Mark - Chapter: 13

>
13:1And as he went out of the Temple, one of his disciples saith vnto him, Master, see what maner of stones, and what buildings are here.
13:2And Iesus answering, said vnto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone vpon an other, that shal not be throwen downe.
13:3And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, ouer against the Temple, Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrew asked him priuately,
13:4Tell vs, when shall these things be? And what shalbe the signe when all these things shalbe fulfilled?
13:5And Iesus answering them, began to say, Take heed lest any man deceiue you.
13:6For many shal come in my Name, saying, I am Christ: and shall deceiue many.
13:7And when yee shall heare of warres, and rumors of warres, be yee not troubled: For such things must needs be, but the end shall not be yet.
13:8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdome against kingdome: and there shalbe earthquakes in diuers places, and there shall be famines, and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrowes.
13:9But take heed to your selues: for they shall deliuer you vp to councels, and in the Synagogues ye shall be beaten, and ye shalbe brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
13:10And the Gospel must first be published among all nations.
13:11But when they shall lead you, and deliuer you vp, take no thought before hand what ye shall speake, neither doe yee premeditate: but whatsoeuer shall bee giuen you in that houre, that speake yee: for it is not yee that speake, but the holy Ghost.
13:12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne: and children shall rise vp against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13:13And ye shall bee hated of all men for my Names sake: but hee that shall endure vnto the ende, the same shall be saued.
13:14But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, standing where it ought not (let him that readeth vnderstand) then let them that be in Iudea, flee to the mountaines:
13:15And let him that is on the house top, not goe downe into the house, neither enter therin, to take any thing out of his house.
13:16And let him that is in the field, not turne backe againe for to take vp his garment.
13:17But woe to them that are with child, and to them that giue suck in those dayes.
13:18And pray ye that your flight bee not in the winter.
13:19For in those dayes shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created, vnto this time, neither shall be.
13:20And except that the Lord had shortened those dayes, no flesh should be saued: but for the elects sake whome he hath chosen, he hath shortned the daies.
13:21And then, if any man shall say to you, Loe, here is Christ, or loe, hee is there: beleeue him not.
13:22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, euen the elect.
13:23But take ye heed: behold, I haue foretold you all things.
13:24But in those dayes, after that tribulation, the Sunne shalbe darkned, and the Moone shall not giue her light.
13:25And the Starres of heauen shall fall, and the powers that are in heauen shall be shaken.
13:26And then shal they see the Sonne of man comming in the cloudes, with great power and glory.
13:27And then shal he send his Angels, and shall gather together his elect from the foure winds, from the vttermost part of the earth, to the vttermost part of heauen.
13:28Now learne a parable of the fig tree. When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaues, ye know that summer is neere:
13:29So ye in like maner, when ye shal see these things come to passe, knowe that it is nigh, euen at the doores.
13:30Uerely I say vnto you, that this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done.
13:31Heauen and earth shal passe away: but my words shall not passe away.
13:32But of that day and that houre knoweth no man, no not the Angels which are in heauen, neither the Son, but the Father.
13:33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
13:34For the Sonne of man is as a man taking a farre iourney, who left his house, and gaue authority to his seruants, and to euery man his worke, and commanded the porter to watch:
13:35Watch ye therefore (for ye knowe not when the master of the house commeth, at Euen, or at midnight, or at the cocke crowing, or in the morning.)
13:36Lest comming suddenly, he finde you sleeping.
13:37And what I say vnto you, I say vnto all, Watch.

13:1And whan he wete out of the temple, one of his disciples sayde vnto him: Master, se, what stones and what a buyldinge is this?
13:2And Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: Seist thou all this greate buyldinge? There shal not one stone be left vpo another, yt shal not be broken downe.
13:3And whan he sat vpon mount Oliuete ouer ageynst the temple, Peter and Iames, and Ihon, and Andrew axed him pryuatly:
13:4Tell vs, Whan shal all these come to passe? And what shalbe the toke, wha all these shalbe fulfilled?
13:5Iesus answered them, and beganne to saye: Take hede, that no man disceaue you,
13:6for there shal many come vnder my name, and saye: I am Christ, & shal disceaue many.
