13:3For rulers are not fearfull to them that do good, but to them that do euyll. Wylt thou be without feare of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou he praysed of the same.
13:4For he is the mynyster of God, for thy welth. But and yf thou do that which is, euyll, then feare: for he beareth not the sweard for nought: for he is the mynister of God, to take vengeaunce on hym that doth euyll.
13:5Wherfore, ye must nedes obeye, not onely for feare of vengeaunce: but also because of conscience.
13:6And euen for this cause paye ye tribute. For they are Goddes mynysters, seruinge for the same purpose.
13:7Geue to euery man therfore hys duetye: tribute to whom tribute belongeth: custome, to whom custome is due: feare, to whom feare belongeth: honoure, to whom honoure pertayneth.
13:8O we nothynge to eny man: but thys, that ye loue one another. For he that loueth another hath fulfylled the lawe.

13:10Loue hurteth not his neyghbour. Therfore is loue the fulfyllinge of the lawe.
13:11This also, we knowe the season howe that it is tyme that we shulde now awake out of slepe. For now is oure saluacyon nearer, then when we beleued.
13:12The nyght is passed, the daye is come nye. Let vs therfore cast awaye the dedes of darcknes, and let vs put on the Armoure of lyght.
13:13Let vs walke honestly as it were in the daye lyght: not in eatynge & drynckynge, nether in chamburyng and wantannes, nether in stryfe & enuyinge:
13:14but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Chryst. And make not prouisyon for the fleshe, to fulfyll the lustes of it.

13:4for he is the mynystre of God to thee in to good. But if thou doist yuel, drede thou; for not with outen cause he berith the swerd, for he is the mynystre of God, vengere in to wraththe to hym that doith yuel.
13:5And therfor bi nede be ye suget, not oneli for wraththe, but also for conscience.
13:6For therfor ye yyuen tributis, thei ben the mynystris of God, and seruen for this same thing.

13:8To no man owe ye ony thing, but that ye loue togidere. For he that loueth his neiybore, hath fulfillid the lawe.
13:9For, Thou schalt do no letcherie, Thou schalt not sle, Thou schalt not stele, Thou schalt not seie fals witnessyng, Thou schalt not coueyte the thing of thi neiybore, and if ther be ony othere maundement, it is instorid in this word, Thou schalt loue thi neiybore as thi silf.

13:4for he is the minister off God for thy wealth. But yff thou do euell, then feare, for he beareth not the swerde for naughte. For he is the mynister of God, a taker of vengeaunce, to punyshe him that doth euell.
13:5Wherfore ye must nedes obeye, not onely for punyshmet, but also because of conscience.
13:6For this cause must ye geue trybute also. For they are Gods mynisters, which mateyne ye same defence.
