Luke - Chapter: 17


17:1	Then said he to his disciples, It can not be auoided, but that offences will come, but wo be to him by whome they come.
17:2	It is better for him that a great milstone were hanged about his necke, and that he were cast into ye sea, then that he should offende one of these litle ones.
17:3	Take heede to your selues: if thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him: and if hee repent, forgiue him.
17:4	And though he sinne against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, It repenteth mee, thou shalt forgiue him.
17:5	And the Apostles saide vnto the Lord, Increase our faith.
17:6	And the Lord said, If ye had faith, as much as is a graine of mustard seede, and should say vnto this mulberie tree, Plucke thy selfe vp by the rootes, and plant thy selfe in the sea, it should euen obey you.
17:7	Who is it also of you, that hauing a seruant plowing or feeding cattell, woulde say vnto him by and by, when hee were come from the fielde, Goe, and sit downe at table?
17:8	And woulde not rather say to him, Dresse wherewith I may suppe, and girde thy selfe, and serue mee, till I haue eaten and drunken, and afterward eate thou, and drinke thou?
17:9	Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did that which was commanded vnto him? I trowe not.
17:10	So likewise yee, when yee haue done all those things, which are commanded you, say, We are vnprofitable seruants: wee haue done that which was our duetie to doe.
17:11	And so it was when he went to Hierusalem, that he passed through the middes of Samaria, and Galile.
17:12	And as hee entred into a certaine towne, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stoode a farre off.
17:13	And they lift vp their voyces and saide, Iesus, Master, haue mercie on vs.
17:14	And when he saw them, he said vnto them, Goe, shewe your selues vnto the Priestes. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were clensed.
17:15	Then one of them, when hee sawe that hee, was healed, turned backe, and with a loude voyce praised God,
17:16	And fell downe on his face at his feete, and gaue him thankes: and he was a Samaritan.
17:17	And Iesus answered, and said, Are there not tenne clensed? but where are the nine?
17:18	There is none founde that returned to giue God praise, saue this stranger.
17:19	And he saide vnto him, Arise, goe thy way, thy faith hath saued thee.
17:20	And when hee was demaunded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God shoulde come, he answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation.
17:21	Neither shall men say, Loe here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you.
17:22	And he saide vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it.
17:23	Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or beholde there: but goe not thither, neither follow them.
17:24	For as the lightening that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen, so shall the Sonne of man be in his day.
17:25	But first must he suffer many things, and be reprooued of this generation.
17:26	And as it was in the dayes of Noe, so shall it be in the dayes of the Sonne of man.
17:27	They ate, they dranke, they married wiues, and gaue in marriage vnto the day that Noe went into the Arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
17:28	Likewise also, as it was in the dayes of Lot: they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they built.
17:29	But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, and destroyed them all.
17:30	After these ensamples shall it be in the day when the Sonne of man is reueiled.
17:31	At that day hee that is vpon the house, and his stuffe in ye house, let him not come downe to take it out: and he that is in the fielde likewise, let him not turne backe to that he left behinde.
17:32	Remember Lots wife.
17:33	Whosoeuer will seeke to saue his soule, shall loose it: and whosoeuer shall loose it, shall get it life.
17:34	I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe left.
17:35	Two women shalbe grinding together: the one shalbe taken, and the other shalbe left.
17:36	Two shalbe in the fielde: one shalbe receiued, and another shalbe left.
17:37	And they answered, and saide to him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither shall also the eagles bee gathered together.


17:1	Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
17:2	It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
17:3	Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
17:4	And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
17:5	And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
17:6	And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
17:7	But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
17:8	And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
17:9	Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
17:10	So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
17:11	And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
17:12	And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
17:13	And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
17:14	And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
17:15	And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
17:16	And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17:17	And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
17:18	There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
17:19	And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
17:20	And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
17:21	Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
17:22	And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
17:23	And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
17:24	For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
17:25	But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
17:26	And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
17:27	They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
17:28	Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
17:29	But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
17:30	Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
17:31	In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
17:32	Remember Lot's wife.
17:33	Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
17:34	I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
17:35	Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:36	Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:37	And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.


