3:1And he entred agayne into the synagoge, & there was a man there whiche had a wyddred hande.
3:2And they watched him to se, whether he woulde heale him on the Saboth daye, that they myght accuse hym.
3:3And he sayde vnto the man whiche had the widdred hande: aryse and stand in the myddes.
3:4And he sayde to them: whether is it lawful to do a good dede on the Saboth dayes, or an euyll? to saue lyfe or kyll? But they held theyr peace.
3:5And he loked rounde aboute on them angerly, mournynge on the blindnes of theyr hertes, & said to the man: stretch forth thyne hand. And he stretched it out. And hys hande was restored euen as whole as the other.
3:6And the Pharyses departed, and strayght waye gathered a counsel with them that belonged to Herode agaynste hym that they might destroye hym.
3:7And Iesus auoyded with hys disciples to the sea. And a great multitude folowed him from Galile, and from Iurie,
3:8and from Hierusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyonde Iordane, & they that dwelled aboute Tyre and Sydon, a great multitude: whiche when they had hearde what thynges he dyd came vnto hym.
3:9And he commaunded hys disciples, that a shypp shoulde wayte on hym, because of the people, leste they shoulde throunge him.
3:10For he had healed many, in so much that they preased vpon hym, for to touche hym as manye as had plages.
3:11And when the vncleane spirites sawe hym: they fell doune before hym, and cryed, sayinge: thou art the sonne of God
3:12And he straytly charged them that they should not vtter hym.
3:13And he wente vp into a mountayne, and called vnto hym whome he woulde, and they came vnto hym.
3:14And he ordeyned the .xij. that they shoulde be with hym, & that he myghte sende them to preache,
3:15and that they myghte haue power to heale sicknesses, and to caste oute deuyls.
3:16And he gaue Simon, to name Peter.
3:17And he called Iames the sonne of Zebede and Iohn, Iames brother, and gaue them Boanarges to name: whiche is to saye, the sonnes of thounder,
3:18and Andrew, and Philip, & Bartelmew, and Mathew, & Thomas, & Iames the sonne of Alphey & Taddeus, & Symon of Cane,
3:19and Iudas Iscaryoth, which same also betrayed hym. And they came into an house,
3:20& the people assembled together agayne, so greately that they had not leasure so much as to eate bread.
3:21And when they that longed vnto hym hearde of it, they went out to holde him. For they thought he had bene besyde hym selfe.
3:22And the scribes which came from Ierusalem, sayde: he hathe Beelzebub, and by the power of the chiefe deuyll casteth out deuyls.
3:23And he called them vnto hym, and sayd vnto them in similitudes. How can Sathan dryue out Satan?
3:24For if a realme be deuyded agaynst it selfe, that realme can not endure.
3:25Or yf a house be deuyded against it selfe, that house cannot continue:
3:26So yf Satan make insurreccyon agaynst hym selfe and be deuyded, he can not contynue, but is at an ende.
3:27No man can enter into a strong mans house and take awaye hys goodes, except he fyrste bynd that stronge man, and then spoyle hys house.
3:28Verely I saye vnto you: al synnes shalbe forgeuen vnto mens children and blaspheme wherwith they blaspheme:
3:29But he that blasphemeth the holye ghost, shall neuer haue forgeuenes, but is in daunger of eternal damnacion,
3:30because they said: he had an vncleane spirite.
3:31Then came his mother and his brethren, & stode wtout, and sent vnto hym & called hym.
3:32And the people sate about him, & said vnto him: beholde thy mother and thy brethren seke for the without.
3:33And he answered them saying: who is my mother and my brethren?
3:34And he loked rounde about on hys disciples, which sate in compasse about him, & sayd: behold my mother & my brethren.
3:35For whosoeuer doth the wil of god he is my brother, my syster, and mother.

3:6And the Pharises departed, and straightway gathered a councill with the Herodians against him, that they might destroy him.
3:7But Iesus auoided with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed him from Galile, and from Iudea,
3:8And from Ierusalem, and from Idumea, and beyonde Iordan: and they that dwelled about Tyrus and Sidon, when they had heard what great things he did, came vnto him in great number.
3:9And he commanded his disciples, that a litle shippe should waite for him, because of the multitude, lest they shoulde throng him.
