2 Corinthians - Chapter: 6

6:1	We also as helpers exhorte you that ye receaue not the grace of God in vayne.
6:2	For he sayth: I haue heard the in a tyme accepted: and in the daye of saluacyon, haue I suckered the. Beholde, now is that accepted tyme: beholde, now is that daye of saluacyon.
6:3	Lett vs geue no occasyon of euyll, that in oure offyce be founde no faute:
6:4	but in all thynges let vs behaue oure selues as the minysters of God. In moch pacience, in affliccyons, in necessitees in anguysshes,
6:5	in strypes, in presonmentes: in stryfes: in laboures, in watchynges, in fastynges,
6:6	in purenes, in knowledge, in longe suffring, in kyndenes, in the holy ghost, in loue vnfayned,
6:7	in the worde of trueth, in the power of God, by the armoure of ryghtewesnes of the ryght hande & on the lyfte
6:8	be honoure and dishonoure: be euyll reporte & good reporte: as desceauers, and yet true,
6:9	as vnknowen, and yet knowen: as dyinge, and beholde, we lyue: as chastened, and not kylled:
6:10	as sorowing, & yet alwaye merye: as poore, and yet make many ryche: as hauinge nothyng, & yet possessyng all thynges.
6:11	O ye Corynthyans, oure mouth is open vnto you. Oure hert is made large:
6:12	ye are in no strayte in vs, but are in a strayte in youre awne bowelles:
6:13	I promyse vnto you lyke reward, as vnto chyldren.
6:14	Set your selues at large, and beare not ye the yoke wt the vnbeleuers. For what fellyship hath ryghtewesnes with vnryghtewesnes? Or what company hath lyght wt darknes?
6:15	Or what concorde hath Christ with Beliall? Ether what parte hath he that beleueth, with an infidell?
6:16	Or how agreeth the temple of God with Images for ye are the temple of the lyuinge God, as sayde God? I wyll dwell amonge them, & walcke amonge them, and wylbe their God: & they shalbe my people.
6:17	Wherfore come out from amonge them, and separate youre selues from them (sayth the Lorde) and touche none vncleane thynge: so wyll I receaue you,
6:18	and wylbe a father vnto you, and ye shalbe my sonnes & daughters, sayth the Lorde allmyghty.


6:1	But we helpynge monesten, that ye resseyuen not the grace of God in veyn.
6:2	For he seith, In tyme wel plesinge Y haue herd thee, and in the dai of heelthe Y haue helpid thee. Lo! now a tyme acceptable, lo! now a dai of heelthe.
6:3	Yyue we to no man ony offencioun, that oure seruyce be not repreued;
6:4	but in alle thingis yyue we vs silf as the mynystris of God, in myche pacience, in tribulaciouns,
6:5	in nedis, in angwischis, in betyngis, in prisouns, in dissensiouns with ynne, in trauels, in wakyngis, in fastyngis,
6:6	in chastite, in kunnyng, in long abiding, in swetnesse, in the Hooli Goost,
6:7	in charite not feined, in the word of treuthe, in the vertu of God; bi armeris of riytwisnesse on the riythalf and on the lefthalf;
6:8	bi glorie and vnnoblei; bi yuel fame and good fame; as disseyueris, and trewe men; as thei that ben vnknowun, and knowun;
6:9	as men diynge, and lo! we lyuen; as chastisid, and not maad deed;
6:10	as sorewful, euere more ioiynge; as hauynge nede, but makynge many men riche; as no thing hauynge, and weldynge alle thingis.
6:11	A! ye Corynthies, oure mouth is open to you, oure herte is alargid;
6:12	ye ben not angwischid in vs, but ye ben anguischid in youre inwardnessis.
6:13	And Y seie as to sones, ye that han the same reward, be ye alargid.
6:14	Nyle ye bere the yok with vnfeithful men. For what parting of riytwisnes with wickidnesse? or what felouschipe of liyt to derknessis?
6:15	and what acording of Crist to Belial? or what part of a feithful with the vnfeithful?
6:16	and what consent to the temple of God with mawmetis? And ye ben the temple of the lyuynge God, as the Lord seith, For Y schal dwelle in hem, and Y schal walke among hem; and Y schal be God of hem, and thei schulen be a puple to me.
6:17	For which thing go ye out of the myddil of hem, and be ye departid, seith the Lord, and touche ye not vnclene thing;
6:18	and Y schal resseyue you, and schal be to you in to a fadir, and ye schulen be to me in to sones and douytris, seith the Lord almyyti.

6:5	in strypes, in presonmentes, in vproures, in laboures, in watchinges, in fastynges,
6:6	in purenesse, in knowlege, in longe sufferynge, in kyndnesse, in the holy goost, in loue vnfayned,
6:7	in the worde of the trueth, in the power of God, by the armoure of righteousnes on the rightehande and on the lefte,
6:8	by honoure and dishonoure, by euell reporte and good reporte: as disceauers, & yet true:
6:9	as vnknowne, and yet knowne: as dyenge, and beholde, we lyue: as chastened, and not kylled:
6:10	as sorowynge, and yet allwaye mery: as poore, & yet make many riche: as hauynge nothinge, & yet possessynge all thinges.
6:11	O ye Corinthians, oure mouth is open vnto you, oure hert is made large.
6:12	Ye are in no straytnesse on oure behalfe: but where as ye are in straytnesse, that do ye of youre owne hertely meanynge.
6:13	I speake to you, as to childre, that haue like rewarde with vs.
6:14	Set youre selues therfore at large.Beare not a straunge yock with the vnbeleuers. For what fellishippe hath righteousnes with vnrighteousnes? What company hath lighte wt darknesse?
6:15	How agreeth Christ with Belial? Or what parte hath the beleuer with the infydele?
6:16	How acordeth ye teple of God with ymages? Ye are the temple of the lyuynge God, as sayeth God: I wyl dwell in them, and walke in them, and wyl be their God, & they shalbe my people.
6:17	Wherfore come out from amoge them, and separate youre selues (sayeth the LORDE) and touche no vncleane thinge, so wyl I receaue you,
6:18	& be youre father, & ye shalbe my sonnes and doughters, sayeth ye Allmightie LORDE.
