9:1	And Saul yet breathing out threatnings & slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went vnto the high Priest,
9:2	And desired of him letters to Damascus, to the Synagogues, that if hee found any of this way, whether they were men or women, hee might bring them bound vnto Hierusalem.
9:3	And as he iourneyed he came neere Damascus, and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heauen.
9:4	And he fel to the earth, and heard a voice saying vnto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
9:5	And he said, Who art thou Lord? And the Lord said, I am Iesus whom thou persecutest: It is hard for thee to kicke against the prickes.
9:6	And he trembling and astonished, said, Lord, what wilt thou haue mee to doe? And the Lord said vnto him, Arise, and goe into the citie, and it shall be told thee what thou must doe.
9:7	And the men which iourneyed with him, stood speechlesse, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
9:8	And Saul arose from the earth, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9:9	And he was three dayes without sight, and neither did eate, nor drinke.
9:10	And there was a certaine disciple at Damascus, named Ananias, and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
9:11	And the Lord said vnto him, Arise, and goe into the street, which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Iudas, for one called Saul of Tarsus: for behold, he prayeth,
9:12	And hath seene in a vision a man named Ananias, comming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receiue his sight.
9:13	Then Ananias answered, Lord, I haue heard by many of this man, how much euill hee hath done to thy Saints at Hierusalem:
9:14	And here he hath authoritic from the chiefe Priests, to binde all that call on thy Name.
9:15	But the Lord said vnto him, Goe thy way: for hee is a chosen vessell vnto me, to beare my Name before the Gentiles, and Kings, and the children of Israel.
9:16	For I will shew him how great things hee must suffer for my Names sake.
9:17	And Ananias went his way, and entred into the house, and putting his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord (euen Iesus that appeared vnto thee in the way as thou camest) hath sent me, that thou mightest receiue thy sight, and be filled with the holy Ghost.
9:18	And immediatly there fell from his eyes as it had bene scales, and he receiued sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
9:19	And when hee had receiued meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certaine dayes with the disciples which were at Damascus.
9:20	And straightway hee preached Christ in the Synagogues, that hee is the Sonne of God.
9:21	But all that heard him, were amazed, and said, Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this Name in Hierusalem, and came hither for that intent that he might bring them bound vnto the chiefe Priests?
9:22	But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Iewes which dwelt at Damascus, proouing that this is very Christ.
9:23	And after that many dayes were fulfilled, the Iewes tooke counsel to kill him.
9:24	But their laying awaite was knowen of Saul: and they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
9:25	Then the disciples tooke him by night, and let him downe by the wall in a basket.
9:26	And when Saul was come to Hierusalem, he assayed to ioyne himselfe to the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, and beleeued not that he was a disciple.
9:27	But Barnabas tooke him, and brought him to the Apostles, and declared vnto them how hee had seene the Lord in the way, and that hee had spoken to him, and how hee had preached boldly at Damascus in the Name of Iesus.
9:28	And he was with them comming in, and going out at Hierusalem.
9:29	And he spake boldly in the Name of the Lord Iesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
9:30	Which when the brethren knewe, they brought him downe to Cesarea, and sent him foorth to Tarsus.
9:31	Then had the Churches rest thorowout all Iudea, and Galilee, and Samaria, and were edified, and walking in the feare of the Lord, and in the comfort of the holy Ghost, were multiplied.
9:32	And it came to passe, as Peter passed thorowout all quarters, he came downe also to the Saints, which dwelt at Lydda.
9:33	And there he found a certaine man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight yeeres, and was sicke of the palsie.
9:34	And Peter said vnto him, Aeneas, Iesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
9:35	And all that dwelt at Lydda, and Saron, saw him, and turned to the Lord.
9:36	Now there was at Ioppa a certain disciple, named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: This woman was full of good works, and almes deeds, which she did.
9:37	And it came to passe in those dayes that she was sicke, and died: whome when they had washed, they laid her in an vpper chamber.
9:38	And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Ioppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent vnto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
9:39	Then Peter arose and went with them: when he was come, they brought him into the vpper chamber: And all the widowes stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while shee was with them.
9:40	But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled downe, and prayed, and turning him to the body, said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sate vp.
9:41	And he gaue her his hand, and lift her vp: and when hee had called the Saints & widowes, presented her aliue.
