14:1	Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
14:2	In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3	And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
14:4	And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
14:5	Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
14:6	Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
14:7	If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
14:8	Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
14:9	Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
14:10	Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
14:11	Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
14:12	Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
14:13	And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14	If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
14:15	If ye love me, keep my commandments.
14:16	And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
14:17	Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
14:18	I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
14:19	Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
14:20	At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
14:21	He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
14:22	Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
14:23	Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
14:24	He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
14:25	These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
14:26	But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
14:27	Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
14:28	Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
14:29	And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
14:30	Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
14:31	But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.


14:1	μη ταρασσεσθω υμων η καρδια πιστευετε εις τον θεον και εις εμε πιστευετε
14:2	εν τη οικια του πατρος μου μοναι πολλαι εισιν ει δε μη ειπον αν υμιν πορευομαι ετοιμασαι τοπον υμιν
14:3	και εαν πορευθω και ετοιμασω υμιν τοπον παλιν ερχομαι και παραληψομαι υμας προς εμαυτον ινα οπου ειμι εγω και υμεις ητε
14:4	και οπου εγω υπαγω οιδατε και την οδον οιδατε
14:5	λεγει αυτω θωμας κυριε ουκ οιδαμεν που υπαγεις και πως δυναμεθα την οδον ειδεναι
14:6	λεγει αυτω ο ιησους εγω ειμι η οδος και η αληθεια και η ζωη ουδεις ερχεται προς τον πατερα ει μη δι εμου
14:7	ει εγνωκειτε με και τον πατερα μου εγνωκειτε αν και απ αρτι γινωσκετε αυτον και εωρακατε αυτον
14:8	λεγει αυτω φιλιππος κυριε δειξον ημιν τον πατερα και αρκει ημιν
14:9	λεγει αυτω ο ιησους τοσουτον χρονον μεθ υμων ειμι και ουκ εγνωκας με φιλιππε ο εωρακως εμε εωρακεν τον πατερα και πως συ λεγεις δειξον ημιν τον πατερα
14:10	ου πιστευεις οτι εγω εν τω πατρι και ο πατηρ εν εμοι εστιν τα ρηματα α εγω λαλω υμιν απ εμαυτου ου λαλω ο δε πατηρ ο εν εμοι μενων αυτος ποιει τα εργα
14:11	πιστευετε μοι οτι εγω εν τω πατρι και ο πατηρ εν εμοι ει δε μη δια τα εργα αυτα πιστευετε μοι
14:12	αμην αμην λεγω υμιν ο πιστευων εις εμε τα εργα α εγω ποιω κακεινος ποιησει και μειζονα τουτων ποιησει οτι εγω προς τον πατερα μου πορευομαι
14:13	και ο τι αν αιτησητε εν τω ονοματι μου τουτο ποιησω ινα δοξασθη ο πατηρ εν τω υιω
14:14	εαν τι αιτησητε εν τω ονοματι μου εγω ποιησω
14:15	εαν αγαπατε με τας εντολας τας εμας τηρησατε
14:16	και εγω ερωτησω τον πατερα και αλλον παρακλητον δωσει υμιν ινα μενη μεθ υμων εις τον αιωνα
14:17	το πνευμα της αληθειας ο ο κοσμος ου δυναται λαβειν οτι ου θεωρει αυτο ουδε γινωσκει αυτο υμεις δε γινωσκετε αυτο οτι παρ υμιν μενει και εν υμιν εσται
14:18	ουκ αφησω υμας ορφανους ερχομαι προς υμας
14:19	ετι μικρον και ο κοσμος με ουκ ετι θεωρει υμεις δε θεωρειτε με οτι εγω ζω και υμεις ζησεσθε
14:20	εν εκεινη τη ημερα γνωσεσθε υμεις οτι εγω εν τω πατρι μου και υμεις εν εμοι καγω εν υμιν
14:21	ο εχων τας εντολας μου και τηρων αυτας εκεινος εστιν ο αγαπων με ο δε αγαπων με αγαπηθησεται υπο του πατρος μου και εγω αγαπησω αυτον και εμφανισω αυτω εμαυτον
14:22	λεγει αυτω ιουδας ουχ ο ισκαριωτης κυριε τι γεγονεν οτι ημιν μελλεις εμφανιζειν σεαυτον και ουχι τω κοσμω
14:23	απεκριθη ο ιησους και ειπεν αυτω εαν τις αγαπα με τον λογον μου τηρησει και ο πατηρ μου αγαπησει αυτον και προς αυτον ελευσομεθα και μονην παρ αυτω ποιησομεν
14:24	ο μη αγαπων με τους λογους μου ου τηρει και ο λογος ον ακουετε ουκ εστιν εμος αλλα του πεμψαντος με πατρος
14:25	ταυτα λελαληκα υμιν παρ υμιν μενων
14:26	ο δε παρακλητος το πνευμα το αγιον ο πεμψει ο πατηρ εν τω ονοματι μου εκεινος υμας διδαξει παντα και υπομνησει υμας παντα α ειπον υμιν
14:27	ειρηνην αφιημι υμιν ειρηνην την εμην διδωμι υμιν ου καθως ο κοσμος διδωσιν εγω διδωμι υμιν μη ταρασσεσθω υμων η καρδια μηδε δειλιατω
14:28	ηκουσατε οτι εγω ειπον υμιν υπαγω και ερχομαι προς υμας ει ηγαπατε με εχαρητε αν οτι ειπον πορευομαι προς τον πατερα οτι ο πατηρ μου μειζων μου εστιν
14:29	και νυν ειρηκα υμιν πριν γενεσθαι ινα οταν γενηται πιστευσητε
14:30	ουκ ετι πολλα λαλησω μεθ υμων ερχεται γαρ ο του κοσμου τουτου αρχων και εν εμοι ουκ εχει ουδεν
14:31	αλλ ινα γνω ο κοσμος οτι αγαπω τον πατερα και καθως ενετειλατο μοι ο πατηρ ουτως ποιω εγειρεσθε αγωμεν εντευθεν


14:1	And he sayd vnto his disciples: Let not youre hertes be troubled. Beleve in god and beleve in me.
