| 11:1 | And whanne Jhesus cam nyy to Jerusalem and to Betanye, to the mount of Olyues, he sendith tweyne of hise disciplis, and seith to hem, |
| 11:2 | Go ye in to the castel that is ayens you; and anoon as ye entren there ye schulen fynde a colt tied, on which no man hath sete yit; vntie ye, and brynge hym. |
| 11:3 | And if ony man seye ony thing to you, What doen ye? seie ye, that he is nedeful to the Lord, and anoon he schal leeue hym hidir. |
| 11:4 | And thei yeden forth, and founden a colt tied bifor the yate with out forth, in the metyng of twei weies; and thei vntieden hym. |
| 11:5 | And summe of hem that stoden there seiden to hem, What doen ye, vntiynge the colt? |

| 11:8 | And many strewiden her clothis in the weie, othere men kittiden braunchis fro trees, and strewiden in the weie. |
| 11:9 | And thei that wenten bifor, and that sueden, crieden, and seiden, Osanna, |
| 11:10 | blissid is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; blessid be the kyngdom of oure fadir Dauid that is come; Osanna in hiyest thingis. |
| 11:11 | And he entride in to Jerusalem, in to the temple; and whanne he `hadde seyn al thing aboute, whanne it was eue, he wente out in to Betanye, with the twelue. |
| 11:12 | And anothir daye, whanne he wente out of Betanye, he hungride. |
| 11:13 | And whanne he hadde seyn a fige tree afer hauynge leeues, he cam, if happili he schulde fynde ony thing theron; and whanne he cam to it, he foonde no thing, out takun leeues; for it was not tyme of figis. |
| 11:14 | And Jhesus answeride and seide to it, Now neuer ete ony man fruyt of thee more. And hise disciplis herden; |
| 11:15 | and thei camen to Jerusalem. And whanne he was entrid in to the temple, he bigan to caste out silleris and biggeris in the temple; and he turnede vpsodoun the bordis of chaungeris, and the chayeris of men that selden culueris; |
| 11:16 | and he suffride not, that ony man schulde bere a vessel thorou the temple. |
| 11:17 | And he tauyte hem, and seide, Whether it is not writun, That myn hous schal be clepid the hous of preyng to alle folkis? but ye han maad it a denne of theues. |
| 11:18 | And whanne this thing was herd, the princis of prestis and scribis souyten hou thei schulden leese hym; for thei dredden hym, for al the puple wondride on his techyng. |
| 11:19 | And whanne euenyng was come, he wente out of the citee. |
| 11:20 | And as thei passiden forth eerli, thei sayn the fige tree maad drye fro the rootis. |
| 11:21 | And Petir bithouyte hym, and seide to hym, Maister, lo! the fige tree, whom thou cursidist, is dried vp. |
| 11:22 | And Jhesus answeride and seide to hem, Haue ye the feith of God; |
| 11:23 | treuli Y seie to you, that who euer seith to this hil, Be thou takun, and cast in to the see; and doute not in his herte, but bileueth, that what euer he seie, schal be don, it schal be don to hym. |
| 11:24 | Therfor Y seie to you, alle thingis what euer thingis ye preynge schulen axe, bileue ye that ye schulen take, and thei schulen come to you. |
| 11:25 | And whanne ye schulen stonde to preye, foryyue ye, if ye han ony thing ayens ony man, that youre fadir that is in heuenes, foryyue to you youre synnes. |
| 11:26 | And if ye foryyuen not, nether youre fadir that is in heuenes, schal foryyue to you youre synnes. |
| 11:27 | And eftsoone thei camen to Jerusalem. And whanne he walkide in the temple, the hiyeste prestis, and scribis, and the elder men camen to hym, |
| 11:28 | and seyn to hym, In what power doist thou these thingis? or who yaf to thee this power, that thou do these thingis? |
| 11:29 | Jhesus answeride and seide to hem, And Y schal axe you o word, and answere ye to me, and Y schal seie to you in what power Y do these thingis. |
| 11:30 | Whether was the baptym of Joon of heuene, or of men? answere ye to me. |
| 11:31 | And thei thouyten with ynne hem silf, seiynge, If we seien of heuene, he schal seie to vs, Whi thanne bileuen ye not to him; |
| 11:32 | if we seien of men, we dreden the puple; for alle men hadden Joon, that he was verili a prophete. |
| 11:33 | And thei answeryden, and seien to Jhesu, We witen neuer. And Jhesu answerde, and seide to hem, Nether Y seie to you, in what power Y do these thingis. |

