>
21:1After warde dyd Iesus shewe hym selfe agayne, at the see of Tyberias. And on this wyse shewed he him selfe
21:2There were together Symon Peter & Thomas (which is called Didymus) and Nathanael of Cana in Galile, and the sonnes of Zebeddei, and two other of hys disciples.
21:3Simon Peter sayeth vnto them: I wyll go a fisshinge. They saye vnto him: we also wyll go with the. They went theyr waye & entred into a shyppe immediatly, & that night caught they nothinge.
21:4But when the mornynge was now come, Iesus stode on the shore: neuerthelesse the disciples knewe not that it was Iesus.
21:5Iesus sayeth vnto them: Children, haue ye eny meat? they answered him, no.
21:6And he saieth vnto them: cast out the net on the ryght syde of the ship, & ye shall fynde. They cast out therfore, and anone they were not hable to drawe it for the multitude of fysshes.
21:7Then sayde the disciple whom Iesus loued vnto Peter: It is the Lord: When Symon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he gyrde his coate vnto him (for he was naked) & sprange into the see.
21:8The other disciples came by shyp for they were not farre from lande, but as yt were two hondred cubites, & they drewe the net wt fisshes.
21:9Assone then as they were come to lande, they sawe hoote coles, & fisshe layd theron, & breed.
21:10Iesus sayeth vnto them. brynge of the fysshe which ye haue now caught:
21:11Symon Peter went vp, & drewe the net to londe full of great fysshes, an hondred & .liij. And for all ther were so many, yet was not the net broken.
21:12Iesus sayeth vnto them: come & dyne. And none of the discyples durst aske him: what art thou? For they knewe that it was the Lorde.
21:13Iesus then came, and toke breed, & gaue them, and fisshe lykewyse.
21:14This is nowe the thyrde tyme that Iesus appeared to hys discyples, after that he was rysed agayne from deeth.
21:15So when they had dyned, Iesus sayeth to Simon Peter: Symon Ioanna, louest thou me more then these? He sayd vnto him: ye Lord, thou knowest, that I loue the. He sayeth vnto him: fede my lambes.
21:16He sayeth to him agayne the seconde tyme: Symon Ioanna, louest thou me? He saieth vnto him. Yee Lord, thou knowest that I loue the. He sayde vnto him: fede my shepe.
21:17He sayde vnto him the thyrde tyme: Symon Ioanna, louest thou me? Peter was sory, because he sayde vnto hym the thyrde tyme: louest thou me, and he sayde vnto hym: Lord, thou knowest all thinges, thou knowest that I loue the, Iesus saieth vnto him: fede my shepe.
21:18Uerely, verely, I saye vnto the: when thou wast yong, thou gerdedst thy selfe, and walkedst whither thou woldest: but when thou art olde, thou shalt stretche forth thy handes, & another shall gyrde the, & leade the whyther thou woldest not.
21:19That spake he, sygnyfyinge, by what death he shuld glorifye God. And when he had spoken thys, he sayeth vnto him: folowe me.
21:20Peter turned about, and sawe the disciple whom Iesus loued, folowynge (which also leaned on hys brest at supper, and sayde: Lord, which is he that betrayeth the?)
21:21When Peter therfore sawe him, he sayeth to Iesus: Lord, what shall he here do?
21:22Iesus sayeth vnto hym, If I wyll haue him to tary tyll I come, what is that to ther folowe thou me.
21:23Then went thys sayinge abroade among the brethren, that the discyple shulde not dye. Yet Iesus sayde not to hym, he shall not dye: but yf I wyll that he tary tyll I come, what is that to the?
21:24The same dyscyple is he, which testifieth of these thynges, and wrote these thynges. And we knowe, that hys testimony is true.
21:25There are also many other thynges which Iesus dyd, the which yf they shulde be wrytten euery one, I suppose the worlde coulde not contayne the bokes that shulde be wrytten.

21:1Afterward Jhesus eftsoone schewide hym to hise disciplis, at the see of Tiberias.
21:2And he schewide him thus. There weren togidere Symount Petre, and Thomas, that is seid Didimus, and Nathanael, that was of the Cane of Galilee, and the sones of Zebedee, and tweyne othere of hise disciplis.

