| 13:1 | And as he went out of the Temple, one of his disciples saith vnto him, Master, see what maner of stones, and what buildings are here. |
| 13:2 | And Iesus answering, said vnto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone vpon an other, that shal not be throwen downe. |
| 13:3 | And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, ouer against the Temple, Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrew asked him priuately, |
| 13:4 | Tell vs, when shall these things be? And what shalbe the signe when all these things shalbe fulfilled? |
| 13:5 | And Iesus answering them, began to say, Take heed lest any man deceiue you. |
| 13:6 | For many shal come in my Name, saying, I am Christ: and shall deceiue many. |
| 13:7 | And when yee shall heare of warres, and rumors of warres, be yee not troubled: For such things must needs be, but the end shall not be yet. |
| 13:8 | For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdome against kingdome: and there shalbe earthquakes in diuers places, and there shall be famines, and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrowes. |
| 13:9 | But take heed to your selues: for they shall deliuer you vp to councels, and in the Synagogues ye shall be beaten, and ye shalbe brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. |
| 13:10 | And the Gospel must first be published among all nations. |
| 13:11 | But when they shall lead you, and deliuer you vp, take no thought before hand what ye shall speake, neither doe yee premeditate: but whatsoeuer shall bee giuen you in that houre, that speake yee: for it is not yee that speake, but the holy Ghost. |
| 13:12 | Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne: and children shall rise vp against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. |
| 13:13 | And ye shall bee hated of all men for my Names sake: but hee that shall endure vnto the ende, the same shall be saued. |
| 13:14 | But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, standing where it ought not (let him that readeth vnderstand) then let them that be in Iudea, flee to the mountaines: |
| 13:15 | And let him that is on the house top, not goe downe into the house, neither enter therin, to take any thing out of his house. |
| 13:16 | And let him that is in the field, not turne backe againe for to take vp his garment. |
| 13:17 | But woe to them that are with child, and to them that giue suck in those dayes. |
| 13:18 | And pray ye that your flight bee not in the winter. |
| 13:19 | For in those dayes shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created, vnto this time, neither shall be. |
| 13:20 | And except that the Lord had shortened those dayes, no flesh should be saued: but for the elects sake whome he hath chosen, he hath shortned the daies. |
| 13:21 | And then, if any man shall say to you, Loe, here is Christ, or loe, hee is there: beleeue him not. |
| 13:22 | For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, euen the elect. |
| 13:23 | But take ye heed: behold, I haue foretold you all things. |
| 13:24 | But in those dayes, after that tribulation, the Sunne shalbe darkned, and the Moone shall not giue her light. |
| 13:25 | And the Starres of heauen shall fall, and the powers that are in heauen shall be shaken. |
| 13:26 | And then shal they see the Sonne of man comming in the cloudes, with great power and glory. |
| 13:27 | And then shal he send his Angels, and shall gather together his elect from the foure winds, from the vttermost part of the earth, to the vttermost part of heauen. |
| 13:28 | Now learne a parable of the fig tree. When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaues, ye know that summer is neere: |
| 13:29 | So ye in like maner, when ye shal see these things come to passe, knowe that it is nigh, euen at the doores. |
| 13:30 | Uerely I say vnto you, that this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done. |
| 13:31 | Heauen and earth shal passe away: but my words shall not passe away. |
| 13:32 | But of that day and that houre knoweth no man, no not the Angels which are in heauen, neither the Son, but the Father. |
| 13:33 | Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. |
| 13:34 | For the Sonne of man is as a man taking a farre iourney, who left his house, and gaue authority to his seruants, and to euery man his worke, and commanded the porter to watch: |
| 13:35 | Watch ye therefore (for ye knowe not when the master of the house commeth, at Euen, or at midnight, or at the cocke crowing, or in the morning.) |
