8:1When he was come downe from the Mountaine, great multitudes folowed him.
8:2And behold, there came a leper, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, If thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.
8:3And Iesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will, bee thou cleane. And immediately his leprosie was cleansed.
8:4And Iesus saith vnto him, See thou tell no man, but go thy way, shew thy selfe to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimonie vnto them.
8:5And when Iesus was entred into Capernaum, there came vnto him a Centurion, beseeching him,
8:6And saying, Lord, my seruant lieth at home sicke of the palsie, grieuously tormented.
8:7And Iesus saith vnto him, I will come, and heale him.
8:8The Centurion answered, and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come vnder my roofe: but speake the word onely, and my seruant shalbe healed.
8:9For I am a man vnder authority, hauing souldiers vnder me: and I say to this man, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and he commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doth it.
8:10When Iesus heard it, he marueiled, and said to them that followed, Uerely, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, no not in Israel.
8:11And I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shal sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, & Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen:
8:12But the children of the kingdome shall be cast out into outer darkenesse: there shalbe weeping and gnashing of teeth.
8:13And Iesus said vnto the Centurion, Go thy way, and as thou hast beleeued, so be it done vnto thee. And his seruant was healed in the self same houre.
8:14And when Iesus was come into Peters house, hee saw his wiues mother laid, and sicke of a feuer:
8:15And he touched her hand, and the feuer left her: and she arose, and ministred vnto them.
8:16When the Euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils: and hee cast out the spirits with his worde, and healed all that were sicke,
8:17That it might be fulfilled which which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, Himselfe tooke our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
8:18Now when Iesus saw great multitudes about him, hee gaue commaundement to depart vnto the other side.
8:19And a certaine Scribe came, and said vnto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoeuer thou goest.
8:20And Iesus saith vnto him, The Foxes haue holes, and the birds of the ayre haue nests: but the sonne of man hath not where to lay his head.
8:21And another of his Disciples said vnto him, Lord, suffer me first to goe, and bury my father.
8:22But Iesus said vnto him, Follow me, & let the dead, bury their dead.
8:23And when he was entred into a ship, his Disciples followed him.
8:24And behold, there arose a great tempest in the Sea, insomuch that the ship was couered with the waues: but he was asleepe.
8:25And his Disciples came to him, and awoke, saying, Lord, saue vs: we perish.
8:26And he saith vnto them, Why are yee fearefull, O yee of litle faith? Then hee arose, and rebuked the winds and the Sea, and there was a great calme.
8:27But the men marueiled, saying, What maner of man is this, that euen the winds and the Sea obey him?
8:28And when hee was come to the other side, into the countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, comming out of the tombes, exceeding fierce, so that no man might passe by that way.
8:29And behold, they cryed out, saying, What haue we to doe with thee, Iesus thou sonne of God? Art thou come hither to torment vs befor ye time?
8:30And there was a good way off from them, an heard of many swine, feeding.
8:31So the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe away into the herd of swine.
8:32And he said vnto them, Goe. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and behold, the whole herd of swine ranne violently downe a steepe place into the Sea, and perished in the waters.
8:33And they that kept them, fled, and went their waies into the citie, and told euery thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the deuils.
8:34And behold, the whole citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that hee would depart out of their coasts.

8:21And another of his disciples saide vnto him, Master, suffer me first to goe, and burie my father.

8:24And beholde, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was couered with waues: but he was a sleepe.

8:28And when he was come to the other side into ye countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, which came out of the graues very fierce, so that no man might goe by that way.
8:29And beholde, they cryed out, saying, Iesus the sonne of God, what haue we to do with thee? Art thou come hither to tormet vs before ye time?
8:30Nowe there was, afarre off from them, a great heard of swine feeding.
8:31And the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe into the heard of swine.
8:32And he said vnto them, Go. So they went out and departed into the heard of swine: and beholde, the whole heard of swine ranne headlong into the sea, and died in the water.
8:33Then the heardmen fled: and when they were come into the citie, they tolde all things, and what was become of them that were possessed with the deuils.
8:34And beholde, all ye citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they sawe him, they besought him to depart out of their coastes.