| 11:3 | And if eny man saye vnto you: why do ye soo? Saye that the Lorde hath neade of him: and streight waye he will sende him hidder. |
| 11:4 | And they wet their waye and foud a coolte tyed by the dore with out in a place where two wayes met and they losed him. |
| 11:5 | And divers of the that stode there sayde vnto the: what do ye loosinge ye coolte? |
| 11:6 | And they sayd vnto them eve as Iesus had comaunded the. And they let them goo. |
| 11:7 | And they brought ye coolte to Iesus and caste their garmetes on him: and he sate vpo him. |
| 11:8 | And many sprede there garmetes in the waye. Other cut doune brauches of the trees and strawed them in ye waye. |
| 11:9 | And they yt went before and they that folowed cryed sayinge: Hos anna: blessed be he that cometh in ye name of ye Lorde. |
| 11:10 | Blessed be ye kingdome that cometh in ye name of him yt is Lorde of oure father David. Hos anna in ye hyest. |
| 11:11 | And ye Lorde entred in to Ierusalem and into the teple. And when he had loked roudabout vpon all thinges and now ye eve tyde was come he went out vnto Bethany with ye twelve. |
| 11:12 | And on the morowe when they were come out fro Bethany he hungred |
| 11:13 | and spyed a fygge tree a farre of havinge leves and wet to se whether he myght finde eny thinge ther on. But when he came therto he foude no thinge but leves: for the tyme of fygges was not yet. |
| 11:14 | And Iesus answered and sayde to it: never man eate frute of the here after whill ye worlde stondith. And his disciples hearde it. |
| 11:15 | And they came to Ierusalem. And Iesus wet into the teple and begane to cast out ye sellers and byers in the teple and overthrewe the tables of the money chaungers and the stoles of them that solde doves: |
| 11:16 | and wolde not suffre that eny man caried a vessell thorow the temple. |
| 11:17 | And he taught sayinge vnto them is it not written: my housse shalbe called the housse of prayer vnto all nacions? But ye have made it a deen of theves. |
| 11:18 | And the Scribes and hye prestes hearde yt and sought howe to distroye him. For they feared him because all the people marveled at his doctrine. |
| 11:19 | And when eve was come he went out of the cite. |
| 11:20 | And in the mornynge as they passed by they sawe the fygge tree dryed vp by ye rotes. |
| 11:21 | And Peter remembred and sayde vnto him: master beholde the fygge tree which thou cursedest is widdred awaye. |
| 11:22 | And Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: Have confides in God. |
| 11:23 | Verely I saye vnto you that whosoever shall saye vnto this mountayne: take awaye thy silfe and cast thy silfe in to the see and shall not waver in his herte but shall beleve yt those thinges which he sayeth shall come to passe what soever he sayeth shalbe done to him. |
| 11:24 | Therfore I saye vnto you what soever ye desyre when ye praye beleve yt ye shall have it and it shalbe done vnto you. |
| 11:25 | And when ye stod and praye forgeve yf ye have eny thinge agaynste eny man yt youre father also which is in heve maye forgeve you youre trespases. |
| 11:27 | And they came agayne to Hierusalem. And as he walked in the teple ther came to him ye hye prestes and the Scribes and the elders |
| 11:28 | and sayd vnto him: by what auctorite doest thou these thinges? and who gave the this auctorite to do these thinges? |
| 11:29 | Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: I will also axe of you a certayne thinge: and answere ye me and I wyll tell you by what auctorite I do these thinges. |
| 11:30 | The baptyme of Iohn was it from heven or of men? Answer me. |
| 11:31 | And they thought in them selves sayinge: yf we shall saye from heven: he will saye why then dyd ye not beleve him? |
| 11:32 | but if we shall saye of me: then feare we ye people. For all men counted Iohn that he was a verie Prophete. |
| 11:33 | And they answered and sayd vnto Iesu: we cannot tell. And Iesus answered and sayd vnto them: nether wyll I tell you by what auctorite I do these thynges. |

| 11:5 | And certayne of those yt stode there, axed them: What do ye, that ye lowse the foale? |
| 11:6 | But they sayde vnto the, like as Iesus had commaunded them. And so they let them alone. |
| 11:7 | And they brought the foale vnto Iesus, and layed their clothes theron, and he sat theron. |
| 11:8 | But many spred their garmetes in the waye: some cut downe braunches fro the trees, and strowed the in the waye. |
| 11:9 | And they that wente before, and that folowed after, cried, and sayde: Hosyanna, blessed be he, that commeth in the name of the LORDE: |
| 11:10 | blessed be the kyngdome of oure father Dauid, which commeth in the name of the LORDE. Hosyanna in the height. |
| 11:11 | And the LORDE entred in to Ierusalem, and wente in to the temple, and loked vpon all. And at euen he wente out vnto Bethany with the twolue: |
| 11:12 | and on the morow wha they departed from Bethanye, he hugred, |
| 11:13 | and sawe a fygge tre afarre of, which had leaues. Then came he nye, (to se) yf he coude fynde eny thinge theron.And whan he came to it, he founde nothinge but leaues (for the tyme of fygges was not yet) |
| 11:14 | And Iesus answered, and sayde vnto it: Neuer ma eate frute of the for euermore. And his disciples herde it. |
| 11:15 | And they came to Ierusalem. And Iesus wente in to the temple, and beganne to dryue out the sellers and byers in the teple, & ouerthrew the tables of the money chaungers, and the stoles of the doue sellers, |
| 11:16 | and suffred not eny man to cary a vessell thorow the temple. |
| 11:17 | And he taught and sayde vnto them: Is it not wrytten: My house shalbe called a house of prayer for all people? But ye haue made it a denne of murthurers. |
| 11:18 | And the scrybes and hye prestes herde of it. And they sought how they might destroye him, but they were afrayed of him, for all the people marueled at his doctryne. |
| 11:19 | And at euen he wente out of the cite. |
| 11:20 | And on the morow they passed by, and sawe the fygge tre, that it was wythred vnto the rote. |
| 11:21 | And Peter thought theron, and sayde vnto him: Master, beholde, the fygge tre yt thou cursedest, is wythred awaye. |
| 11:22 | Iesus answered, and sayde vnto them: Haue faith in God. |
| 11:23 | Verely I saye vnto you: Who so euer saieth vnto this mountayne: Avoyde, and cast thy self in to the see, and douteth not in his hert, but beleueth that the thinges shal come to passe which he saieth, then loke what he sayeth, it shal come to passe. |
| 11:24 | Therfore I saye vnto you: What so euer ye desyre in youre prayer, beleue that ye shal receaue it, and ye shal haue it. |
| 11:25 | And whan ye stonde and praye, forgeue yf ye haue ought ageynst eny man, that youre father also in heauen, maye forgeue you youre trespaces. |
