7:3For the Phariseis and all the Iewes, except thei wash their handes ofte, eate not obseruinge the tradicions of the elders.
7:4And when they come from the market, except they wash they eate not. And many other thinges therbe whyche they haue taken vpon them to obserue, as the wasshyng of the cuppes and cruses, and of brasen vessels, and of tables.
7:5Then axed hym the Phariseis and Scribes, why walke not thy disciples accordynge to the tradicions of the elders, but eate breade with vnwashen handes?
7:6He aunswered and sayde vnto them: well prophecied Esayas of you hypocrites, as it is wryten: This people honoureth me with theyr lippes, but their hert is farre from me:
7:7In vayne they worship me, teachynge doctrines whyche are nothyng but the commaundementes of men.
7:8For ye laye the commaundement of God apart, and obserue the tradicions of men, as the washyng of cruses and of cuppes, and many other suche lyke thinges ye do.
7:9And he sayde vnto them: wel, ye caste aside the commaundement of God too maintayne your owne tradicions.
7:10For Moyses sayd: Honour thy father and thy mother: and whosoeuer curseth father or mother, let him dye for it.
7:11But ye saye a man shall saye to father or mother Corban: whiche is, that thou desirest me to helpe the with, is geuen God.

7:13makynge the worde of God of none effect, thorowe youre owne tradicions, which you haue ordeyned. And many suche thinges ye do.
7:14And he called all the people vnto hym, and sayde to them. Herken to me, euery one of you and vnderstande.
7:15There is nothinge without a man that can defile him when it entereth into him: but those thinges which procede out of hym are those, which defile the man.
7:16If any man haue eares to heare, let hym heare.
7:17And when he came into an house from the people his disciples axed him of the similitude
7:18And he sayde to them: Are ye so without vnderstanding. Do ye not yet perceyue that, whatsoeuer thinge from without entreth into a man it can not defile him,
7:19because it entreth not into his herte, but into his bealy: and goeth out into the draught that pourgeth out all meates.
7:20And he sayde that defileth a man, whiche cometh out of a man.
7:21For from within, euen out of the herte of men, procede euel thoughtes: aduoutry, fornication, murther,
7:22theft, coueteousnes, wickednes, deceyte: vncleanenesse and a wicked eye, blasphemy, pryde, folishenes:
7:23all these euell thinges come from within and defile a man.
7:24And from thense he rose and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would that no man should haue knowen: but he could not be hyd.

7:27And Iesus sayde vnto her: let the chyldren firste be fedde. For it is not mete, to take the chyldrens bread and to cast it vnto whelpes.
7:28She aunswered & sayde vnto him: euen so master, neuerthelesse the whelpes also eate vnder the table of the chyldrens cromes.
7:29And he sayde vnto her: for this saying go thy waye, the deuell is gone out of thy doughter.
7:30And when she was come home to her house, she founde the deuell departed, & her doughter lying on the bed.
7:31And departed agayne from the coostes yf Tire and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galile, thorow the middest of the coostes of the .x. cyties.
7:32And they brought vnto him one that was deafe, and stambred in his speache, and praied him to lay his hand vpon him.
7:33And he toke him a side from the people, and put his finger in his eares, and did spitte and touched hys tonge,
7:34and loked vp to heauen, and sighted & sayde vnto him: Ephata, that is to say be opened.
7:35And straight way his eares were opened and the stringe of hys tougue was losed, and he spake playne.
7:36And he commaunded them that they shoulde tell no man. But the more he forbad them, so muche the more a greate deale they published it:
7:37and were beyonde measure astonyed, sayinge: He hath done all thinges well, and hath made both the deafe to heare & the domme to speake.

7:1And the Pharyses came together vnto hym, & dyuers of the Scrybes whych came from Ierusalem.
7:2And when they sawe certaine of his discyples eate bread wyth commen (that is to saye, with vnwesshen) handes, they complayned.
7:3For the Pharyses and all the Iewes, excepte they wasshe theyr handes ofte, eate not, obseruyng the tradicyons of the elders.