13:7But whan ye shal heare of the noyse of warres, be not ye afrayed: for so must it be, but ye ende is not yet.
13:8One people shal ryse ageynst another, and one realme ageynst another, and there shal be earth quakes here and there, and derth shal there be and troubles. These are the begynnynge of sorowes.
13:9But take ye hede to youre selues. For they shal delyuer you vp to the councels, and synagoges, and ye shal be beaten, and shalbe brought before prynces and kynges for my namessake, for a wytnesse vnto the.
13:10And ye gospel must first be preached amoge all people.
13:11Now whan they shal lede you and delyuer you vp, take ye no thought afore what ye shal saye: and ymagyn ye nothinge afore hande, but what so euer shal be geue you at the same houre, that speake: for it is not ye that speake, but the holy goost.
13:12One brother shal delyuer another vnto death, and the father the sonne, & the children shal ryse ageynst their fathers and mothers, and shal helpe them to death,
13:13and ye shal be hated of all men for my names sake. But who so endureth to the ende, shalbe saued.
13:14Whan ye shal se the abhominacio of desolacion (wherof it is spoke by Daniel the prophet) stonde where it ought not (who so readeth it, let him marck it well) then let the which be in Iewry, flye vnto the mountaynes:
13:15and let him that is on the house toppe not descede in to the house, ner come therin, to fetch eny thinge out of the house.
13:16And let him that is in the felde, not turne backe to fetch his clothes.
13:17But wo vnto them that are with childe, and to them that geue suck in those dayes.
13:18Neuertheles praye ye, that youre flight be not in the wynter.
13:19For in those dayes there shal be soch trouble as was not from the begynnynge of ye creatures which God created, vnto this tyme, nether shal be.
13:20And yf ye LORDE had not shortened those dayes, there shulde no man be saued. But for the electes sake whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes.
13:21Now yf eny man shal saye vnto you at yt tyme: Lo, here is Christ: lo, he is there, beleue it not.
13:22For there shal aryse false Christes, and false prophetes, which shal do tokens & wonders, to disceaue euen the very chosen, yf it were possyble.
13:23But take ye hede, Beholde, I haue tolde you all before.
13:24But at the same tyme after this trouble, the Sonne and Mone shal lose their light,
13:25and the starres shall fall from heauen, and the powers of the heauens shal moue:
13:26and then shal they se the sonne of man commynge in the cloudes with greate power and glory.
13:27And the shal he sende his angels, and shal gather together his chosen fro the foure wyndes, from one ende of the earth to the other.
13:28Lerne a symilitude of the fyge tre: Wha his braunch is yet teder, and hath brought forth leaues, ye knowe that the Sommer is nye.
13:29So lykewyse wha ye se all these thinges come to passe, be ye sure, that it is nye euen at the dores.
13:30Verely I saye vnto you: this generacio shal not passe, tyll all these be fulfilled.
13:31Heauen and earth shal perishe, but my wordes shal not perishe.
13:32But of that daye and houre knoweth no man, nether the angels in heauen, no not the sonne him self, but the father onely.
13:33Take hede, watch, & praye, for ye knowe not whan the tyme is.
13:34Like as a man that wente in to a straunge countre, and left his house, and gaue his seruauntes auctorite, vnto euery one his worke, and commaunded ye porter, that he shulde watch.
13:35Watch ye therfore, for ye knowe not wha the master of ye house cometh, whether he cometh in the euenynge, or at mydnight, or aboute the cock crowynge, or in the mornynge
13:36that he come not sodenly, and fynde you slepynge.
13:37Loke what I saye vnto you, that saye I vnto all. Watch.

13:1And whanne he wente out of the temple, oon of hise disciplis seide to hym, Maister, biholde, what maner stoonys, and what maner bildyngis.
13:2And Jhesu answeride, and seide to hym, Seest thou alle these grete bildingis? ther schal not be left a stoon on a stoon, which schal not be distried.
13:3And whanne he sat in the mount of Olyues ayens the temple, Petir and James and Joon and Andrew axiden hym bi hem silf,
13:4Seie thou to vs, whanne these thingis schulen be don, and what tokene schal be, whanne alle these thingis schulen bigynne to be endid.
