3:1And he entred againe into the Synagogue, and there was a man there which had a withered hand:
3:2And they watched him, whether hee would heale him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
3:3And he saith vnto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
3:4And hee saith vnto them, Is it lawfull to doe good on the Sabbath dayes, or to doe euill? to saue life, or to kill? but they held their peace.
3:5And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieued for the hardnesse of their hearts, He saith vnto the man, Stretch foorth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
3:6And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway tooke counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
3:7But Iesus withdrew himselfe with his disciples to the Sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Iudea,
3:8And from Hierusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Iordane, and they about Tyre & Sydon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came vnto him.
3:9And he spake to his disciples that a small ship should wait on him, because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
3:10For he had healed many, insomuch that they preassed vpon him, for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
3:11And vncleane spirits, when they saw him, fell downe before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.
3:12And he straitly charged them, that they should not make him knowen.
3:13And he goeth vp into a mountaine, and calleth vnto him whom he would: and they came vnto him.
3:14And he ordeined twelue, that they should be with him, and that hee might send them foorth to preach:
3:15And to haue power to heale sickenesses, and to cast out deuils.
3:16And Simon he surnamed Peter.
3:17And Iames the sonne of Zebedee, and Iohn the brother of Iames (and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sonnes of thunder.)
3:18And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
3:19And Iudas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
3:20And the multitude commeth together againe, so that they could not so much as eate bread.
3:21And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him, for they said, He is beside himselfe.
3:22And the Scribes which came downe from Hierusalem, said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the deuils, casteth he out deuils.
3:23And he called them vnto him, and said vnto them in parables, Howe can Satan cast out Satan?
3:24And if a kingdome be diuided against it selfe, that kingdome cannot stand.
3:25And if a house be diuided against it selfe, that house cannot stand.
3:26And if Satan rise vp against himselfe, and be diuided, hee cannot stand, but hath an end.
3:27No man can enter into a strong mans house, and spoile his goods, except he will first bind the strong man, and then he will spoile his house.
3:28Uerely I say vnto you, All sinnes shalbe forgiuen vnto the sonnes of men, and blasphemies, wherewith soeuer they shall blaspheme:
3:29But he that shal blaspheme against the holy Ghost, hath neuer forgiuenesse, but is in danger of eternall damnation.
3:30Because they said, He hath an vncleane spirit.
3:31There came then his brethren, and his mother, and standing without, sent vnto him, calling him.
3:32And the multitude sate about him and they said vnto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seeke for thee.
3:33And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
3:34And he looked round about on them which sate about him, and saide, Behold my mother and my brethren.
3:35For whosoeuer shall doe the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

3:3And he sayde vnto ye ma with the wythred hade: Steppe forth here.
3:4And he sayde vnto the: Is it laufull to do good on the Sabbath? Or is it laufull to do euell? to saue life, or to kyll? But they helde their tonge.
3:5And he loked rounde aboute vpon them with wrath, and was sory for the harde hertes of the, and sayde vnto the man: Stretch out thine hande. And he stretched it out. And his hande was made whole like as ye other.
3:6And the Pharises wete out, and straight waye they helde a councell with Herodes officers agaynst him, how they might destroye him.
3:7But Iesus departed awaye with his disciples vnto the see. And there folowed him moch people out of Galile, and fro Iewry,
3:8and from Ierusale, and out of Idumea, and from beyonde Iordan, and they that dwelt aboute Tyre and Sydon, a greate multitude which had herde of his noble actes, and came vnto him.
3:9And he spake vnto his disciples yt they shulde kepe a shyppe for him because of the people, lest they shulde thrunge him:
3:10for he healed many of them, in so moch, that all they which were plaged,preased vpon him, that they might touch him.
3:11And whan the foule spretes sawe him, they fell downe before him, and cried, and sayde: Thou art the sonne of God.
3:12And he charged them strately, that they shulde not make him knowne.
3:13And he wente vp in to a mountayne, and called vnto him whom he wolde, and they came vnto him.
3:14And he ordeyned ye twolue, that they shulde be with him, and that he might sende them out to preach,
3:15and that they might haue power to heale sicknesses, and to cast out deuyls.
3:16And vnto Symon he gaue the name Peter,
3:17and Iames the sonne of Zebede, and Ihon the brother of Iames, and gaue the the name Bonarges, that is to saye, the children of thonder:
3:18and Andrew, and Philippe, and Bartylmew, and Mathew, and Thomas, and Iames ye sonne of Alpheus, and Taddeus, and Symon of Cana,
3:19and Iudas Iscarioth which betrayed him.And they came to house.
3:20Then assembled the people together agayne, in so moch that they had no leysure to eate.
3:21And when they that were aboute him herde of it, they wente out to holde him. For they sayde: he taketh to moch vpon him.
3:22But the scrybes that were come downe from Ierusalem, sayde: He hath Belzebub, and thorow the chefe deuell casteth he out deuyls.
