| 2:1 | I lift vp mine eyes againe, and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. |
| 2:2 | Then said I, Whither goest thou? And hee said vnto me, To measure Ierusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. |
| 2:3 | And behold, the Angel that talked with me, went foorth, and another Angel went out to meete him: |
| 2:4 | And said vnto him, Run, speake to this young man, saying; Ierusalem shall be inhabited as townes without walles, for the multitude of men and cattell therein. |
| 2:5 | For I, saith the Lord, will be vnto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. |
| 2:6 | Ho, ho, come foorth, and flee from the land of the North, saith the Lord: for I haue spread you abroad as the foure windes of the heauen, sayth the Lord. |
| 2:7 | Deliuer thy selfe, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. |
| 2:8 | For thus sayth the Lord of hostes, After the glory hath he sent me vnto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye. |
| 2:9 | For behold, I will shake mine hand vpon them, and they shall bee a spoile to their seruants: and yee shall know that the Lord of hostes hath sent me. |
| 2:10 | Sing and reioyce, O daughter of Zion: for loe, I come, and I will dwell in the middest of thee, sayth the Lord. |
| 2:11 | And many nations shalbe ioyned to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwel in the middest of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto thee. |
| 2:12 | And the Lord shall inherite Iudah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Ierusalem againe. |
| 2:13 | Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised vp out of his holy habitation. |

| 2:5 | Yee I myself (saieth the LORDE) wil be vnto her a wall of fyre rounde aboute, & wilbe honoured in her. |
| 2:6 | O get you forth, O fle from the londe of ye north (saieth the LORDE) ye, whom I haue scatred in to the foure wyndes vnder heaue, saieth the LORDE. |
| 2:7 | Saue thy self, o Sion: thou that dwellest with ye doughter of Babilon, |
| 2:8 | for thus saieth the LORDE of hoostes: With a glorious power hath he sent me out to the Heithe, which spoyled you: for who so toucheth you, shal touche the aple of his owne eye. |
| 2:9 | Beholde, I will lift vp myne honde ouer them: so that they shal be spoyled of those, which afore serued them: & ye shal knowe, that the LORDE of hoostes hath sent me. |
| 2:10 | Be glad, & reioyce, o doughter of Sion: for lo, I am come to dwell in the myddest of the, saieth the LORDE. |
| 2:11 | At the same tyme there shal many Heithen cleue to the LORDE, & shal be my people. Thus wil I dwel in the myddest of the, & thou shalt knowe, that the LORDE of hoostes hath sent me vnto the. |
| 2:12 | The LORDE shall haue Iuda in possession for his parte in the holy grounde, & shal chose Ierusalem yet agayne. |
| 2:13 | Let all flesh be still before the LORDE, for he is rysen out of his holy place. |

| 2:2 | And Y seide, Whidir goist thou? And he seide to me, That Y mete Jerusalem, and Judee; hou myche is the breede therof, and hou myche is the lengthe therof. |
| 2:3 | And lo! the aungel that spak in me, wente out, and another aungel wente out in to the metyng of hym, and seide to hym, |
| 2:4 | Renne thou, speke to this child, and seie thou, Jerusalem shal be enhabitid with out wal, for the multitude of men and of beestis in the myddil therof. |
| 2:5 | And Y schal be to it, seith the Lord, a wal of fier in cumpas; and Y schal be in glorie in myddil therof. |
| 2:6 | A! A! A! fle ye fro the lond of the north, seith the Lord, for in foure wyndis of heuene Y scateride you, seith the Lord. |
| 2:7 | A! thou Sion, fle, that dwellist at the douyter of Babiloyne. |
| 2:8 | For the Lord of oostis seith these thingis, After glorie he sente me to hethene men, whiche robbiden you; for he that schal touche you, schal touche the apple of myn iye. |
| 2:9 | For lo! Y reise myn hond on hem, and thei schulen be preyes to these that seruyden hem; and ye schulen knowe, that the Lord of oostis sente me. |
| 2:10 | Douyter of Sion, herie thou, and be glad; for lo! Y come, and Y schal dwelle in myddil of thee, seith the Lord. |
| 2:11 | And many folkis schulen be applied to the Lord in that dai, and thei schulen be to me in to puple, and Y schal dwelle in myddil of thee; and thou schalt wite, that the Lord of oostis sente me to thee. |
| 2:12 | And the Lord schal welde Juda in to his part, in the loud halewid, and schal cheese yit Jerusalem. |
| 2:13 | Ech fleisch be stil fro the face of the Lord, for he roos of his hooli dwelling place. |