7:4And when they come from the market, except they washe, they eate not. And many other thynges there be, which they haue taken vpon them to obserue, as the wasshynge of cuppes and cruses, and, brasen vessels, and of tables.
7:5Then asked hym the Pharyses & Scribes: why walke not thy dyscyples accordyng to the custome, ordeyned by the elders, but eate bread wyth vnwasshen handes?
7:6He answered & sayd vnto them: well prophesyed Esayas of you, ypocrytes, as it is wrytten: Thys people honoreth me wyth theyr lyppes, but theyr herte is farre from me:
7:7howbeit, in vayne do they serue me, teachyng the doctrines and commaundementes of men.
7:8For ye laye the commaundement of God a parte, & obserue the constitucyons of men, as the wesshinge of cruses & of cuppes, and many other soch lyke thynges ye do.
7:9And he sayde vnto them: well, ye cast a syde the commaundement of God, to mayntayne youre awne constitucyons.
7:10For Moses sayd: honoure thy father & thy mother: & whoso curseth father or mother, let him dye the death.
7:11But ye saye: a man shall saye to father or mother, Corban: whych is: what gyfte soeuer commeth fro me, shalbe for thy profyt.
7:12And so ye suffre him no more to do ought for hys father or his mother,
7:13and make the worde of God of none effecte, through youre awne constitucyon whych ye haue ordeyned. And many soche thynges do ye.
7:14And whan he had called all the people vnto hym, he sayde vnto them: herken vnto me, euery one of you, and vnderstande.
7:15There is nothynge wyth out a man that can defyle him, when it entreth into him: but the thynges whych proceade out of a man, those are they that defyle the man.
7:16If eny man haue eares to heare, let hym heare.
7:17And when he came in to the house awaye from the people, his discyples asked him of the symilitude.
7:18And he sayd vnto them: are ye also so greatly wyth out vnderstandinge? Do ye not yet perceaue, that what soeuer thynge from wtout, entreth into a man, it cannot defyle him,
7:19because it entreth not into his hert but into the bely: & goeth out into the draught, pourgyng out all meates?
7:20And he sayde: that whych commeth out of a man
7:21defyleth the man. For from wyth in, euen out of the herte of men proceade euyll thoughtes, aduoutry, fornicacyon, murther,
7:22theft, couetousnes, fraude, deceyte, vnclennes, a wycked eye, blasphemyes, pryde, folyshnes:
7:23all these euyll thynges come from wt in, and defyle a man.
7:24And from thence he rose, & went into the borders of Tyre & Sidon: & entred into an house, & wolde that no man shuld haue knowen. But he coulde not be hyd.
7:25For a certayne woman (whose daughter had a foule sprete) as soone as she heard of hym, came, and fell at hys fete.
7:26The woman was a Greke out of the nacyon of Syrophenicia, & she besought him, that he wolde cast out the deuyl from her daughter.
7:27But Iesus sayd vnto her: let the chyldren fyrst be fedd. For it is not mete, to take the chyldrens bread, and to cast it vnto whelpes.
7:28She answered & sayde vnto hym: euen so lorde, neuerthelesse, the whelpes also eat vnder the table of the chyldrens cromes.
7:29And he sayde vnto her: for thys sayinge go thy waye, the deuyl is gone out of thy daughter.
7:30And when she was come home to her house, she founde that the deuyll was departed, and her daughter lyinge on the bedd.
7:31And he departed agayne from the coastes of Tyre and Sidon, and came vnto the see of Galile thorow the myddes of the coastes of the ten cyties.
7:32And they broughte vnto him one that was deaffe and had an impediment in hys speche, and they prayd hym to put his hande vpon him.
7:33And when he had taken hym asyde from the people, he put hys fyngers into hys eares, and dyd spyt, & touched hys tonge,
7:34and loked vp to heauen, and syghed, and sayde vnto hym: Ephata, that is to saye, be opened.
7:35And strayght waye his eares were opened, and the stryng of his tounge was lowsed, and he spake playne.