3:23And he called them together, and spake vnto them in symilitudes:How can one Sathan dryue out another?
3:24And yf a realme be deuyded in it self, how can it endure?
3:25And yf a house be deuyded agaynst it self, it can not contynue.
3:26Yf Sathan now ryse agaynst him self, and be at variaunce with him self, he can not endure, but is at an ende.
3:27No man can entre in to a stronge mans house, and take awaye his goodes, excepte he first bynde the stronge man, and then spoyle his house.
3:28Verely I saye vnto you: All synnes shalbe forgeuen the children of men, and the blasphemy also wherwith they blaspheme.
3:29But who so blasphemeth the holy goost, hath neuer forgeuenes, but is giltie of the euerlastinge iudgment.
3:30For they sayde: he hath an vncleane sprete.
3:31And there came his mother and his brethre, and stode without, and sente vnto him, and called him.
3:32And the people sat aboute him, and sayde vnto him: Beholde, thy mother and thy brethre axe after the without.
3:33And he answered, and sayde: Who is my mother and my brethren?
3:34And he loked rounde aboute him vpon his disciples, which sat rounde in compasse aboute him, and sayde: Beholde, my mother and my brethren.
3:35For who so euer doth the will of God the same is my brother, and my sister and my mother.

3:2And thei aspieden hym, if he helide in the sabatis, to accuse him.
3:3And he seide to the man that hadde a drie hoond, Rise in to the myddil.
3:4And he seith to hem, Is it leeueful to do wel in the sabatis, ether yuel? to make a soul saaf, ether to leese? And thei weren stille.
3:5And he biheeld hem aboute with wraththe, and hadde sorewe on the blyndnesse of her herte, and seith to the man, Hold forth thin hoond. And he helde forth, and his hoond was restorid to hym.
3:6Sotheli Farisees yeden out anoon, and maden a counsel with Erodians ayens hym, hou thei schulden lese hym.
3:7But Jhesus with hise disciplis wente to the see; and myche puple fro Galilee and Judee suede hym,
3:8and fro Jerusalem, and fro Ydume, and fro biyondis Jordan, and thei that weren aboute Tire and Sidon, a greet multitude, heringe the thingis that he dide, and cam to hym.
3:9And Jhesus seide to hise disciplis, that the boot schulde serue hym, for the puple, lest thei thristen hym;
3:10for he heelide many, so that thei felden fast to hym, to touche hym. And hou many euer hadde syknessis, and vnclene spirits,
3:11whanne thei seyen hym, felden doun to hym, and crieden, seiynge, Thou art the sone of God.
3:12And greetli he manasside hem, that thei schulden not make hym knowun.
3:13And he wente in to an hille, and clepide to hym whom he wolde; and thei camen to hym.
3:14And he made, that there weren twelue with hym, to sende hem to preche.
3:15And he yaf to hem pouwer to heele sijknessis, and to caste out feendis.
3:16And to Symount he yaf a name Petre, and he clepide James of Zebede and Joon,
3:17the brother of James, and he yaf to hem names Boenarges, that is, sones of thundryng.
3:18And he clepide Andrew and Filip, and Bartholomew and Matheu, and Thomas and James Alfey, and Thadee,
3:19and Symount Cananee, and Judas Scarioth, that bitraiede hym.
3:20And thei camen to an hous, and the puple cam togidere eftsoone, so that thei miyten not ete breed.
3:21And whanne his kynnysmen hadden herd, thei wenten out `to holde him; for thei seiden, that he is turned in to woodnesse.
3:22And the scribis that camen doun fro Jerusalem, seiden, That he hath Belsabub, and that in the prince of deuelis he castith out fendis.
3:23And he clepide hem togidir, and he seide to hem in parablis, Hou may Sathanas caste out Sathanas?
3:24And if a rewme be departid ayens it silf, thilke rewme may not stonde.
3:25And if an hous be disparpoilid on it silf, thilke hous may not stonde.
3:26And if Sathanas hath risun ayens hym silf, he is departid, and he schal not mowe stonde, but hath an ende.
3:27No man may go in to a stronge mannus hous, and take awey hise vessels, but he bynde first the stronge man, and thanne he schal spoile his hous.
3:28Treuli Y seie to you, that alle synnes and blasfemyes, bi whiche thei han blasfemed, schulen be foryouun to the sones of men.
3:29But he that blasfemeth ayens the Hooli Goost, hath not remissioun in to with outen ende, but he schal be gilty of euerlastynge trespas.
3:30For thei seiden, He hath an vnclene spirit.
3:31And his modir and britheren camen, and thei stoden withoutforth, and senten to hym, and clepiden hym.
3:32And the puple sat aboute hym; and thei seien to hym, Lo! thi modir and thi britheren with outforth seken thee.
3:33And he answeride to hem, and seide, Who is my modir and my britheren?
3:34And he bihelde thilke that saten aboute hym, and seide, Lo! my modir and my britheren.
3:35For who that doith the wille of God, he is my brothir, and my sistir, and modir.
