| 5:1 | It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. |
| 5:2 | And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. |
| 5:3 | For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, |
| 5:4 | In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, |
| 5:5 | To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. |
| 5:6 | Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? |
| 5:7 | Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: |
| 5:8 | Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. |
| 5:9 | I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: |
| 5:10 | Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. |
| 5:11 | But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. |
| 5:12 | For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? |
| 5:13 | But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. |

| 5:3 | εγω μεν γαρ ως απων τω σωματι παρων δε τω πνευματι ηδη κεκρικα ως παρων τον ουτως τουτο κατεργασαμενον |
| 5:4 | εν τω ονοματι του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου συναχθεντων υμων και του εμου πνευματος συν τη δυναμει του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου |
| 5:5 | παραδουναι τον τοιουτον τω σατανα εις ολεθρον της σαρκος ινα το πνευμα σωθη εν τη ημερα του κυριου ιησου |
| 5:6 | ου καλον το καυχημα υμων ουκ οιδατε οτι μικρα ζυμη ολον το φυραμα ζυμοι |
| 5:7 | εκκαθαρατε ουν την παλαιαν ζυμην ινα ητε νεον φυραμα καθως εστε αζυμοι και γαρ το πασχα ημων υπερ ημων ετυθη χριστος |
| 5:8 | ωστε εορταζωμεν μη εν ζυμη παλαια μηδε εν ζυμη κακιας και πονηριας αλλ εν αζυμοις ειλικρινειας και αληθειας |
| 5:9 | εγραψα υμιν εν τη επιστολη μη συναναμιγνυσθαι πορνοις |
| 5:10 | και ου παντως τοις πορνοις του κοσμου τουτου η τοις πλεονεκταις η αρπαξιν η ειδωλολατραις επει οφειλετε αρα εκ του κοσμου εξελθειν |
| 5:11 | νυνι δε εγραψα υμιν μη συναναμιγνυσθαι εαν τις αδελφος ονομαζομενος η πορνος η πλεονεκτης η ειδωλολατρης η λοιδορος η μεθυσος η αρπαξ τω τοιουτω μηδε συνεσθιειν |
| 5:12 | τι γαρ μοι και τους εξω κρινειν ουχι τους εσω υμεις κρινετε |
| 5:13 | τους δε εξω ο θεος κρινει και εξαρειτε τον πονηρον εξ υμων αυτων |
| 5:1 | There goeth a comen sayinge that ther is fornicacion amoge you and soche fornicacion as is not once named amonge the gentyls: that one shuld have his fathers wyfe. |
| 5:2 | And ye swell and have not rather sorowed yt he which hath done this dede myght be put fro amoge you. |
| 5:3 | For I verely as absent in body even so present in sprete have determyned all redy (as though I were present) of him that hath done this dede |
| 5:4 | in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christ when ye are gaddered togedder and my sprete with the power of the Lorde Iesus Christ |
| 5:5 | to deliver him vnto Satan for ye destruccio of the flesshe yt the sprete maye be saved in ye daye of ye Lorde Iesus. |
| 5:6 | Youre reioysinge is not good: knowe ye not that a lytle leve sowreth the whole lompe of dowe. |
| 5:7 | Pourge therfore the olde leven that ye maye be newe dowe as ye are swete breed. For Christ oure esterlambe is offered vp for vs. |
| 5:8 | Therfore let vs kepe holy daye not with olde leve nether with the leven of maliciousnes and wickednes: but with the swete breed of purenes and truth. |
| 5:9 | I wrote vnto you in a pistle that ye shuld not company with fornicatours. |
| 5:10 | And I meat not at all of the fornicatours of this worlde ether of the coveteous or of extorsioners ether of the ydolaters: for then must ye nedes have gone out of ye worlde. |
| 5:11 | But now I write vnto you that ye company not togedder yf eny that is called a brother be a fornicator or coveteous or a worshipper of ymages ether a raylar ether a dronkard or an extorcionar: with him that is soche se that ye eate not. |
| 5:12 | For what have I to do to iudge them which are with out? Do ye not iudge them that are with in? |
| 5:13 | Them that are with out God shall iudge. Put awaye from amonge you that evyll parson. |
