Luke - Chapter: 17

>
17:1Then said he vnto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come, but wo vnto him through whom they come.
17:2It were better for him that a milstone were hanged about his necke, and he cast into the Sea, then that he should offend one of these little ones.
17:3Take heed to your selues: If thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him, and if he repent, forgiue him.
17:4And if hee trespasse against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgiue him.
17:5And the Apostles said vnto the Lord, Increase our faith.
17:6And the Lord said, If yee had faith as a graine of mustard seede, yee might say vnto this Sycamine tree, Be thou plucked vp by the root, and be thou planted in the sea, & it should obey you.
17:7But which of you hauing a seruant plowing, or feeding cattell, will say vnto him by & by when he is come from the field, Goe and sit downe to meate?
17:8And will not rather say vnto him, Make ready wherewith I may suppe, and gird thy selfe, and serue me, till I haue eaten and drunken: and afterward thou shalt eate and drinke.
17:9Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
17:10So likewise ye, when ye shal haue done all those things which are commanded you, say, Wee are vnprofitable seruants: Wee haue done that which was our duety to doe.
17:11And it came to passe, as he went to Hierusalem, that hee passed thorow the mids of Samaria and Galile.
17:12And as he entred into a certaine village, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stood afarre off.
17:13And they lifted vp their voices, and said, Iesus master haue mercy on vs.
17:14And when he saw them, hee said vnto them, Goe shew your selues vnto the Priests. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were cleansed.
17:15And one of them when hee sawe that he was healed, turned backe, and with a loud voice glorified God,
17:16And fell downe on his face at his feet, giuing him thanks: and he was a Samaritane.
17:17And Iesus answering, said, Were there not ten cleansed, but where are the nine?
17:18There are not found that returned to giue glory to God, saue this stranger.
17:19And he said vnto him, Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole.
17:20And when hee was demanded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God should come, hee answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation.
17:21Neither shall they say, Loe here, or loe there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you.
17:22And hee said vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it.
17:23And they shall say to you, See here, or see there: Goe not after them, nor follow them.
17:24For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen: so shall also the Sonne of man be in his day.
17:25But first must hee suffer many things, & be reiected of this generation.
17:26And as it was in the dayes of Noe: so shal it be also in the dayes of the Sonne of man.
17:27They did eate, they dranke, they married wiues, they were giuen in mariage, vntill the day that Noe entred into the arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
17:28Likewise also as it was in the dayes of Lot, they did eat, they dranke, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded:
17:29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodome, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, & destroyed them all:
17:30Euen thus shall it bee in the day when the Sonne of man is reuealed.
17:31In that day he which shall be vpon the house top, and his stuffe in the house, let him not come downe to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not returne backe.
17:32Remember Lots wife.
17:33Whosoeuer shall seeke to saue his life, shall lose it, and whosoeuer shall lose his life, shall preserue it.
17:34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shal be taken, the other shall be left.
17:35Two women shall bee grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:37And they answered, and said vnto him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither will the Eagles be gathered together.

17:1Then said he to his disciples, It can not be auoided, but that offences will come, but wo be to him by whome they come.
17:2It is better for him that a great milstone were hanged about his necke, and that he were cast into ye sea, then that he should offende one of these litle ones.
17:3Take heede to your selues: if thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him: and if hee repent, forgiue him.
17:4And though he sinne against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, It repenteth mee, thou shalt forgiue him.
17:5And the Apostles saide vnto the Lord, Increase our faith.
17:6And the Lord said, If ye had faith, as much as is a graine of mustard seede, and should say vnto this mulberie tree, Plucke thy selfe vp by the rootes, and plant thy selfe in the sea, it should euen obey you.
17:7Who is it also of you, that hauing a seruant plowing or feeding cattell, woulde say vnto him by and by, when hee were come from the fielde, Goe, and sit downe at table?
17:8And woulde not rather say to him, Dresse wherewith I may suppe, and girde thy selfe, and serue mee, till I haue eaten and drunken, and afterward eate thou, and drinke thou?
17:9Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did that which was commanded vnto him? I trowe not.
17:10So likewise yee, when yee haue done all those things, which are commanded you, say, We are vnprofitable seruants: wee haue done that which was our duetie to doe.
17:11And so it was when he went to Hierusalem, that he passed through the middes of Samaria, and Galile.
17:12And as hee entred into a certaine towne, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stoode a farre off.
17:13And they lift vp their voyces and saide, Iesus, Master, haue mercie on vs.
17:14And when he saw them, he said vnto them, Goe, shewe your selues vnto the Priestes. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were clensed.
17:15Then one of them, when hee sawe that hee, was healed, turned backe, and with a loude voyce praised God,
17:16And fell downe on his face at his feete, and gaue him thankes: and he was a Samaritan.
17:17And Iesus answered, and said, Are there not tenne clensed? but where are the nine?
17:18There is none founde that returned to giue God praise, saue this stranger.
17:19And he saide vnto him, Arise, goe thy way, thy faith hath saued thee.
17:20And when hee was demaunded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God shoulde come, he answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation.
17:21Neither shall men say, Loe here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you.
17:22And he saide vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it.
17:23Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or beholde there: but goe not thither, neither follow them.
17:24For as the lightening that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen, so shall the Sonne of man be in his day.
17:25But first must he suffer many things, and be reprooued of this generation.
17:26And as it was in the dayes of Noe, so shall it be in the dayes of the Sonne of man.
17:27They ate, they dranke, they married wiues, and gaue in marriage vnto the day that Noe went into the Arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
17:28Likewise also, as it was in the dayes of Lot: they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they built.
17:29But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, and destroyed them all.
17:30After these ensamples shall it be in the day when the Sonne of man is reueiled.
17:31At that day hee that is vpon the house, and his stuffe in ye house, let him not come downe to take it out: and he that is in the fielde likewise, let him not turne backe to that he left behinde.
17:32Remember Lots wife.
17:33Whosoeuer will seeke to saue his soule, shall loose it: and whosoeuer shall loose it, shall get it life.
17:34I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe left.
17:35Two women shalbe grinding together: the one shalbe taken, and the other shalbe left.
17:36Two shalbe in the fielde: one shalbe receiued, and another shalbe left.
17:37And they answered, and saide to him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither shall also the eagles bee gathered together.

