11:1And when they came nye to Hierusalem vnto Bethphage and Bethanye, besydes mount Olyuete, he sent two of hys discyples,
11:2and sayde vnto them: Go your wayes into the toune that is ouer agaist you. And assone as ye be entred into it, ye shal fynde a coolte tied, whereon neuer man sate: loose hym, and brynge hym hyther.
11:3And yf any man say vnto you: why do ye so? Saye that the Lorde hath nede of hym: and strayghte waye he wyll sende hym hyther.
11:4And they wente theyr waye, & founde a coolte tyed by the dore without in a place where two wayes met, and they losed hym.
11:5And dyuers of them that stode there, sayd vnto them: What do ye lowsyng the coolte?
11:6And they sayed vnto them euen as Iesus had commaunded them. And they let them go.
11:7And they broughte the coolt to Iesus, and caste theyr garmentes on hym: & he sate vpon hym.
11:8And manye spredde theyr garmentes in the way. Other cut doune braunches of the trees, and strawed them in the waye
11:9And they that before, & they that folowed, cryed, saying Hosanna: blessed be he that commeth in the name of the Lord.
11:10Blessed be the kyngdome that commeth in the name of hym that is Lord of our father Dauid. Hosanna in the hyest.
11:11And the Lorde entred into Hierusalem, & into the temple. And when he had loked round aboute vpon all thynges, and nowe the euen tyde was come, he wente oute vnto Bethany with the twelue.
11:12And on the morowe when they were come oute from Bethany, he hungred,
11:13and spied a fygge tree a farre of hauing leaues: and wente to se whether he myghte fynde any thynge theron. But when he came therto, he founde nothyng but leaues: for the tyme of fygges was not yet.
11:14And Iesus aunswered & sayd to it: neuer man eate frute of the here after whyle the world standeth. And hys discyples hearde it.
11:15And they came to Hierusalem. And Iesus went into the temple, and beganne to cast out sellers, and byers in the temple, & ouerthrewe the tables of the money chaungers, & the stoles of them that solde doues,
11:16and woulde not suffer that anye man caryed a vessell through the temple.
11:17And he taught saying vnto them: is it not wryten: my house shall be called the house of prayer vnto al nacions? But ye haue made it a den of theues.
11:18And the Scrybes & hye Priestes hearde it: and soughte howe to destroy him. For they feared hym, because al the people marueyled at his doctrine.
11:19And when euen was come, he wente oute of the citye.
11:20And in the mornynge as they passed by, they sawe the fygge tree dryed vp by the rotes.
11:21And Peter remembred, & sayd vnto him: maister, behold the figge tree which thou cursedest, is wythered away.
11:22And Iesus aunswered, and sayed vnto them: Haue confydence in God.
11:23Verelye I saye vnto you, that whosoeuer shall saye to thys mountayne: take awaye thy selfe, and caste thy selfe into the sea, and shall not wauer in hys herte, but shall beleue that those thynges whiche he sayeth, shall come to passe, whatsoeuer he sayeth, shalbe done to hym.
11:24Therfore I saye vnto you, whatsoeuer ye desyre when ye praye, beleue that ye shall haue it, and it shall be done vnto you.
11:25And when ye stande, and pray, forgeue, yf ye haue any thyng agaynst any man, that youre father also which is in heauen, may forgeue you your trespasses.

11:27And they came agayne to Hierusalem. And as he walked in the temple, there came to him the hye priestes and the Scribes & the elders,
11:28and sayed vnto hym: by what authoritie doest thou these thynges? And who gaue the thys authoritie to do these thynges?
11:29Iesus aunswered and sayed vnto them: I wyll also axe of you a certayne thynge: and aunswere ye me, and I wyll tell you by what authorite I do these thynges.
11:30The baptisme of Iohn was it from heauen, or of menne? Aunswere me.
11:31And they thoughte in them selues, sayinge: yf we shall saye, from heauen: he wyl saye then: why dyd ye not beleue hym?
11:32But yf we shall saye, of men, then feare we the people. For al men counted Iohn that he was a very Prophet.
11:33And they aunswered and sayd vnto Iesus: we can not tell. And Iesus aunswered and sayed vnto them, neyther wyll I tell you, by what authoritie I do those thynges.

