2 Corinthians - Chapter: 13

>
13:1Lo! this thridde tyme Y come to you, and in the mouth of tweyne or of thre witnessis euery word schal stonde.
13:2Y seide bifor, and seie bifor, as present twies, and now absent, to hem that bifor han synned, and to alle othere; for if Y come eftsoone, Y schal not spare.
13:3Whether ye seken the preef of that Crist, that spekith in me, which is not feble in you?
13:4For thouy he was crucified of infirmyte, but he lyueth of the vertu of God. For also we ben sijk in hym, but we schulen lyue with him of the vertu of God in vs.
13:5Asaie you silf, if ye ben in the feith; ye you silf preue. Whether ye knowen not you silf, for Crist Jhesu is in you? but in happe ye ben repreuable.
13:6But Y hope, that ye knowen, that we ben not repreuable.
13:7And we preien the Lord, that ye do no thing of yuel; not that we seme preued, but that ye do that that is good, and that we ben as repreuable.
13:8For we moun no thing ayens treuthe, but for the treuthe.
13:9For we ioyen, whanne we ben sijk, but ye ben myyti; and we preien this thing, youre perfeccioun.
13:10Therfor Y absent write these thingis, that Y present do not hardere, bi the powere, which the Lord yaf to me in to edificacioun, and not in to youre distruccioun.
13:11Britheren, `hennus forward ioye ye, be ye perfit, excite ye; vndurstonde ye the same thing; haue ye pees, and God of pees and of loue schal be with you.
13:12Grete ye wel togidere in hooli cos. Alle hooli men greten you wel.
13:13hooli men greten you wel.
13:14The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, and the charite of God, and the comynyng of the Hooli Gost, be with `you alle. Amen.

13:1Lo this is the thirde time that I come vnto you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall euery worde stand
13:2I tolde you before, and tell you before: as though I had bene present the seconde time, so write I nowe being absent to them which heretofore haue sinned and to all others, that if I come againe, I will not spare,
13:3Seeing that ye seeke experience of Christ, that speaketh in mee, which towarde you is not weake, but is mightie in you.
13:4For though hee was crucified concerning his infirmitie, yet liueth hee through the power of God. And wee no doubt are weake in him, but we shall liue with him, through the power of God towarde you.
13:5Proue your selues whether ye are in the faith: examine your selues: knowe yee not your owne selues, howe that Iesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
13:6But I trust that ye shall knowe that wee are not reprobates.
13:7Nowe I pray vnto God that yee doe none euill, not that we should seeme approued, but that ye should doe that which is honest: though we be as reprobates.
13:8For wee can not doe any thing against the trueth, but for the trueth.
13:9For we are glad when wee are weake, and that ye are strong: this also we wish for, euen your perfection.
13:10Therefore write I these thinges being absent, least when I am present, I should vse sharpenesse, according to the power which the Lord hath giuen mee, to edification, and not to destruction.
13:11Finally brethren, fare ye well: be perfect: be of good comfort: be of one minde: liue in peace, and the God of loue and peace shalbe with you.
13:12Greete one another with an holy kisse.
13:13All the Saintes salute you.
13:14The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ, and the loue of God, and the communion of the holy Ghost be with you all, Amen.

13:1This is the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established."
13:2I have told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present the second time, and now being absent I write to those who have sinned already, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare
13:3since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.
13:4Because, though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. Because, we also are weak in Him, but we will live with Him by the power of God toward you.
13:5Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you are reprobates.
13:6But I trust that you shall know that we are not reprobates.
13:7Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honest, even though we are as reprobates.
13:8Because, we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
13:9Because, we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we desire, even your perfection.
13:10Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction.
13:11Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
13:12Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13:13All the saints greet you.
13:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