21:4But whanne the morewe was comun, Jhesus stood in the brenke; netheles the disciplis knewen not, that it was Jhesus.
21:5Therfor Jhesus seith to hem, Children, whethir ye han ony souping thing? Thei answeriden to hym, Nay. He seide to hem,
21:6Putte ye the nett in to the riyt half of the rowing, and ye schulen fynde. And thei puttiden the nett; and thanne thei miyten not drawe it for multitude of fischis.
21:7Therfor thilke disciple, whom Jhesus louede, seide to Petre, It is the Lord. Symount Petre, whanne he hadde herd that it is the Lord, girte hym with a coote, for he was nakid, and wente in to the see.
21:8But the othere disciplis camen bi boot, for thei weren not fer fro the lond, but as a two hundrid cubitis, drawinge the nett of fischis.
21:9And as thei camen doun in to the lond, thei sayn coolis liynge, and a fisch leid on, and breed.
21:10Jhesus seith to hem, Bringe ye of the fyschis, whiche ye han takun now.
21:11Symount Petre wente vp, and drowy the nett in to the lond, ful of grete fischis, an hundrid fifti and thre; and whanne thei weren so manye, the nett was not brokun.
21:12Jhesus seith to hem, Come ye, ete ye. And no man of hem that saten at the mete, durste axe hym, Who art thou, witinge that it is the Lord.
21:13And Jhesus cam, and took breed, an yaf to hem, and fisch also.
21:14Now this thridde tyme Jhesus was schewid to hise disciplis, whanne he hadde risun ayen fro deth.
21:15And whanne thei hadde etun, Jhesus seith to Simount Petre, Symount of Joon, louest thou me more than these? He seith to him, Yhe, Lord, thou woost that Y loue thee. Jhesus seith to hym, Fede thou my lambren.
21:16Eft he seith to hym, Symount of Joon, louest thou me? He seith to him, Yhe, Lord, thou woost that Y loue thee. He seith to him, Fede thou my lambren.
21:17He seith to him the thridde tyme, Simount of Joon, louest thou me? Petre was heuy, for he seith to hym the thridde tyme, Louest thou me, and he seith to him, Lord, thou knowist alle thingis; thou woost that Y loue thee. Jhesus seith to hym, Fede my scheep.
21:18Treuli, treuli, Y seie to thee, whanne thou were yongere, thou girdidist thee, and wandridist where thou woldist; but whanne thou schalt waxe eldere, thou schalt holde forth thin hondis, and another schal girde thee, and schal lede thee whidur thou wolt not.
21:19He seide this thing, signifynge bi what deth he schulde glorifie God. And whanne he hadde seid these thingis, he seith to hym, Sue thou me.
21:20Petre turnede, and say thilke disciple suynge, whom Jhesus louede, which also restid in the soper on his brest, and he seide to hym, Lord, who is it, that schal bitraie thee?
21:21Therfor whanne Petre hadde seyn this, he seith to Jhesu, Lord, but what this?
21:22Jhesus seith to him, So I wole that he dwelle til that Y come, what to thee? sue thou me.
21:23Therfor this word wente out among the britheren, that thilke disciple dieth not. And Jhesus seide not to hym, that he dieth not, but, So Y wole that he dwelle til Y come, what to thee?
21:24This is thilke disciple, that berith witnessyng of these thingis, and wroot hem; and we witen, that his witnessyng is trewe.
21:25And ther ben also manye othere thingis that Jhesus dide, whiche if thei ben writun bi ech bi hym silf, Y deme that the world hym silf schal not take tho bookis, that ben to be writun.

21:1After that shewed Iesus himself agayne at the see of Tiberias But on this wyse shewed he himself.

21:6He sayde vnto the: Cast out the nett on ye right syde of the shippe, & ye shal fynde. The they cast out, & coulde nomore drawe it for ye multitude of fishes.
21:7The sayde ye disciple who Iesus loued, vnto Peter: It is the LORDE.Whan Simon Peter herde that is was the LORDE, he gyrde his mantell aboute him (for he was naked) and sprange in to ye see.
21:8But other disciples came by shippe (for they were not farre fro londe, but as it were two hundreth cubytes) and they drewe the net with the fisshes.
21:9Now whan they were come to londe, they sawe coles layed, and fysh theron, and bred.
21:10Iesus sayde vnto the: Bringe hither of the fyshes, that ye haue taken now.
21:11Symon Peter stepped forth, and drew the nett to the londe, full of greate fysshes, an hundreth and thre and fyftie. And for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
21:12Iesus sayde vnto them: Come, and dyne. But none of the disciples durst axe him: Who art thou? For they knewe, that it was the LORDE.
21:13Then came Iesus, and toke ye bred, and gaue it the: and the fysshe likewyse.
21:14This is now the thirde tyme that Iesus appeared vnto his disciples, after that he was rysen agayne from the deed.

21:17He saide vnto him ye thirde tyme: Symon Iohana, louest thou me? Peter was sory, because he sayde vnto him, louest thou me? And he sayde vnto him: LORDE, thou knowest all thinges, thou knowest, that I loue ye. Iesus sayde vnto him: Fede my shepe.
21:18Verely verely I saye vnto the: Whan thou wast yoge, thou gerdedst thyselfe, and walkedst whither thou woldest. But wha thou art olde, thou shalt stretch forth thy handes, and another shal gyrde the, and lede the whither thou woldest not.
21:19But this he sayde, to signifye with what death he shulde glorifye God.Whan he had spoken this, he sayde vnto him: Folowe me.
21:20Peter turned him aboute, and sawe the disciple folowinge, whom Iesus loued, ( which also leaned vpo his brest at the supper, and sayde: LORDE, who is it that betrayeth the)?
21:21Wha Peter sawe him, he sayde vnto Iesus: LORDE, but what shal he do?
21:22Iesus sayde vnto him: Yf I wil that he tary tyll I come, what is that to the? Folowe thou me.
21:23Then wente there out a sayenge amonge the brethren: This disciple dyeth not. And Iesus sayde not vnto him: He dyeth not, but: Yf I wil that he tary tyll I come, what is that to the?
21:24This is the same disciple, which testifyeth of these thinges, and wrote these thinges, and we knowe that his testimony is true.
21:25There are many other thinges also that Iesus dyd, which, yf they shulde be wrytte euery one, I suppose the worlde shulde not contayne the bokes, that were to be wrytten.