9:42	And it was knowen thorowout all Ioppa, and many beleeued in the Lord.
9:43	And it came to passe, that he taried many dayes in Ioppa, with one Simon a Tanner.

9:6	He then both trembling and astonied, sayd, Lord, what wilt thou that I doe? And the Lord sayd vnto him, Arise and goe into the citie, and it shall be tolde thee what thou shalt doe.
9:7	The men also which iourneyed with him, stood amased, hearing his voyce, but seeing no man.
9:8	And Saul arose from the ground, and opened his eyes, but sawe no man. Then led they him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus,
9:9	Where he was three dayes without sight, and neither ate nor dranke.
9:10	And there was a certaine disciple at Damascus named Ananias, and to him sayd the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he sayd, Beholde, I am here Lord.
9:11	Then the Lord sayd vnto him, Arise, and goe into the streete which is called Straight, and seeke in the house of Iudas after one called Saul of Tarsus: for beholde, he prayeth.
9:12	(And he sawe in a vision a man named Ananias comming in to him, and putting his hands on him, that he might receiue his sight.)
9:13	Then Ananias answered, Lord, I haue heard by many of this man, howe much euill hee hath done to thy saints at Hierusalem.
9:14	Moreouer here hee hath authoritie of the hie Priestes, to binde all that call on thy Name.

9:27	But Barnabas tooke him, and brought him to the Apostles, and declared to them, howe hee had seene the Lord in the way, and that hee had spoken vnto him, and how he had spoken boldly at Damascus in the Name of Iesus.
9:28	And hee was conuersant with them at Hierusalem,
9:29	And spake boldly in the Name of the Lord Iesus, and spake and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
9:30	But when the brethren knewe it, they brought him to Cesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
9:31	Then had the Churches rest through all Iudea, and Galile, and Samaria, and were edified and walked in the feare of the Lord, and were multiplied by the comfort of the holy Ghost.
9:32	And it came to passe, as Peter walked throughout all quarters, hee came also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
9:33	And there he found a certaine man named Aeneas, which had kept his couch eight yeeres, and was sicke of the palsie.
9:34	Then said Peter vnto him, Aeneas, Iesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise and trusse thy couch together. And he arose immediately.
9:35	And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron, sawe him, and turned to the Lord.
9:36	There was also at Ioppa a certaine woman, a disciple named Tabitha (which by interpretation is called Dorcas) she was full of good workes and almes which she did.
9:37	And it came to passe in those dayes, that she was sicke and dyed: and when they had washed her, they layd her in an vpper chamber.
9:38	Now forasmuch as Lydda was neere to Ioppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent vnto him two men, desiring that he would not delay to come vnto them.
9:39	Then Peter arose and came with them: and when hee was come, they brought him into the vpper chamber, where all the widowes stoode by him weeping, and shewing the coates and garments, which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
9:40	But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled downe, and prayed, and turned him to the body, and sayd, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes, and when she sawe Peter, sate vp.
9:41	Then he gaue her the hand and lift her vp, and called the Saints and widowes, and restored her aliue.
9:42	And it was knowen throughout all Ioppa, and many beleeued in the Lord.
9:43	And it came to passe that he taried many dayes in Ioppa with one Simon a Tanner.

9:3	But as he went on his iorneye, and was come nye to Damasco, sodenly there shyned round aboute him a lyght from heauen,
9:4	& he fell to the earth, and hearde a voice saiyng to him: Saul, Saul why persecutest thou me?
9:5	And he saide: what art thou Lorde? And the Lorde saide: I am Iesus whom thou persecutest it shalbe hearde for the to kycke agaynste the prycke.
9:6	And he both tremblinge and astonied sayde: Lorde what wylt thou haue me to do? And the Lorde sayde vnto hym: aryse, and go into the cytye, and it shal be tolde what thou shalt do.
9:7	Then the men whiche iornyed wyth hym stode amased, for they heard a voice, but sawe no man.
9:8	And Saul arose from the earth, and opened his eyes, but saw no man. Then led they hym by the hande, and broughte him into Damasco.
9:9	And he was thre dayes wt out sight & neyther eate nor dranke.
9:10	And ther was a certaine disciple at Damasco, named Ananias, & to hym sayd the Lorde in a vision: Ananias. And he sayd: beholde I am here Lorde.