17:1	ειπεν δε προς τους μαθητας ανενδεκτον εστιν του μη ελθειν τα σκανδαλα ουαι δε δι ου ερχεται
17:2	λυσιτελει αυτω ει μυλος ονικος περικειται περι τον τραχηλον αυτου και ερριπται εις την θαλασσαν η ινα σκανδαλιση ενα των μικρων τουτων
17:3	προσεχετε εαυτοις εαν δε αμαρτη εις σε ο αδελφος σου επιτιμησον αυτω και εαν μετανοηση αφες αυτω
17:4	και εαν επτακις της ημερας αμαρτη εις σε και επτακις της ημερας επιστρεψη επι σε λεγων μετανοω αφησεις αυτω
17:5	και ειπον οι αποστολοι τω κυριω προσθες ημιν πιστιν
17:6	ειπεν δε ο κυριος ει ειχετε πιστιν ως κοκκον σιναπεως ελεγετε αν τη συκαμινω ταυτη εκριζωθητι και φυτευθητι εν τη θαλασση και υπηκουσεν αν υμιν
17:7	τις δε εξ υμων δουλον εχων αροτριωντα η ποιμαινοντα ος εισελθοντι εκ του αγρου ερει ευθεως παρελθων αναπεσαι
17:8	αλλ ουχι ερει αυτω ετοιμασον τι δειπνησω και περιζωσαμενος διακονει μοι εως φαγω και πιω και μετα ταυτα φαγεσαι και πιεσαι συ
17:9	μη χαριν εχει τω δουλω εκεινω οτι εποιησεν τα διαταχθεντα αυτω ου δοκω
17:10	ουτως και υμεις οταν ποιησητε παντα τα διαταχθεντα υμιν λεγετε οτι δουλοι αχρειοι εσμεν οτι ο ωφειλομεν ποιησαι πεποιηκαμεν
17:11	και εγενετο εν τω πορευεσθαι αυτον εις ιερουσαλημ και αυτος διηρχετο δια μεσου σαμαρειας και γαλιλαιας
17:12	και εισερχομενου αυτου εις τινα κωμην απηντησαν αυτω δεκα λεπροι ανδρες οι εστησαν πορρωθεν
17:13	και αυτοι ηραν φωνην λεγοντες ιησου επιστατα ελεησον ημας
17:14	και ιδων ειπεν αυτοις πορευθεντες επιδειξατε εαυτους τοις ιερευσιν και εγενετο εν τω υπαγειν αυτους εκαθαρισθησαν
17:15	εις δε εξ αυτων ιδων οτι ιαθη υπεστρεψεν μετα φωνης μεγαλης δοξαζων τον θεον
17:16	και επεσεν επι προσωπον παρα τους ποδας αυτου ευχαριστων αυτω και αυτος ην σαμαρειτης
17:17	αποκριθεις δε ο ιησους ειπεν ουχι οι δεκα εκαθαρισθησαν οι δε εννεα που
17:18	ουχ ευρεθησαν υποστρεψαντες δουναι δοξαν τω θεω ει μη ο αλλογενης ουτος
17:19	και ειπεν αυτω αναστας πορευου η πιστις σου σεσωκεν σε
17:20	επερωτηθεις δε υπο των φαρισαιων ποτε ερχεται η βασιλεια του θεου απεκριθη αυτοις και ειπεν ουκ ερχεται η βασιλεια του θεου μετα παρατηρησεως
17:21	ουδε ερουσιν ιδου ωδε η ιδου εκει ιδου γαρ η βασιλεια του θεου εντος υμων εστιν
17:22	ειπεν δε προς τους μαθητας ελευσονται ημεραι οτε επιθυμησετε μιαν των ημερων του υιου του ανθρωπου ιδειν και ουκ οψεσθε
17:23	και ερουσιν υμιν ιδου ωδε η ιδου εκει μη απελθητε μηδε διωξητε
17:24	ωσπερ γαρ η αστραπη η αστραπτουσα εκ της υπ ουρανον εις την υπ ουρανον λαμπει ουτως εσται και ο υιος του ανθρωπου εν τη ημερα αυτου
17:25	πρωτον δε δει αυτον πολλα παθειν και αποδοκιμασθηναι απο της γενεας ταυτης
17:26	και καθως εγενετο εν ταις ημεραις του νωε ουτως εσται και εν ταις ημεραις του υιου του ανθρωπου
17:27	ησθιον επινον εγαμουν εξεγαμιζοντο αχρι ης ημερας εισηλθεν νωε εις την κιβωτον και ηλθεν ο κατακλυσμος και απωλεσεν απαντας
17:28	ομοιως και ως εγενετο εν ταις ημεραις λωτ ησθιον επινον ηγοραζον επωλουν εφυτευον ωκοδομουν
17:29	η δε ημερα εξηλθεν λωτ απο σοδομων εβρεξεν πυρ και θειον απ ουρανου και απωλεσεν απαντας
17:30	κατα ταυτα εσται η ημερα ο υιος του ανθρωπου αποκαλυπτεται
17:31	εν εκεινη τη ημερα ος εσται επι του δωματος και τα σκευη αυτου εν τη οικια μη καταβατω αραι αυτα και ο εν τω αγρω ομοιως μη επιστρεψατω εις τα οπισω
17:32	μνημονευετε της γυναικος λωτ
17:33	ος εαν ζητηση την ψυχην αυτου σωσαι απολεσει αυτην και ος εαν απολεση αυτην ζωογονησει αυτην
17:34	λεγω υμιν ταυτη τη νυκτι εσονται δυο επι κλινης μιας ο εις παραληφθησεται και ο ετερος αφεθησεται
17:35	δυο εσονται αληθουσαι επι το αυτο μια παραληφθησεται και η ετερα αφεθησεται