7:36And he commaunded them, that they shulde tell no man. But the more he forbad them, so moch the more a greate deale they publisshed,
7:37saying: He hath done all thynges well, he hath made both the deaffe to heare, and the dome to speake.

7:1Then gathered vnto him the Pharises, and certaine of the Scribes which came from Hierusalem.
7:2And when they sawe some of his disciples eate meate with common hands, (that is to say, vnwashen) they complained.
7:3(For the Pharises, and all the Iewes, except they wash their hands oft, eate not, holding the tradition of the Elders.
7:4And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eate not: and many other things there be, which they haue taken vpon them to obserue, as the washing of cups, and pots, and of brasen vessels, and of beds.)
7:5Then asked him the Pharises and Scribes, Why walke not thy disciples according to the tradition of the Elders, but eate meate with vnwashen hands?
7:6Then hee answered and sayd vnto them, Surely Esay hath prophecied well of you, hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth mee with lippes, but their heart is farre away from me.
7:7But they worship me in vaine, teaching for doctrines the commandements of men.
7:8For ye lay the commandement of God apart, and obserue the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and of cups, and many other such like things ye doe.
7:9And he sayd vnto them, Well, ye reiect the commandement of God, that ye may obserue your owne tradition.
7:10For Moses sayd, Honour thy father and thy mother: and Whosoeuer shall speake euill of father or mother, let him die the death.
7:11But yee say, If a man say to father or mother, Corban, that is, By the gift that is offered by mee, thou mayest haue profite, hee shall be free.
7:12So ye suffer him no more to doe any thing for his father, or his mother,
7:13Making the worde of God of none authoritie, by your tradition which ye haue ordeined: and ye doe many such like things.
7:14Then he called the whole multitude vnto him, and sayd vnto them, Hearken you all vnto me, and vnderstand.
7:15There is nothing without a man, that can defile him, when it entreth into him: but the things which proceede out of him, are they which defile the man.
7:16If any haue eares to heare, let him heare.
7:17And when hee came into an house, away from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
7:18And he sayde vnto them, What? are ye without vnderstanding also? Doe ye not knowe that whatsoeuer thing from without entreth into a man, cannot defile him,
7:19Because it entreth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught which is the purging of all meates?
7:20Then he sayd, That which commeth out of man, that defileth man.
7:21For from within, euen out of the heart of men, proceede euill thoughtes, adulteries, fornications, murthers,
7:22Theftes, couetousnes, wickednes, deceite, vncleannes, a wicked eye, backbiting, pride, foolishnesse.
7:23All these euill things come from within, and defile a man.
7:24And from thence he rose, and went into the borders of Tyrus and Sidon, and entred into an house, and woulde that no man should haue knowen: but he could not be hid.
7:25For a certaine woman, whose litle daughter had an vncleane spirit, heard of him, and came, and fell at his feete,
7:26(And the woman was a Greeke, a Syrophenissian by nation) and she besought him that he would cast out the deuill out of her daughter.
7:27But Iesus saide vnto her, Let the children first be fedde: for it is not good to take the childrens bread, and to cast it vnto whelpes.
7:28Then shee answered, and saide vnto him, Trueth, Lord: yet in deede the whelpes eate vnder the table of the childrens crommes.
7:29Then he said vnto her, For this saying goe thy way: the deuil is gone out of thy daughter.
7:30And when shee was come home to her house, shee founde the deuill departed, and her daughter lying on the bed.
7:31And hee departed againe from the coastes of Tyrus and Sidon, and came vnto the sea of Galile, through the middes of the coastes of Decapolis.
7:32And they brought vnto him one that was deafe and stambered in his speache, and prayed him to put his hand vpon him.
7:33Then hee tooke him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers in his eares, and did spit, and touched his tongue.
7:34And looking vp to heauen, hee sighed, and said vnto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
7:35And straightway his eares were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and hee spake plaine.
7:36And he commanded them, that they should tell no man: but howe much soeuer hee forbad them, the more a great deale they published it,
7:37And were beyonde measure astonied, saying, Hee hath done all thinges well: he maketh both the deafe to heare, and the domme to speake.
