Mark - Chapter: 13

>
13:1And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
13:2And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
13:3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
13:4Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
13:5And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
13:6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
13:7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
13:8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
13:9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
13:10And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
13:11But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
13:12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13:13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
13:14But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
13:15And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
13:16And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
13:17But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
13:18And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
13:19For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
13:20And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
13:21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
13:22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
13:23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
13:24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
13:25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
13:26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
13:27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
13:28Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
13:29So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
13:30Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
13:31Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
13:32But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
13:33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
13:34For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
13:35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
13:36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
13:37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

13:1Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, "Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!"
13:2And Jesus replied and said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another, that will not be thrown down."
13:3Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately,
13:4"Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?"
13:5And Jesus, answering them, began to say: "Take heed that no one deceives you."
13:6Because, many will come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ,' and will deceive many."
13:7But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; because, such things must happen, but the end will not be yet."
13:8Because nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows."
13:9"But watch out for yourselves, because, they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them."
13:10And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations."
13:11But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; because it is not you who speaks, but the Holy Spirit."
13:12Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his son; and children will rise up against their parents and will cause them to be put to death."
13:13And you will be hated by all people for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved."
13:14"But when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not" (let the reader understand), "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
13:15Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter into it to take anything out of his house."
13:16And let him who is in the field not turn back again to get his clothes."
13:17But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babes in those days!"
13:18And pray that your flight may not be in winter."
13:19Because, in those days there will be affliction, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever will be."
13:20And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, whom He has chosen, He shortened the days."
13:21"Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is Christ!' or, 'Look, He is there!' do not believe them."
13:22Because, false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect."
13:23But take heed; behold, I have told you all things beforehand."
13:24"But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light;"
13:25the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken."
13:26Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory."
13:27And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of the earth to the farthest part of heaven."
13:28"Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near."
13:29So you also, when you see these things come to pass, know that it is near, even at the doors!"
13:30Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are done."
13:31Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away."
13:32"But of that day and that hour no one knows, no, not the angels which are in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father."
13:33Take heed, watch and pray; because, you do not know when the time is."
13:34Because, the Son of Man is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to every person his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch."
13:35Watch therefore, because, you do not know when the master of the house is coming, in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning,"
13:36lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping."
13:37And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"

13:1And as he went out of the teple one of his disciples sayde vnto him: Master se what stones and what byldynges are here.
13:2And Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: Seist thou these greate byldinges? There shall not be leefte one stone vpon a another that shall not be throwen doune.
13:3And as he sate on moute olivete over agest the teple Peter and Iames and Iohn and Andrew axed him secretly:
13:4tell vs when shall these thinges be? And what is ye signe whe all these thinges shalbe fulfilled?
13:5And Iesus answered the and bega to saye: take hede lest eny man deceave you.
13:6For many shall come in my name sayinge: I am Christ and shall deceave many.
13:7When ye shall heare of warre and tydinges of warre be ye not troubled. For soche thinges muste nedes be. But the ende is not yet.
13:8For ther shall nacion aryse agaynste nacion and kyngdome agaynst kyngdome. And ther shalbe erth quakes in all quarters and famyshment and troubles. These are the begynnynge of sorowes.
13:9But take ye hede to youre selves. For they shall bringe you vp to ye counsels and into ye synagoges and ye shalbe beaten: ye and shalbe brought before rulers and kynges for my sake for a testimoniall vnto them.
13:10And the gospell must fyrste be publysshed amoge all nacions.
13:11But when they leade you and present you toke noo thought afore honde what ye shall saye nether ymagion: but whatsoever is geve you at the same tyme that speake. For it shall not be ye that shall speake but ye holy goost.
13:12Ye and the brother shall delyvre the brother to deeth and the father the sonne and the chyldre shall ryse agaynste their fathers and mothers and shall put them to deeth.
13:13And ye shalbe hated of all men for my names sake. But whosoever shall endure vnto the ende the same shalbe safe.
13:14Moreover whe ye se the abhominacio that betokeneth desolacion wherof is spoken by Daniel the Prophet stonde where it ought not let him that redeth vnderstonde. Then let them that be in Iurie fle to the mountaynes.
13:15And let him that is on the housse toppe not descende doune into the housse nether entre therin to fetche eny thinge oute of his housse.
13:16And let hym that is in the felde not tourne backe agayne vnto the thinges which he leeft behynde him for to take his cloothes with him.
13:17Woo is then to them that are wt chylde and to them that geve soucke in thoose dayes.
13:18But praye that youre flyght be not in the wynter.
13:19For ther shalbe in those dayes suche tribulacion as was not from the begynninge of creatures which God created vnto this tyme nether shalbe.
13:20And excepte yt the Lorde shuld shorten those dayes no ma shuld be saved. But for the electes sake which he hath chosen he hath shortened those dayes.
13:21And then yf eny man saye to you: loo here is Christ: loo he is there beleve not.
13:22For falce Christes shall aryse and falce Prophetes and shall shewe myracles and wondres to deceave yf it were possible evyn the electe.
13:23But take ye hede: beholde I have shewed you all thinges before.
13:24Moreover in thoose dayes after that tribulacio the sunne shall wexe darke and the mone shall not geve her light
13:25and the starres of heven shall fall: and the powers wich are in heven shall move.
13:26And then shall they se the sonne of man comynge in the cloudes with greate power and glory.
13:27And then shall he sende his angels and shall gaddre to gedder his electe from the fower wyndes and from the one ende of the worlde to the other.
13:28Learne a similitude of ye fygge tree. When his braunches are yet tender and hath brought forthe leves ye knowe that sommer is neare.
13:29So in lyke maner when ye se these thinges come to passe: vnderstond that it ys nye even at the dores.
13:30Verely I saye vnto you yt this generacion shall not passe tyll all these thinges be done.
13:31Heven and erth shall passe but my wordes shall not passe.
13:32But of the daye and the houre knoweth no ma: no not the angels which are in heven: nether the sonne him silfe save the father only.
13:33Take hede watche and praye for ye knowe not when the tyme ys.
13:34As a man which is gone in to a straunge countrey and hath lefte hys housse and geven auctorite to his servautes and to every man hys worke and commaunded the porter to watche.
13:35Watche therfore for ye knowe not when the master of ye housse will come whether at eve or at mydnyght whether at the cocke crowynge or in the daunynge:
13:36lest yf he come sodenly he shuld fynde you slepynge.
13:37And that I saye vnto you I saye vnto all men watche.