9:11	And the Lorde sayd vnto him: aryse, and go into the streat, whiche is called strayght, and seke in the house of Iudas, after one called Saul of Tharsus. For beholde he prayeth,
9:12	& hath sene in a vision a man named Ananias comminge in to hym, and putting hys handes on him that he myght receiue hys sight.
9:13	Then Ananias aunswered: Lord, I haue heard by many of this man, how much euyll he hath done to thy sainctes at Ierusalem,
9:14	and here he hath auctorite of the hye Pryestes to bynd all that call on thy name.
9:15	The Lorde said vnto him: go thy wayes for he is a chosen vessel vnto me, to beare me name before the gentyls and kynges, and the chyldren of Israel.
9:16	For I wil shew hym howe greate thinges he muste suffer for my names sake.
9:17	Ananias went hys waye and entred into the house, and put his handes on him, & said: brother Saul the Lord that appeared vnto the in the waye as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou myghtest receiue thy sight, and be fylled with the holy ghoste.
9:18	And immediatly ther fel from hys eyes as it had bene scales, and he receiued sight and arose and was baptised,
9:19	and receiued meate, and was conforted. Then was Saul certaine dayes wyth the dyscyples whyche were at Damasco.
9:20	And straight way he preached Christ in the Synagoges, howe that he was the sonne of God.
9:21	All that heard him, were amased and sayde: is not this he that spoiled them, whiche called on this name in Hierusalem, and came hyther for the intente that he shoulde brynge them bounde vnto the hye priestes?

9:23	And after a good whyle, the Iewes toke counsell together to kyl him.
9:24	But their laying awaite was knowen of Saule. And they watched at the gates day and night, to kyl hym,
9:25	then the disciples toke hym by nyght and put hym thorow the wall, and let him doune in a basket.
9:26	And when Saule was come to Hierusalem he assaied to couple him selfe wyth the dyscyples and they were all afraied of him and beleued not that he was a dyscyple.
9:27	But Barnabas toke hym and broughte hym to the Apostles and declared to them, howe he had sene the Lorde in the waye, and had spoken wyth hym: and howe he had done boldlye at Damasco in the name of Iesu.
9:28	And he had his conuersation wyth them at Hierusalem,
9:29	and quit hymselfe boldlie in the name of the Lorde Iesus. And he spake and disputed with the Grekes: and they wente aboute to slea him.
9:30	But when the brethren knew of that, they brought him to Cesaria, and sent him forth to Tharsus.
9:31	Then had the congregations reste thorowe out all Iewry and Galile and Samarie, and were edified, and walked in the feare of the Lorde, and multiplied by the confort of the holy ghoste.
9:32	And it chaunced that as Peter walked thorow out al quarters, he came to the sainctes, whiche dwelt at Lydda,
9:33	and there he founde a certaine man named Eueas, which had kepte his bed .viij. yere sycke of the palsey.
9:34	Then saied Peter vnto hym: Eneas, Iesus Christe make the whole. Aryse, and make thy bed. And he arose immediatlie.
9:35	And all that dwelte at Lidda and Assaron, sawe hym, and turned to the Lorde.
9:36	Ther was at Ioppa a certaine woman, (which was a disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Doreas) the same was ful of good workes and almes dedes, whiche she did.
9:37	And it chaunsed in those daies that she was sicke and dyed. When they had washed her, and layed her in a chamber:
9:38	Because Lidda was nye to Ioppa, and the discyples had hearde, that Peter was there, they sent vnto hym, desieringe hym that he would not be greued to come vnto them.
9:39	Peter arose and came wyth them & when he was come, they brought him into the chamber. And all the wydowes stode round about him wepynge and shewynge the cotes & garmentes, whyche Dorcas made whyle she was wyth them.
9:40	And Peter put them al forth and kneled doune, and praied and turned him to the bodye, and saied: Tabitha, aryse. And she opened her eyes, and when she sawe Peter she sat vp.
9:41	And he gaue her the hande, and lyfte her vp, and called the Sayntes and wydowes, and sheweth her alyue.
9:42	And it was knowen thorowe out all Ioppa, and many beleued on the Lorde.
9:43	And it fortuned that he taried manye dayes in Ioppa wyth one Simon a tanner.
