:1 | And in the laste of daies the hil of the hous of the Lord schal be maad redi in the cop of hillis, and hiy ouer smale hillis. And puplis schulen flete to him, and many puplis schulen haaste, |
| 4:2 | and shulen seie, Come ye, stie we til to the hil of the Lord, and to the hous of God of Jacob; and he schal teche vs of hise weies, and we schulen go in hise pathis. For lawe schal go out fro Syon, and the word of the Lord fro Jerusalem; |
| 4:3 | and he schal deme bitwixe many puplis, and schal chastise stronge folkis til in to fer. And thei schulen bete togidere her swerdis in to scharis, and her speris in to picoisis; a folc schal not take swerd ayens folc, and thei schulen no more lerne for to fiyte. |
| 4:4 | And a man schal sitte vndur his vyneyerd, and vndur his fige tree; and ther schal not be that schal make aferd, for the mouth of the Lord of oostis spak. |
| 4:5 | For alle puplis schulen go, ech man in the name of his Lord God; but we schulen walke in the name of oure Lord God in to the world, and ouer. |
| 4:6 | In that dai, seith the Lord, Y schal gadere the haltynge, and Y schal gadere hir that Y castide awei, and whom Y turmentide Y schal coumforte. |
| 4:7 | And Y schal putte the haltynge in to relifs, ether remenauntis, and hir that trauelide, in a strong folc. And the Lord schal regne on hem in the hil of Sion, fro this now and til in to with outen ende. |
| 4:8 | And thou, `derk tour of the floc of the douyter of Sion, `til to thee he schal come, and the first power schal come, the rewme of the douytir of Jerusalem. |
| 4:9 | Now whi art thou drawun togidere with mournyng? whether a kyng is not to thee, ether thi counselour perischide? for sorowe hath take thee, as a womman trauelinge of child. |
| 4:10 | Thou douyter of Sion, make sorewe, and haaste, as a womman trauelynge of child; for now thou schalt go out of the citee, and schalt dwelle in cuntree, and schalt come `til to Babiloyne; there thou schalt be delyuered, there the Lord schal ayen bie thee, fro the hond of thin enemyes. |
| 4:11 | And now many folkis ben gaderid on thee, whiche seien, Be it stonyd, and oure iye biholde in to Sion. |
| 4:12 | Forsothe thei knewen not the thouytis of the Lord, and vndurstoden not the councel of hym, for he gaderide hem as the hei of feeld. |
| 4:13 | Rise thou, douyter of Sion, and threische, for Y schal putte thin horn of irun, and Y schal putte thi nailis brasun; and thou schalt make lesse, ether waste, many puplis, and schalt sle to the Lord the raueyns of hem, and the strengthe of hem to the Lord of al erthe. |

| 4:1 | But in the latter dayes it wil come to passe, that the hill off the LORDES house shalbe set vp hyer the eny moutaynes or hilles: Yee the people shall preese vnto it, |
| 4:2 | and the multitude off the Gentiles shal haist them thither, sayege: Come, let vs go vp to the hill of the LORDE, & to the house of the God of Iacob: that he maye teach vs his waye, and that we maye walke in his pathes. For the lawe shall come out off Sion, ad the worde of God from Ierusalem, |
| 4:3 | and shall geue sentence amonge the multitude off the Heithen, and refourme the people off farre coutrees: so that of their swerdes they shal make plowshares, and sythes off their speares. One people shall not lift vp a swerde agaynst another, yee they shall nomore lerne to fight: |
| 4:4 | but euery man shal syt vnder his vinyarde and vnder his fyge tre, and no man to fraye him awaye: for the mouth off ye LORDE of hoostes hath spoken it. |
| 4:5 | Therfore, where as all people haue walked euery man in ye name of his owne god, we will walke in the name of oure God for euer and euer. |
| 4:6 | At the same tyme (sayeth the LORDE) will I gather vp the lame and the outcastes, and soch as I haue chastened: |
| 4:7 | and will geue yssue vnto the lame, and make of ye outcastes a greate people: and the LORDE himself shal be their kynge vpon the mount Sion, fro this tyme forth for euermore. |
| 4:8 | And vnto the (O thou tower of Eder, thou stronge holde off the doughter Sion) vnto the shal it come: eue the first lordshipe and kyngdome of the doughter Ierusale. |
| 4:9 | Why the art thou now so heuy? is there no kynge in the? are thy councelers awaye that thou art so payned, as a woman in hir trauayle? |
| 4:10 | And now (o thou doughter Sion) be sory, let it greue the as a wife laboringe with childe: for now must thou get the out off the cite, and dwell vpon the playne felde: Yee vnto Babilo shalt thou go, there shalt thou be delyuered, and there the LORDE shal lowse the from the honde off thine enemies. |
| 4:11 | Now also are there many people gathered together agaynst the, sayenge: what, Sion is cursed, we shall se oure lust vpon her. |
| 4:12 | But they knowe not the thoughtes off the LORDE, they vnderstonde not his councell, that shall gather them together as the sheeues in the barne. |
| 4:13 | Therfore get the vp (o thou doughter Sion) and throsshe out the corne: For I wil make thy horne yron, and thy clawes brasse, that thou mayest grynde many people: their goodes shalt thou appropriate vnto the LORDE, and their substaunce vnto the ruler off the whole worlde. |