11:3And if any man say vnto you, Why doe ye this? Say that the Lord hath neede of him, and straightway he will send him hither.
11:4And they went their way, and found a colt tyed by the doore without, in a place where two wayes met, and they loosed him.
11:5Then certaine of them, that stoode there, sayd vnto them, What doe ye loosing the colt?
11:6And they sayde vnto them, as Iesus had commanded them: So they let them goe.
11:7And they brought the colte to Iesus, and cast their garments on him, and he sate vpon him.
11:8And many spred their garments in the way: other cut downe branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
11:9And they that went before, and they that folowed, cryed, saying, Hosanna: blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
11:10Blessed be the kingdome that commeth in the Name of the Lord of our father Dauid: Hosanna, O thou which art in the highest heauens.
11:11So Iesus entred into Hierusalem, and into the Temple: and when he had looked about on all things, and now it was euening, he went forth vnto Bethania with the twelue.
11:12And on the morowe when they were come out from Bethania, he was hungry.
11:13And seeing a fig tree afarre off, that had leaues, he went to see if he might finde any thing thereon: but when he came vnto it, hee found nothing but leaues: for the time of figges was not yet.
11:14Then Iesus answered, and sayd to it, Neuer man eate fruite of thee hereafter while the world standeth: and his disciples heard it.
11:15And they came to Hierusalem, and Iesus went into the Temple, and began to cast out them that solde and bought in the Temple, and ouerthrewe the tables of the money changers, and the seates of them that solde doues.
11:16Neither would hee suffer that any man should cary a vessell through the Temple.
11:17And he taught, saying vnto them, Is it not written, Mine house shalbe called the house of prayer vnto all nations? but you haue made it a denne of theeues.
11:18And the Scribes and hie Priestes heard it, and sought howe to destroy him: for they feared him, because the whole multitude was astonied at his doctrine.
11:19But when euen was come, Iesus went out of the citie.
11:20And in the morning as they iourneyed together, they saw the figge tree dried vp from the rootes.
11:21Then Peter remembred, and said vnto him, Master, beholde, the figge tree which thou cursedst, is withered.
11:22And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Haue the faith of God.
11:23For verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer shall say vnto this mountaine, Be thou taken away, and cast into the sea, and shall not wauer in his heart, but shall beleeue that those things which he saieth, shall come to passe, whatsoeuer he saieth, shall be done to him.
11:24Therefore I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye shall haue it, and it shalbe done vnto you.
11:25But when ye shall stand, and pray, forgiue, if ye haue any thing against any man, that your Father also which is in heauen, may forgiue you your trespasses.
11:26For if you will not forgiue, your Father which is in heauen, will not pardon you your trespasses.
11:27Then they came againe to Hierusalem: and as he walked in the Temple, there came to him ye hie Priestes, and the Scribes, and the Elders,
11:28And said vnto him, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authoritie, that thou shouldest doe these things?
11:29Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, I will also aske of you a certaine thing, and answere ye me, and I will tell you by what authoritie I do these things.
11:30The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men? answere me.
11:31And they thought with themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then did ye not beleeue him?
11:32But if we say, Of men, we feare the people: for all men counted Iohn, that he was a Prophet in deede.
11:33Then they answered, and saide vnto Iesus, We cannot tell. And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Neither will I tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.

11:21And Peter calling to remembrance saith vnto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst, is withered away.
11:22And Iesus answering, saith vnto them, Haue faith in God.
11:23For verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer shall say vnto this mountaine, Bee thou remoued, and bee thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall beleeue that those things which hee saith, shall come to passe: he shal haue whatsoeuer he saith.
11:24Therfore I say vnto you, What things soeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye receiue them, and ye shall haue them.
11:25And when ye stand, praying, forgiue, if ye haue ought against any: that your Father also which is in heauen, may forgiue you your trespasses.
11:26But if you doe not forgiue, neither will your Father which is in heauen, forgiue your trespasses.
11:27And they come againe to Hierusalem, and as he was walking in the Temple, there come to him the chiefe Priests, and the Scribes, & the Elders,
11:28And say vnto him, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authority to doe these things?
11:29And Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, I will also aske of you one question, and answere me, and I will tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.
11:30The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men? Answere me.
11:31And they reasoned with themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then did ye not beleeue him?
11:32But if we shall say, Of men, they feared the people: for all men counted Iohn, that he was a Prophet indeed.
11:33And they answered and said vnto Iesus, We cannot tell. And Iesus answering, saith vnto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I doe these things.
