Romans - Chapter: 15

>
15:1Wee then that are strong, ought to beare the infirmities of the weake, and not to please our selues.
15:2Let euery one of vs please his neighbour for his good to edification.
15:3For euen Christ pleased not himselfe, but as it is written, The reproches of them that reproched thee, fell on mee.
15:4For whatsoeuer things were written aforetime, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might haue hope.
15:5Now the God of patience and consolation graunt you to be like minded one towards another, according to Christ Iesus:
15:6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorifie God, euen the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ.
15:7Wherfore receiue yee one another, as Christ also receiued vs, to the glory of God.
15:8Now I say, that Iesus Christ was a Minister of the circumcision for the trueth of God, to confirme the promises made vnto the fathers:
15:9And that the Gentiles might glorifie God for his mercie, as it is written, For this cause I will confesse to thee among the Gentiles, and sing vnto thy Name.
15:10And againe he saith, Reioyce yee Gentiles with his people.
15:11And againe, Praise the Lord all ye Gentiles, and laud him all ye people.
15:12And againe Esaias saith, There shal be a roote of Iesse, and he that shal rise to raigne ouer the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust.
15:13Nowe the God of hope fill you with all ioy and peace in beleeuing, that yee may abound in hope through the power of the holy Ghost.
15:14And I my selfe also am perswaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodnesse, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
15:15Neuerthelesse, brethren, I haue written the more boldly vnto you, in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is giuen to mee of God,
15:16That I should be the minister of Iesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God, that the offering vp of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Ghost.
15:17I haue therfore whereof I may glory through Iesus Christ, in those things which pertaine to God.
15:18For I will not dare to speake of any of those things, which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deede,
15:19Through mighty signes and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Hierusalem and round about vnto Illyricum, I haue fully preached the Gospel of Christ.
15:20Yea, so haue I striued to preach the Gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build vpon another mans foundation:
15:21But as it is written, To whom hee was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that haue not heard, shall vnderstand.
15:22For which cause also I haue been much hindered from coming to you.
15:23But now hauing no more place in these parts, and hauing a great desire these many yeeres to come vnto you:
15:24Whensoeuer I take my iourney into Spaine, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my iourney, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.
15:25But now I goe vnto Hierusalem, to minister vnto the Saints.
15:26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia, to make a certaine contribution for the poore Saints which are at Hierusalem.
15:27It hath pleased them verely, and their detters they are. For if the Gentiles haue bene made partakers of their spirituall things, their duetie is also to minister vnto them in carnall things.
15:28When therefore I haue performed this, and hane sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spaine.
15:29And I am sure that when I come vnto you, I shall come in the fulnes of the blessing of ye Gospel of Christ.
15:30Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Iesus Christs sake, and for the loue of the Spirit, that ye striue together with me, in your praiers to God for me,
15:31That I may bee deliuered from them that do not beleeue in Iudea, and that my seruice which I haue for Hierusalem, may bee accepted of the Saints:
15:32That I may come vnto you with ioy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
15:33Now the God of peace bee with you all. Amen.

15:1We that are stronge ought to beare ye fraylnesse of them which are weake, and not to stonde in oure awne consaytes.
15:2Let euery one of vs ordre himselfe so, that he please his neghboure vnto his welth, and edifienge:
15:3For Christ pleased not himselfe, but as it is wrytten: The rebukes of them which rebuked the, are fallen vpon me.
15:4What so euer thinges are wrytte afore tyme, are wrytten for oure learnynge, that we thorow pacience and comforte off the scriptures, might haue hope.
15:5The God of pacience and consolacion graunte you to be like mynded one towarde another, acordinge vnto Iesu Christ,
15:6that ye beynge of one mynde, maye wt one mouth prayse God the father of oure LORDE Iesu Christ.
15:7Wherfore receaue ye one another, as Christ hath receaued you to the prayse off God.
15:8But I saye that Christ Iesus was a mynister of the circumcision for the trueth of God, to cofirme the promyses made vnto the fathers,
15:9and that the Heythen mighte prayse God because of mercy, as it is wrytten: For this cause wyl I prayse the amoge the Getyles, and synge vnto thy name.
15:10And agayne he sayeth: Reioyse ye Heythen with his people.
15:11And agayne: Prayse the LORDE all ye Gentiles, and laude him all ye nacios.
15:12And agayne Esay sayeth: There shalbe the rote of Iesse, and he that shal ryse to rule the Gentyles, in him shal the Gentyles trust.
15:13The God off hope fyll you wt all ioye and peace in beleuynge, yt ye maye be plenteous in hope thorow ye power of the holy goost.
15:14I my selfe am full certified of you (my brethren) that ye youre selues are full of goodnes, fylled with all knowlege, so that ye are able to exhorte one another.
15:15Neuertheles (brethre) I haue somwhat more boldly wrytten vnto you, as one that putteth you in remembraunce, for the grace that is geue me of God,
15:16that I shulde be a mynister of Iesu Christ amonge the Heythen, to declare the gospell of God, that the Heythen mighte be an acceptable offerynge vnto God, sanctified by the holy goost.
15:17Therfore maye I boost myselfe thorow Iesu Christ, that I medle with thinges perteyninge vnto God.
15:18For I durst not speake ought, excepte Christ had wroughte the same by me, to make the Heythen obediet thorow worde and dede,
15:19thorow the power of tokens and wonders, and thorow the power of the sprete of God, so that from Ierusale, and roude aboute vnto Illyricon, I haue fylled all with the Gospell of Christ.
15:20So haue I enforced myselfe to preach ye Gospell, not where Christes name was knowne, lest I shulde buylde on another mans foundacion,
15:21but as it is wrytten: To whom he was not spoken of, they shal se: and they that haue not herde, shal vnderstonde.
15:22This is also the cause, wherfore I haue bene oft tymes let to come vnto you.
15:23But now syth I haue nomore place in these countrees, hauynge yet a desyre many yeares sence to come vnto you,
15:24whan I shal take my iourney in to Spayne, I wil come to you: for I trust that I shal passe yt waye and se you, and to be broughte on my waye thitherwarde by you: but so, that I first refresh my selfe a litle with you.
15:25But now go I to Ierusalem, to mynister vnto the sayntes.
15:26For they of Macedonia and Achaia haue wyllingly prepared a commen colleccion together, for the poore sayntes at Ierusalem.
15:27They haue done it wyllingly, and their detters are they. For yf ye Heythen be made partakers off their spiritual thinges, their dutye is to mynister vnto the in bodely thinges.
15:28Now whan I haue perfourmed this, and haue broughte the this frute sealed, I wil take my iourney by you in to Spayne.
15:29But I am sure whan I come vnto you, that I shal come with ye full blessynge of the Gospell of Christ.
15:30I beseke you brethren thorow oure LORDE Iesu Christ, and thorow the loue of the sprete, yt ye helpe me in my busynes with youre prayers vnto God for me,
15:31that I maye be delyuered from the vnbeleuers in Iewrye and that this my seruyce which I do to Ierusalem, maye be accepted of the sayntes,
15:32yt I maye come vnto you with ioye by ye wyll of God, and refreshe my selfe with you.
15:33The God of peace be with you all. Amen.