17:1He sayde vnto the disciples: it cannot be: but offences wyll come. Neuerthelesse wo vnto hym thorow whom they come.
17:2It were better for him that a mylstone were hanged aboute his neck, and he cast into the see, then that he shulde offende one of these lytleons.
17:3Take hede to youre selues. If thy brother trespas agaynst the, rebuke hym:
17:4and yf he repent, forgeue hym. And though he synne agaynst the seuen tymes in a daye, and seuen tymes in a daye tourne agayne to the, sayinge: it repenteth me, thou shalt forgeue hym.
17:5And the Apostles sayde vnto the Lorde: increase oure fayth.
17:6And the Lorde sayde: yf ye had fayth lyke a grayne of mustarde sede, & shuld saye vnto this Sycamyne tree, plucke thy selfe vp by the rootes, and plant thy selfe in the see: it shulde obey you.
17:7Who is it of you; yf he had a seruaunte plowynge or fedynge catell, that wyll saye vnto hym when he commeth from the felde: Go quyckly, and syt downe to meat,
17:8& sayth not rather vnto him, dresse, wherwt I maye supp, & gyrde vp thy selfe, and serue me, tyll I haue eaten and droncken: and afterward, eate thou, and drincke thou?
17:9Doeth he thanke that seruaunt, because he dyd the thynges that were commaunded vnto him? I trowe not.
17:10So lyke wyse ye, when ye haue done all those thynges which are commaunded you, saye: we are vnprofitable seruauntes. We haue done that, which was oure duety to do.
17:11And it chaunsed as he went to Ierusalem, that he passed thorow Samaria and Galile,
17:12And as he entred into a certayne towne, ther met him ten men that were lepers. Which stode a farre of,
17:13and put forth theyr voyces and sayde: Iesu master, haue mercy on vs.
17:14When he sawe them he sayd vnto them: Go, shewe youre selues vnto the Prestes. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were clensed
17:15And one of them, when he sawe that he was clensed, turned backe agayne, & with a loude voyce praysed God,
17:16and fell doune on hys face at hys fete, and gaue hym thankes. And the same was a Samaritane.
17:17And Iesus answered, & sayde: are ther not ten clensed? But where are those nyne?
17:18Ther are not founde that returned agayne, to geue God prayse, saue only this straunger.
17:19And he sayd vnto him: aryse, go thy waye, thy fayth hath made the whoale.
17:20When he was demaunded of the Pharises, when the kyngdome of God shulde come, he answered them and sayd: The kyngdome of God shall not come with wayting for,
17:21nether shal they saye. Lo here, Or lo there: For beholde the kyngdome of God is within you.
17:22And he sayde vnto the disciples: the dayes wyll come, when ye shall desyre to se one daye of the sonne of man, and ye shall not se it.
17:23And they shall saye to you: Se here, Se there. Go not after them, nor folowe them:
17:24for as the lyghtenynge that apereth out of the one parte that is vnder heauen, & shyneth vnto the other parte which is vnder heauen, so shall the sonne of man be in hys dayes.
17:25But fyrst must he suffre many thynges & be refused of this nacion.
17:26And as it happened in the dayes of Noe: so shall it be also in the dayes of the sonne of man.
17:27They dyd eate & dryncke, they maryed wyues and were maried, euen vnto that same daye that Noe went into the Arke: and the floude cam, and destroyed them all.
17:28Lykewyse also as it chaunced in the dayes of Lot. They dyd eate, they drancke, they bought, they solde they planted, they buylded:
17:29But euen the same daye that Lot went out of Zodom, it rayned with fyre and brymstone from heauen, & destroyed them all.
17:30Euen thus, shall it be in the daye, when the sonne of man shall appere.
17:31At that daye he that is on the house topp, and his stuffe in the house: let him not come downe to take it out. And let not him that is in the felde, turne backe agayne to the thinges that he lefte behinde.
17:32Remember Lottes wyfe.
17:33Whosoeuer wyll go aboute to saue his lyfe, shal lose it: and whosoeuer shall lose his lyfe, shall saue it.
17:34I tell you: in that night ther shalbe two in one bed, the one shalbe receaued, the other shalbe forsaken:
17:35Two shalbe agryndynge together: the one shalbe receaued, and the other forsaken.
17:36n/a
17:37And they answered, and sayd to him, where Lorde. He sayde vnto them: whersoeuer the body shalbe, thyther wyll also that Egles be gathered together.