14:2	In my fathers housse are many mansions. If it were not so I wolde have tolde you. I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3	And yf I go to prepare a place for you I will come agayne and receave you eve vnto my selfe yt where I am there maye ye be also.
14:4	And whither I go ye knowe and ye waye ye knowe.
14:5	Thomas sayde vnto him: Lorde we knowe not whyther thou goest. Also how is it possible for vs to knowe the waye?
14:6	Iesus sayd vnto him: I am ye waye ye truthe and ye life. And no man cometh vnto the father but by me.
14:7	Yf ye had knowe me ye had knowe my father also. And now ye knowe him and have sene him.
14:8	Philip sayd vnto him: Lorde shew vs the father and it suffiseth vs.
14:9	Iesus sayde vnto him: have I bene so longe tyme wt you: and yet hast thou not knowen me? Philip he yt hath sene me hath sene ye father. And how sayest thou then: shew vs the father?
14:10	Belevest thou not that I am in ye father and the father in me? The wordes that I speake vnto you I speakee not of my selfe: but ye father that dwelleth in me is he that doeth ye workes.
14:11	Beleve me that I am the father and ye father in me. At the leest beleve me for the very workes sake.
14:12	Verely verely I saye vnto you: he that beleveth on me the workes that I doo the same shall he do and greater workes then these shall he do because I go vnto my father.
14:13	And what soever ye axe in my name yt will I do yt the father might be glorified by the sonne.
14:14	Yf ye shall axe eny thige in my name I will do it
14:15	If ye love me kepe my comaundementes
14:16	and I will praye the father and he shall geve you a nother comforter yt he maye byde with you ever
14:17	which is the sprete of truthe whome the worlde canot receave because the worlde seyth him not nether knoweth him. But ye knowe him. For he dwelleth with you and shalbe in you.
14:18	I will not leave you comfortlesse: but will come vnto you.
14:19	Yet a litell whyle and the worlde seith me no moare: but ye shall se me. For I live and ye shall live.
14:20	That daye shall ye knowe that I am in my father and you in me and I in you
14:21	He that hath my comaundemetes and kepeth them the same is he that loveth me. And he yt loveth me shall be loved of my father: and I will love him and will shewe myne awne selfe vnto him.
14:22	Iudas sayde vnto him (not Iudas Iscarioth) Lorde what is the cause that thou wilt shewe thy selfe vnto vs and not vnto the worlde?
14:23	Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: yf a man love me and wyll kepe my sayinges my father also will love him and we will come vnto him and will dwelle with him.
14:24	He that loveth me not kepeth not my sayinges. And the wordes which ye heare are not myne but the fathers which sent me.
14:25	This have I spoken vnto you beynge yet present with you.
14:26	But that coforter which is the holy gost (whom my father will sende in my name) he shall teache you all thinges and bringe all thinges to youre remembraunce whatsoever I have tolde you.
14:27	Peace I leve with you my peace I geve vnto you. Not as the worlde geveth geve I vnto you. Let not youre hertes be greved nether feare ye.
14:28	Ye have hearde how I sayde vnto you: I go and come agayne vnto you. If ye loved me ye wolde verely reioyce because I sayde I go vnto ye father. For ye father is greater then I
14:29	And now have I shewed you before it come yt whe it is come to passe ye might beleve.
14:30	Here after will I not talke many mordes vnto you. For the rular of this worlde commeth and hath nought in me.
14:31	But that the worlde maye knowe that I love the father: therfore as the father gave me comaundment even so do I. Ryse let vs go hence.
