Romans - Chapter: 2

>
2:1Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, because, in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; because you who judge practice the same things.
2:2But we are certain that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who commit such things.
2:3And do you think this, O man, you who judge those who do such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
2:4Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
2:5But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
2:6who "will render to each one according to his deeds":
2:7eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
2:8but to those who are contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
2:9tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Gentile;
2:10but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.
2:11Because there is no personal favoritism with God.
2:12Because, as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law
2:13(because, not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
2:14because, when the Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things contained in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves,
2:15who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)
2:16in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
2:17Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest in the law, and make your boast in God,
2:18and know His will, and approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law,
2:19and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
2:20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, who has the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
2:21You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?
2:22You who say, "A man should not commit adultery," do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you commit sacrilege?
2:23You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?
2:24Because, "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," as it is written.
2:25Because, circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law; but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
2:26Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?
2:27And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law?
2:28Because, he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is that circumcision that which is outward in the flesh;
2:29but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

2:1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoeuer thou art that condemnest: for in that that thou condemnest another, thou condemnest thy selfe: for thou that condemnest, doest the same things.
2:2But we know that the iudgement of God is according to trueth, against them which comit such things.
2:3And thinkest thou this, O thou man, that condemnest them which doe such thinges, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the iudgement of God?
2:4Or despisest thou the riches of his bountifulnesse, and patience, and long sufferance, not knowing that the bountifulnesse of God leadeth thee to repentance?
2:5But thou, after thine hardnesse, and heart that canot repent, heapest vp as a treasure vnto thy selfe wrath against the day of wrath, and of the declaration of the iust iudgement of God,
2:6Who wil reward euery man according to his woorkes:
2:7That is, to them which through patience in well doing, seeke glorie, and honour, and immortalitie, euerlasting life:
2:8But vnto them that are contentious and disobey the trueth, and obey vnrighteousnesse, shalbe indignation and wrath.
2:9Tribulation and anguish shalbe vpon the soule of euery man that doeth euill: of the Iewe first, and also of the Grecian.
2:10But to euery man that doeth good, shalbe glory, and honour, and peace: to the Iew first, and also to the Grecian.
2:11For there is no respect of persons with God.
2:12For as many as haue sinned without the Lawe, shall perish also without the Lawe: and as many as haue sinned in the Lawe, shall be iudged by the Lawe,
2:13(For the hearers of the Lawe are not righteous before God: but the doers of the Lawe shalbe iustified.
2:14For when the Gentiles which haue not the Lawe, doe by nature, the things conteined in the Lawe, they hauing not the Lawe, are a Lawe vnto themselues,
2:15Which shew the effect of the Lawe written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witnes, and their thoughts accusing one another, or excusing,)
2:16At the day when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ, according to my Gospel.
2:17Beholde, thou art called a Iewe, and restest in the Lawe, and gloriest in God,
2:18And knowest his will, and triest the things that dissent from it, in that thou art instructed by the Lawe:
2:19And persuadest thy selfe that thou art a guide of the blinde, a light of them which are in darkenesse,
2:20An instructer of them which lacke discretion, a teacher of the vnlearned, which hast the forme of knowledge, and of the truth in ye Law.
2:21Thou therefore, which teachest another, teachest thou not thy selfe? thou that preachest, A man should not steale, doest thou steale?
2:22Thou that saist, A man should not commit adulterie, doest thou commit adulterie? thou that abhorrest idoles, committest thou sacrilege?
2:23Thou that gloriest in the Lawe, through breaking the Lawe, dishonourest thou God?
2:24For ye Name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
2:25For circucision verely is profitable, if thou do the Lawe: but if thou be a transgressour of the Lawe, thy circumcision is made vncircumcision.
2:26Therefore if the vncircumcision keepe the ordinances of the Lawe, shall not his vncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
2:27And shall not vncircumcision which is by nature (if it keepe the Lawe) condemne thee which by the letter and circumcision art a transgressour of the Lawe?
2:28For hee is not a Iewe, which is one outwarde: neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
2:29But he is a Iewe which is one within, and the circumcision is of the heart, in the spirite not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God.

2:1Therfore arte thou inexcusable o man whosoever thou be yt iudgest. For in ye same wherin thou iudgest another thou condemnest thy selfe. For thou that iudgest doest eve the same selfe thinges
2:2But we are sure that the iudgement of God is accordinge to trueth agaynst them which commit soche thinges.
2:3Thikest thou this O thou ma that iudgest them which do soche thinges and yet doest eve the very same yt thou shalt escape ye iudgemet of God?
2:4Ether despisest thou the riches of his goodnes paciece and longe sufferaunce? and remembrest not how that the kyndnes of God ledith the to repentaunce?
2:5But thou after thyne harde herte yt canot repet heapest ye togedder the treasure of wrath agaynste the daye of vengeauce when shalbe opened ye rightewes iudgemet of god
2:6which will rewarde every ma accordinge to his dedes:
2:7that is to saye prayse honoure and immortalite to them which cotinue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe.
2:8But vnto them that are rebellious and disobey the trueth yet folowe iniquytie shall come indignacion and wrath
2:9tribulacion and anguysshe vpon the soule of every man that doth evyll: of the Iewe fyrst and also of the gentyll.
2:10To every man that doth good shall come prayse honoure and peace to ye Iewe fyrst and also to the gentyll.
2:11For ther is no parcialyte with god. But whosoever hath synned with out lawe shall perisshe wt out lawe.
2:12And as many as haue synned vnder the lawe shalbe iudged by the lawe.
2:13For before god they are not ryghteous which heare ye lawe: but the doers of the lawe shalbe iustified.
2:14For if the gentyls which have no lawe do of nature the thynges contayned in the lawe: then they havynge no lawe are a lawe vnto them selves
2:15which shewe the dede of the lawe wrytten in their hertes: whyll their conscience beareth witnes vnto them and also their thoughtes accusynge one another or excusynge
2:16at the daye when god shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ accordinge to my Gospell.
2:17 Beholde thou arte called a Iewe and trustest in the lawe and reioysist in God
2:18and knowest his will and hast experience of good and bad in that thou arte informed by the lawe:
2:19and belevest that thou thy silfe arte a gyde vnto the blynde a lyght to them which are in darcknes
2:20an informer of them which lacke discrecio a teacher of vnlearned which hast the ensample of that which ought to be knowen and of the truth in the lawe.
2:21But thou which teachest another teachest not thy selfe. Thou preachest a man shuld not steale: and yet thou stealest.
2:22Thou sayst a man shuld not commit advoutry: and thou breakest wedlocke. Thou abhorrest ymages and robbest God of his honoure.
2:23Thou reioysest in the lawe and thorow breakinge the lawe dishonourest God.
2:24For the name of god is evyll spoken of amonge the Gentyls thorowe you as it is written.
2:25Circumcisio verely avayleth if thou kepe the lawe. But if thou breake the lawe thy circumcision is made vncircumcision.
2:26Therfore if the vncircumcised kepe the ryght thinges contayned in the lawe: shall not his vncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
2:27And shall not vncircumcision which is by nature (yf it kepe the lawe) iudge the which beynge vnder the letter and circumcision dost transgresse the lawe?
2:28For he is not a Iewe which is a Iewe out warde. Nether is that thynge circumcision which is outwarde in the flesshe.
2:29But he is a Iewe which is hid wythin and the circucisio of ye herte is the true circumcision which is in the sprete and not in ye letter whose prayse is not of men but of god.