15:1But we saddere men owen to susteyne the feblenesses of sijke men, and not plese to vs silf.
15:2Eche of vs plese to his neiybore in good, to edificacioun.
15:3For Crist pleside not to hym silf, as it is writun, The repreues of men dispisynge thee, felden on me.
15:4For what euere thingis ben writun, tho ben writun to oure techynge, that bi pacience and coumfort of scripturis we haue hope.
15:5But God of pacience and of solace yyue to you to vndurstonde the same thing, ech in to othere aftir Jhesu Crist,
15:6that ye of o wille with o mouth worschipe God and the fadir of oure Lord Jhesu Crist.
15:7For which thing take ye togidere, as also Crist took you in to the onour of God.
15:8For Y seie, that Jhesu Crist was a mynystre of circumcisioun for the treuthe of God, to conferme the biheestis of fadris.
15:9And hethene men owen to onoure God for merci; as it is writun, Therfor, Lord, Y schal knowleche to thee among hethene men, and Y schal synge to thi name.
15:10And eft he seith, Ye hethene men, be ye glad with his puple.
15:11And eft, Alle hethene men, herie ye the Lord; and alle puplis, magnefie ye hym.
15:12And eft Isaie seith, Ther schal be a roote of Jesse, that schal rise vp to gouerne hethene men, and hethene men schulen hope in hym.
15:13And God of hope fulfille you in al ioye and pees in bileuynge, that ye encrees in hope and vertu of the Hooli Goost.
15:14And, britheren, Y my silf am certeyn of you, that also ye ben ful of loue, and ye ben fillid with al kunnyng, so that ye moun moneste ech other.
15:15And, britheren, more boldli Y wroot to you a parti, as bryngynge you in to mynde, for the grace that is youun to me of God,
15:16that Y be the mynystre of Crist Jhesu among hethene men. And Y halewe the gospel of God, that the offryng of hethene men be acceptid, and halewid in the Hooli Goost.
15:17Therfor Y haue glorie in Crist Jhesu to God.
15:18For Y dar not speke ony thing of tho thingis, whiche Crist doith not bi me, in to obedience of hethene men, in word and dedis,
15:19in vertu of tokenes and grete wondris, in vertu of the Hooli Goost, so that fro Jerusalem bi cumpas to the Illirik see Y haue fillid the gospel of Crist.
15:20And so Y haue prechid this gospel, not where Crist was named, lest Y bilde vpon anotheres ground, but as it is writun,
15:21For to whom it is not teld of him, thei schulen se, and thei that herden not, schulen vndurstonde.
15:22For which thing Y was lettid ful myche to come to you, and Y am lettid to this tyme.
15:23And now Y haue not ferthere place in these cuntrees, but Y haue desire to come to you, of many yeris that ben passid.
15:24Whanne Y bygynne to passe in to Spayne, Y hope that in my goyng Y schal se you, and of you Y schal be led thidur, if Y vse you first in parti.
15:25Therfor now Y schal passe forth to Jerusalem, to mynystre to seyntis.
15:26For Macedonye and Acaie han assaied to make sum yifte to pore men of seyntis, that ben in Jerusalem.
15:27For it pleside to hem, and thei ben dettouris of hem; for hethene men ben maad parteneris of her goostli thingis, thei owen also in fleischli thingis to mynystre to hem.
15:28Therfor whanne Y haue endid this thing, and haue asigned to hem this fruyt, Y schal passe bi you in to Spayne.
15:29And Y woot, that Y comynge to you, schal come `in to the abundaunce of the blessing of Crist.
15:30Therfor, britheren, Y biseche you bi oure Lord Jhesu Crist, and bi charite of the Hooli Goost, that ye helpe me in youre preyeris to the Lord,
15:31that Y be delyuerid fro the vnfeithful men, that ben in Judee, and that the offryng of my seruyce be acceptid in Jerusalem to seyntis;
15:32that Y come to you in ioye, bi the wille of God, and that Y be refreischid with you.
15:33God of pees be with you alle. Amen.