8:5And when Iesus was entred into Capernaum, ther came vnto him a Centurion, and besought him,
8:6sayenge: Master, my seruaunt lyeth at home sycke of the palsye, and is greuously payned.
8:7And Iesus saith whan I come vnto hym, I wyll heale hym.
8:8The Centurion answered, & sayd: Syr, I am not worthy, that thou shuldest come vnder my rofe: but speake the word only, and my seruaunt shalbe healed.
8:9For I also my self am a man subiect to the aucthoryte of another, and haue soudyers vnder me, and I saye to thys man: go, & he goeth: and to another come, and he cometh, & to my seruaunt do this, and he doeth it.
8:10When Iesus herd these wordes, he marueled: and sayde to them that folowed him. Uerely, I saye vnto you: I haue not founde so greate fayth in Israell.
8:11I saye vnto you that many shall come from the east, and west, and shall rest with Abraham and Isaac and Iacob in the kyngdome of heauen:
8:12but the children of the kyngdome shalbe cast out into vtter darcknes: there shalbe weping and gnasshing of teth.
8:13And Iesus sayde vnto the Centurion: go thy waye, and as thou beleuest, so be it vnto the. And hys seruaunt was healed in the selfe same houre:
8:14And when Iesus was come into Peters house, he sawe hys wyues mother lyenge in bed, and sycke of a feuer.
8:15And he touched her hande, and the feuer left her: and she arose, & minystred vnto them.
8:16When the euen drue on, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils. And he cast out the spretes with a worde, and healed all that were sycke,
8:17that it myght be fulfylled, which was spoken by Esay the prophete, when he sayth: He toke on hym oure infirmytes, and bare oure sycknes.
8:18When Iesus sawe moch people about him, he commaunded that they shulde go vnto the other syde of the water.
8:19And a certayne scribe (whan he was come) sayde vnto him: Master, I wil folowe the whither soeuer thou goest.
8:20And Iesus sayeth vnto him: the foxes haue holes, and the byrdes of the ayer haue nestes: but the sonne of man hath not where to reste his head.
8:21And another of the nomber of his disciples sayd vnto him: Master, suffre me first to go and bury my father.
8:22But Iesus sayde vnto hym: folowe me, and let the deed burye theyr deed.
8:23And whan he entred into a shyp, his disciples folowed him.
8:24And beholde, there arose a greate tempeste in the see, in so moche that the shyppe was couered with waues, but he was a slepe.
8:25And hys discyples came to hym, and awoke hym, sayenge: Master, saue vs, we peryshe.
8:26And he sayth vnto them: why are ye fearful, O ye of lytle faith? Then he arose and rebuked the wyndes and the see, and there folowed a greate calme.
8:27But the men marueyled, sayinge: what maner of man is this, that both wyndes and see obey hym?
8:28And when he was come to the other syde, into the countre of the Gergesites, ther met him two possessed of deuylles, which came out of the graues, and were out of measure fearce, so that no man might go by that waye.
8:29And beholde, they cryed out sayinge: O Iesu thou sonne of God what haue we to do with the? Art thou come hyther to torment vs before the tyme?
8:30And ther was a good waye of from them a heerd of many swyne, fedynge.
8:31So, the deuyls besought him, sayinge, yf thou cast vs out, suffre vs to go oure waye into the heerd of swyne.
8:32And he sayde vnto them: go youre wayes. Then went they out, and departed into the heerd of swyne. And beholde, the whole heerd of swyne was caried headlynge into the see, and perisshed in the waters,
8:33Then they that kepte them, fledd, and went their wayes into the cytie, and tolde euery thinge, and what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the deuyls.
8:34And beholde, the whole cytie came out to mete Iesus: and when they sawe him, they besought him that he wolde departe out of their coastes.