3:10For hee had healed many, in so much that they preassed vpon him to touch him, as many as had plagues.
3:11And when the vncleane spirits sawe him, they fel downe before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.
3:12And he sharply rebuked them, to the ende they should not vtter him.
3:13Then hee went vp into a mountaine, and called vnto him whome he woulde, and they came vnto him.
3:14And hee appoynted twelue that they should be with him, and that he might send them to preache,
3:15And that they might haue power to heale sicknesses, and to cast out deuils.
3:16And the first was Simon, and hee named Simon, Peter,
3:17Then Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn Iames brother (and surnamed them Boanerges, which is, the sonnes of thunder,)
3:18And Andrew, and Philippe, and Bartlemew, and Matthewe, and Thomas, and Iames, the sonne of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Cananite,
3:19And Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him, and they came home.
3:20And the multitude assembled againe, so that they could not so much as eate bread.
3:21And when his kinsfolkes heard of it, they went out to laie hold on him: for they sayde that he was beside himselfe.
3:22And the Scribes which came downe from Hierusalem, saide, He hath Beelzebub, and through the prince of the deuils he casteth out deuils.
3:23But he called them vnto him, and said vnto them in parables, How can Satan driue out Satan?
3:24For if a kingdome bee deuided against it selfe, that kingdome can not stand.
3:25Or if a house bee deuided against it selfe, that house can not continue.
3:26So if Satan make insurrection against himselfe, and be deuided, hee can not endure but is at an ende.
3:27No man can enter into a strong mans house, and take away his goods, except hee first binde that strong man, and then spoyle his house.
3:28Verely I say vnto you, all sinnes shalbe forgiuen vnto the children of men, and blasphemies, wherewith they blaspheme:
3:29But hee that blasphemeth against the holy Ghost, shall neuer haue forgiuenesse, but is culpable of eternall damnation.
3:30Because they saide, Hee had an vncleane spirit.
3:31Then came his brethren and mother, and stoode without, and sent vnto him, and called him.
3:32And the people sate about him, and they said vnto him, Beholde, thy mother, and thy brethren seeke for thee without.
3:33But hee answered them, saying, Who is my mother and my brethren?
3:34And hee looked rounde about on them, which sate in compasse about him, and saide, Beholde my mother and my brethren.
3:35For whosoeuer doeth the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

3:9And he spake to his disciples that a small ship should wait on him, because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
3:10For he had healed many, insomuch that they preassed vpon him, for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
3:11And vncleane spirits, when they saw him, fell downe before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.
3:12And he straitly charged them, that they should not make him knowen.
3:13And he goeth vp into a mountaine, and calleth vnto him whom he would: and they came vnto him.
3:14And he ordeined twelue, that they should be with him, and that hee might send them foorth to preach:
3:15And to haue power to heale sickenesses, and to cast out deuils.
3:16And Simon he surnamed Peter.
3:17And Iames the sonne of Zebedee, and Iohn the brother of Iames (and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sonnes of thunder.)
3:18And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
3:19And Iudas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
3:20And the multitude commeth together againe, so that they could not so much as eate bread.
3:21And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him, for they said, He is beside himselfe.
3:22And the Scribes which came downe from Hierusalem, said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the deuils, casteth he out deuils.
3:23And he called them vnto him, and said vnto them in parables, Howe can Satan cast out Satan?
3:24And if a kingdome be diuided against it selfe, that kingdome cannot stand.
3:25And if a house be diuided against it selfe, that house cannot stand.
3:26And if Satan rise vp against himselfe, and be diuided, hee cannot stand, but hath an end.
3:27No man can enter into a strong mans house, and spoile his goods, except he will first bind the strong man, and then he will spoile his house.
3:28Uerely I say vnto you, All sinnes shalbe forgiuen vnto the sonnes of men, and blasphemies, wherewith soeuer they shall blaspheme:
3:29But he that shal blaspheme against the holy Ghost, hath neuer forgiuenesse, but is in danger of eternall damnation.
3:30Because they said, He hath an vncleane spirit.
3:31There came then his brethren, and his mother, and standing without, sent vnto him, calling him.
3:32And the multitude sate about him and they said vnto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seeke for thee.
3:33And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
3:34And he looked round about on them which sate about him, and saide, Behold my mother and my brethren.
3:35For whosoeuer shall doe the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