| 13:36 | Lest comming suddenly, he finde you sleeping. |
| 13:37 | And what I say vnto you, I say vnto all, Watch. |

| 13:2 | And Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: Seist thou all this greate buyldinge? There shal not one stone be left vpo another, yt shal not be broken downe. |

| 13:4 | Tell vs, Whan shal all these come to passe? And what shalbe the toke, wha all these shalbe fulfilled? |
| 13:5 | Iesus answered them, and beganne to saye: Take hede, that no man disceaue you, |
| 13:6 | for there shal many come vnder my name, and saye: I am Christ, & shal disceaue many. |
| 13:7 | But whan ye shal heare of the noyse of warres, be not ye afrayed: for so must it be, but ye ende is not yet. |
| 13:8 | One people shal ryse ageynst another, and one realme ageynst another, and there shal be earth quakes here and there, and derth shal there be and troubles. These are the begynnynge of sorowes. |
| 13:9 | But take ye hede to youre selues. For they shal delyuer you vp to the councels, and synagoges, and ye shal be beaten, and shalbe brought before prynces and kynges for my namessake, for a wytnesse vnto the. |
| 13:10 | And ye gospel must first be preached amoge all people. |
| 13:11 | Now whan they shal lede you and delyuer you vp, take ye no thought afore what ye shal saye: and ymagyn ye nothinge afore hande, but what so euer shal be geue you at the same houre, that speake: for it is not ye that speake, but the holy goost. |
| 13:12 | One brother shal delyuer another vnto death, and the father the sonne, & the children shal ryse ageynst their fathers and mothers, and shal helpe them to death, |
| 13:13 | and ye shal be hated of all men for my names sake. But who so endureth to the ende, shalbe saued. |
| 13:14 | Whan ye shal se the abhominacio of desolacion (wherof it is spoke by Daniel the prophet) stonde where it ought not (who so readeth it, let him marck it well) then let the which be in Iewry, flye vnto the mountaynes: |
| 13:15 | and let him that is on the house toppe not descede in to the house, ner come therin, to fetch eny thinge out of the house. |
| 13:16 | And let him that is in the felde, not turne backe to fetch his clothes. |
| 13:17 | But wo vnto them that are with childe, and to them that geue suck in those dayes. |
| 13:18 | Neuertheles praye ye, that youre flight be not in the wynter. |
| 13:19 | For in those dayes there shal be soch trouble as was not from the begynnynge of ye creatures which God created, vnto this tyme, nether shal be. |
| 13:20 | And yf ye LORDE had not shortened those dayes, there shulde no man be saued. But for the electes sake whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes. |
| 13:21 | Now yf eny man shal saye vnto you at yt tyme: Lo, here is Christ: lo, he is there, beleue it not. |
| 13:22 | For there shal aryse false Christes, and false prophetes, which shal do tokens & wonders, to disceaue euen the very chosen, yf it were possyble. |
| 13:23 | But take ye hede, Beholde, I haue tolde you all before. |
| 13:24 | But at the same tyme after this trouble, the Sonne and Mone shal lose their light, |
| 13:25 | and the starres shall fall from heauen, and the powers of the heauens shal moue: |
| 13:26 | and then shal they se the sonne of man commynge in the cloudes with greate power and glory. |
| 13:27 | And the shal he sende his angels, and shal gather together his chosen fro the foure wyndes, from one ende of the earth to the other. |
| 13:28 | Lerne a symilitude of the fyge tre: Wha his braunch is yet teder, and hath brought forth leaues, ye knowe that the Sommer is nye. |
| 13:29 | So lykewyse wha ye se all these thinges come to passe, be ye sure, that it is nye euen at the dores. |
| 13:30 | Verely I saye vnto you: this generacio shal not passe, tyll all these be fulfilled. |
| 13:31 | Heauen and earth shal perishe, but my wordes shal not perishe. |
| 13:32 | But of that daye and houre knoweth no man, nether the angels in heauen, no not the sonne him self, but the father onely. |
| 13:33 | Take hede, watch, & praye, for ye knowe not whan the tyme is. |
| 13:34 | Like as a man that wente in to a straunge countre, and left his house, and gaue his seruauntes auctorite, vnto euery one his worke, and commaunded ye porter, that he shulde watch. |
| 13:35 | Watch ye therfore, for ye knowe not wha the master of ye house cometh, whether he cometh in the euenynge, or at mydnight, or aboute the cock crowynge, or in the mornynge |
| 13:36 | that he come not sodenly, and fynde you slepynge. |
| 13:37 | Loke what I saye vnto you, that saye I vnto all. Watch. |
