Romans - Chapter: 10

>
10:1Brethren, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that `is' to God for Israel, is -- for salvation;
10:2for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,
10:3for not knowing the righteousness of God, and their own righteousness seeking to establish, to the righteousness of God they did not submit.
10:4For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to every one who is believing,
10:5for Moses doth describe the righteousness that `is' of the law, that, `The man who did them shall live in them,'
10:6and the righteousness of faith doth thus speak: `Thou mayest not say in thine heart, Who shall go up to the heaven,' that is, Christ to bring down?
10:7or, `Who shall go down to the abyss,' that is, Christ out of the dead to bring up.
10:8But what doth it say? `Nigh thee is the saying -- in thy mouth, and in thy heart:' that is, the saying of the faith, that we preach;
10:9that if thou mayest confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and mayest believe in thy heart that God did raise him out of the dead, thou shalt be saved,
10:10for with the heart doth `one' believe to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
10:11for the Writing saith, `Every one who is believing on him shall not be ashamed,'
10:12for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all `is' rich to all those calling upon Him,
10:13for every one -- whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.'
10:14How then shall they call upon `him' in whom they did not believe? and how shall they believe `on him' of whom they did not hear? and how shall they hear apart from one preaching?
10:15and how shall they preach, if they may not be sent? according as it hath been written, `How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!'
10:16But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah saith, `Lord, who did give credence to our report?'
10:17so then the faith `is' by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
10:18but I say, Did they not hear? yes, indeed -- `to all the earth their voice went forth, and to the ends of the habitable world their sayings.'
10:19But I say, Did not Israel know? first Moses saith, `I will provoke you to jealousy by `that which is' not a nation; by an unintelligent nation I will anger you,'
10:20and Isaiah is very bold, and saith, `I was found by those not seeking Me; I became manifest to those not inquiring after Me;'
10:21and unto Israel He saith, `All the day I did stretch out My hands unto a people unbelieving and gainsaying.'

10:1Brethren my hertes desyre and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.
10:2For I beare them recorde that they have a fervet mynde to God warde but not accordinge to knowledge.
10:3For they are ignoraut of the rightewesnes which is alowed before God and goo about to stablisshe their awne rightewesnes and therfore are not obedient vnto the rightewesnes which is of valew before God.
10:4For Christ is the ende of the lawe to iustifie all that beleve.
10:5Moses describeth the rightewesnes which cometh of ye lawe howe that the man which doth the thinges of the lawe shall lyve therin.
10:6But ye rightewesnes which cometh of fayth speaketh on this wyse. Saye not in thyne hert who shall ascende into heven? (that is nothinge els then to fetch Christ doune)
10:7Other who shall descende into the depe? (that is nothinge els but to fetch vp Christ from deeth)
10:8But what sayth the scripture? The worde is nye the even in thy mouth and in thyn herte. This worde is the worde of fayth which we preache.
10:9For yf thou shalt knowledge wt thy mouth that Iesus is the lorde and shalt beleve with thyn hert that God raysed him up from deeth thou shalt be safe.
10:10For the belefe of the hert iustifieth: and to knowledge with the mouth maketh a man safe.
10:11For the scripture sayth: whosoever beleveth on him shall not be ashamed.
10:12Ther is no difference bitwene the Iewe and the gentyll. For one is Lorde of all which is ryche vnto all that call on him.
10:13For whosoever shall call on the name of the lorde shalbe safe.
10:14But how shall they call on him on who they beleved not? how shall they beleve on him of whom they have not herde? how shall they heare with out a preacher?
10:15And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written: how beautifull are the fete of them which bringe glad tydynges of peace and bringe glad tydynges of good thinges.
10:16But they have not all obeyed to ye gospell. For Esaias sayth: Lorde who shall beleve oure sayinges?
10:17So then fayth cometh by hearynge and hearynge cometh by the worde of God.
10:18But I axe: have they not herde? No dout their sounde went out into all londes: and their wordes in to the endes of the worlde.
10:19But I demaunde whether Israel dyd knowe or not? Fyrst Moses sayth: I will provoke you for to envy by the that are no people and by a folisshe nacion I will anger you.
10:20Esaias after that is bolde and sayth. I am founde of the that sought me not and have appered to them that axed not after me.
10:21And agaynst Israel he sayth: All daye longe have I stretched forth my hondes vnto a people yt beleveth not but speaketh agaynst me.

10:1Brethren, my hertes desyre, & prayer vnto God for Israel is, that they might be saued.
10:2For I beare them recorde, that they are zelous for Gods cause, but not wt vnderstondinge.
10:3For they knowe not the righteousnes which auayleth before God, and go aboute to manteyne their awne righteousnes: and thus they are not subdued vnto the righteousnes, that is off value before God.
10:4For Christ is the ende of the lawe, vnto righteousnes for euery one yt beleueth.
10:5Moses wryteth of ye righteousnes which commeth of the lawe, that the man which doth ye same, shal lyue therin.
10:6But ye righteousnes which cometh of faith, speaketh on this wyse: Saye not in thine hert: Who wil go vp in to heaue? (that is nothinge els then to fetch Christ downe)
10:7Or who wyl go downe in to ye depe? (that is nothinge els the to fetch vp Christ from the deed.)
10:8But what sayeth the scripture? The worde is nye the, euen in thy mouth and in thine hert. This is ye worde of faith yt we preach.
10:9For yf thou knowlegest Iesus with thy mouth, that he is the LORDE, and beleuest in thine hert, that God hath raysed him vp from the deed, thou shalt be saued.
10:10For yf a man beleue from the hert, he shalbe made righteous: and yf a ma knowlege with the mouth, he shal be saued.
10:11For the scripture sayeth: Who so euer beleueth on him, shal not be confounded.
10:12Here is no difference, nether of the Iewe ner of the Gentyle. For one is LORDE of all, which is riche vnto all yt call vpo him.
10:13For who so euer shal call vpon the name of the LORDE, shalbe saued.
10:14But how shal they call vpo him, on who they beleue not? How shal they beleue on him, of who they haue not herde? How shal they heare without a preacher?
10:15But how shal they preach, excepte they be sent? As it is wrytte: How beutyfull are the fete of the yt preach peace, yt brynge good tidinges?
10:16But they are not all obedient vnto the Gospell. For Esaye sayeth: LORDE, who beleueth oure preachinge?
10:17So the faith cometh by hearynge, but hearinge cometh by the worde of God.
10:18But I saye: Haue they not herde? No doute their sounde wete out into all londes, and their wordes in to the endes of the worlde.
10:19But I saye: Hath not Israel knowne? First, Moses sayeth: I wil prouoke you to enuye, by them that are not my people: & by a foolish nacion wyl I anger you.
10:20Esaye after him is bolde, aud sayeth: I am founde of them, that sought me not: & haue appeared vnto them, that axed not after me.
10:21But vnto Israel he sayeth: All the daye loge haue I stretched forth my handes vnto a people yt beleueth not, but speaketh agaynst me.