13:5And Jhesus answeride, and bigan to seie to hem, Loke ye, that no man disseyue you;
13:6for manye schulen come in my name, seiynge, That Y am; and thei schulen disseyue manye.
13:7And whanne ye here batels and opynyouns of batels, drede ye not; for it bihoueth these thingis to be doon, but not yit anoon is the ende.
13:8For folk schal rise on folk, and rewme on rewme, and erthe mouyngis and hungur schulen be bi placis; these thingis schulen be bigynnyngis of sorewis.
13:9But se ye you silf, for thei schulen take you in counsels, and ye schulen be betun in synagogis; and ye schulen stonde bifor kyngis and domesmen for me, in witnessyng to hem.
13:10And it bihoueth, that the gospel be first prechid among al folk.
13:11And whanne thei taken you, and leden you forth, nyle ye bifore thenke what ye schulen speke, but speke ye that thing that schal be youun to you in that our; for ye ben not the spekeris, but the Hooli Goost.
13:12For a brother schal bitake the brother in to deth, and the fadir the sone, and sones schulen rise togider ayens fadris and modris, and punysche hem bi deeth.
13:13And ye schulen be in hate to alle men for my name; but he that lastith in to the ende, schal be saaf.
13:14But whanne ye schulen se the abhomynacioun of discoumfort, stondynge where it owith not; he that redith, vndurstonde; thanne thei that be in Judee, fle `in to hillis.
13:15And he that is aboue the roof, come not doun in to the hous, nethir entre he, to take ony thing of his hous;
13:16and he that schal be in the feeld, turne not ayen bihynde to take his cloth.
13:17But wo to hem that ben with child, and norischen in tho daies.
13:18Therfor preye ye, that thei be not don in wyntir.
13:19But thilke daies of tribulacioun schulen be suche, whiche maner weren not fro the bigynnyng of creature, which God hath maad, til now, nethir schulen be.
13:20And but the Lord hadde abredgide tho daies, al fleische hadde not be saaf; but for the chosun whiche he chees, the Lord hath maad schort the daies.
13:21And thanne if ony man seie to you, Lo! here is Crist, lo! there, bileue ye not.
13:22For false Cristis and false prophetis schulen rise, and schulen yyue tokenes and wondris, to disseyue, if it may be don, yhe, hem that be chosun.
13:23Therfor take ye kepe; lo! Y haue bifor seid to you alle thingis.
13:24But in tho daies, aftir that tribulacioun, the sunne schal be maad derk, and the moon schal not yyue hir liyt,
13:25and the sterris of heuene schulen falle doun, and the vertues that ben in heuenes, schulen be moued.
13:26And thanne thei schulen se mannus sone comynge in cloudis of heuene, with greet vertu and glorie.
13:27And thanne he schal sende hise aungelis, and schal geder hise chosun fro the foure wyndis, fro the hiyest thing of erthe til to the hiyest thing of heuene.
13:28But of the fige tree lerne ye the parable. Whanne now his braunche is tendre, and leeues ben sprongun out, ye knowen that somer is nyy.
13:29So whanne ye seen these thingis be don, wite ye, that it is nyy in the doris.
13:30Treuli Y seie to you, that this generacioun schal not passe awei, til alle these thingis be don.
13:31Heuene and erthe schulen passe, but my wordis schulen not passe.
13:32But of that dai or our no man woot, nether aungels in heuene, nether the sone, but the fadir.
13:33Se ye, wake ye, and preie ye; for ye witen not, whanne the tyme is.
13:34For as a man that is gon fer in pilgrimage, lefte his hous, and yaf to his seruauntis power of euery work, and comaundide to the porter, that he wake.
13:35Therfor wake ye, for ye witen not, whanne the lord of the hous cometh, in the euentide, or at mydnyyt, or at cockis crowyng, or in the mornyng;
13:36leste whanne he cometh sodenli, he fynde you slepynge.
13:37Forsothe that that Y seie to you, Y seie to alle, Wake ye.