| 13:1 | And whanne he wente out of the temple, oon of hise disciplis seide to hym, Maister, biholde, what maner stoonys, and what maner bildyngis. |
| 13:2 | And Jhesu answeride, and seide to hym, Seest thou alle these grete bildingis? ther schal not be left a stoon on a stoon, which schal not be distried. |
| 13:3 | And whanne he sat in the mount of Olyues ayens the temple, Petir and James and Joon and Andrew axiden hym bi hem silf, |
| 13:4 | Seie thou to vs, whanne these thingis schulen be don, and what tokene schal be, whanne alle these thingis schulen bigynne to be endid. |
| 13:5 | And Jhesus answeride, and bigan to seie to hem, Loke ye, that no man disseyue you; |
| 13:6 | for manye schulen come in my name, seiynge, That Y am; and thei schulen disseyue manye. |
| 13:7 | And whanne ye here batels and opynyouns of batels, drede ye not; for it bihoueth these thingis to be doon, but not yit anoon is the ende. |
| 13:8 | For folk schal rise on folk, and rewme on rewme, and erthe mouyngis and hungur schulen be bi placis; these thingis schulen be bigynnyngis of sorewis. |
| 13:9 | But se ye you silf, for thei schulen take you in counsels, and ye schulen be betun in synagogis; and ye schulen stonde bifor kyngis and domesmen for me, in witnessyng to hem. |
| 13:10 | And it bihoueth, that the gospel be first prechid among al folk. |
| 13:11 | And whanne thei taken you, and leden you forth, nyle ye bifore thenke what ye schulen speke, but speke ye that thing that schal be youun to you in that our; for ye ben not the spekeris, but the Hooli Goost. |
| 13:12 | For a brother schal bitake the brother in to deth, and the fadir the sone, and sones schulen rise togider ayens fadris and modris, and punysche hem bi deeth. |
| 13:13 | And ye schulen be in hate to alle men for my name; but he that lastith in to the ende, schal be saaf. |
| 13:14 | But whanne ye schulen se the abhomynacioun of discoumfort, stondynge where it owith not; he that redith, vndurstonde; thanne thei that be in Judee, fle `in to hillis. |
| 13:15 | And he that is aboue the roof, come not doun in to the hous, nethir entre he, to take ony thing of his hous; |
| 13:16 | and he that schal be in the feeld, turne not ayen bihynde to take his cloth. |
| 13:17 | But wo to hem that ben with child, and norischen in tho daies. |
| 13:18 | Therfor preye ye, that thei be not don in wyntir. |
| 13:19 | But thilke daies of tribulacioun schulen be suche, whiche maner weren not fro the bigynnyng of creature, which God hath maad, til now, nethir schulen be. |
| 13:20 | And but the Lord hadde abredgide tho daies, al fleische hadde not be saaf; but for the chosun whiche he chees, the Lord hath maad schort the daies. |
| 13:21 | And thanne if ony man seie to you, Lo! here is Crist, lo! there, bileue ye not. |
| 13:22 | For false Cristis and false prophetis schulen rise, and schulen yyue tokenes and wondris, to disseyue, if it may be don, yhe, hem that be chosun. |
| 13:23 | Therfor take ye kepe; lo! Y haue bifor seid to you alle thingis. |
| 13:24 | But in tho daies, aftir that tribulacioun, the sunne schal be maad derk, and the moon schal not yyue hir liyt, |
| 13:25 | and the sterris of heuene schulen falle doun, and the vertues that ben in heuenes, schulen be moued. |
| 13:26 | And thanne thei schulen se mannus sone comynge in cloudis of heuene, with greet vertu and glorie. |
| 13:27 | And thanne he schal sende hise aungelis, and schal geder hise chosun fro the foure wyndis, fro the hiyest thing of erthe til to the hiyest thing of heuene. |
| 13:28 | But of the fige tree lerne ye the parable. Whanne now his braunche is tendre, and leeues ben sprongun out, ye knowen that somer is nyy. |
| 13:29 | So whanne ye seen these thingis be don, wite ye, that it is nyy in the doris. |
| 13:30 | Treuli Y seie to you, that this generacioun schal not passe awei, til alle these thingis be don. |
| 13:31 | Heuene and erthe schulen passe, but my wordis schulen not passe. |
| 13:32 | But of that dai or our no man woot, nether aungels in heuene, nether the sone, but the fadir. |
| 13:33 | Se ye, wake ye, and preie ye; for ye witen not, whanne the tyme is. |
| 13:34 | For as a man that is gon fer in pilgrimage, lefte his hous, and yaf to his seruauntis power of euery work, and comaundide to the porter, that he wake. |
| 13:35 | Therfor wake ye, for ye witen not, whanne the lord of the hous cometh, in the euentide, or at mydnyyt, or at cockis crowyng, or in the mornyng; |
| 13:36 | leste whanne he cometh sodenli, he fynde you slepynge. |
| 13:37 | Forsothe that that Y seie to you, Y seie to alle, Wake ye. |
